Fun
5/5

Eddie was so fun and can really spot the animals well! We saw 3 of the big 5 but lots of playful elephants, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, 2 lions, a cheetah eating an impala, crocodile, hippo, warthog, impala, nyala and prob more I cant remember to name! So worth every penny!

Big Five
4/5

From the moment we contacted Serengeti Smile, we had so many questions, and they patiently answered each one. Even during our trip, we sought their advice on hotels and trustworthy websites, and they were incredibly helpful.

Our safari was truly an adventure-filled, unforgettable experience, thanks to our guide Justin and his assistant Ombeni. They made sure we spotted all the Big Five and spent quality time with our favorite animals. We took hundreds of photos, and they always positioned us for the best shots. I still can’t believe how close we were to the animals! Over our four days together, we were never bored and shared plenty of laughs.

I highly recommend requesting Justin as a guide. His experience and constant big smile made the trip even more enjoyable.

Thank you again for this amazing experience!

A professional safari tour operator with a decent office and spartan accommodation
4/5

Despite the four star rating of the Baboon Budget holidays, their freelance guide Titos deserves the full five.
He understands fundamental rules of customer care.
He is punctual, delivers the programme as it was outlined to a client.
He posseses a good local knowledge regarding the visited places, nature and beyond.
His English is of good standard and handles the vehicle professionally. This is something you will appreciate on the roads in Kenya.
Having a professional background in outdoor activity instructing and management I would happily employ Titos myself.
As for the overall performance of the company itself.
We had booked a six day private safari tour which has brought us to Massai Mara, Naivasha lake, Nakuru NP and Amboseli National Park.
This was a great selection of Kenyan experience and the company delivered it as presented in their quotation.
The communication prior to the tour was perfect and Dennis was in touch along the tour as well.
I have taken one star off from the best rating due to few events and suggestions.
There was a confusion at the initial briefing in their office about the type of the product booked. We were promised a private tour, however the representative seemed to have us scheduled on a group tour.
The last thing you want after tiresome journey is haggling about the basics, having children besides you.
This was rectified immediately by the owner.
Another thing which dashed our experience was my delayed luggage. I asked BBS to look after the delivery of the luggage considering it a courtesy since the delivery would be happening along the regular routes of the operator. This is based on own my experience from my former employer's customer service operating similar tours around Ireland.
I was hit by a hefty charge of about €50 at the end of our tour. I could have had the luggage delivered free of charge by the airlines instead.
One more rant about the accomodation in Nakuru hotel. The receptionist has allocated a room with a double bed and single bed to a family of four. The hotel manager fixed this for us after a complaint. The bathroom cleanliness in this place could improve.
Miti Mingi camp tents were quite tight, however I believe this could have been dealt with if we complained to the camp manager.
Then again a customer should be provided with a sufficient standard without the need of pointing out flaws and anticipating client's needs in the first place.
The Nyati safari camp was at a high level of service provided with spectacular views of Kilimanjaro.
We had a great adventure with BBS.
I would recommend and use them again.

very helpful and knowledgeable guide with friendly charisma
5/5

We booked a mokoro tour in Daunara and are completely satisfied. Everything was well organized, the journey to the departure point was adventurous and beautiful and the mokoro tour itself was very interesting. Our guide Edwin was always present and very attentive and we can highly recommend the tour with him! We would be happy to do it again anytime!

Amazing experience, amazing service, highly professional, highly recommend
5/5

From the very beginning George was highly professional and answered any queries we had very promptly. We were met at the airport and from the start to the end of our trip were looked after so well. The guides Jacob and Chumboso were amazing, ethical and very hard working guides with so much experience. The wildlife encounters we had were beyond fantastic. The accommodation options were brilliant, great variety, and food outstanding. I have been on safari many times before but this company is one of the best. Couldn’t recommend them more.

Tailored tour based on my preferences and highly responsive and helpful communication
5/5

I chose Socioolite after having had parallel dialogues with several tour operators in search for my optimal safari experience. I only had 4 days in the middle of a business trip and I wanted to pack in genuine wildlife experiences in an eco-friendly way in those days. The quality of the guidance I got from Socioolite, as well as their responsiveness, was very high, and they helped me tailor a trip fulfilling all my requirements comprising different types of accomodation, bush walk and safari drives, Sabi sands and Kruger park. I saved a lot of time compared with if I had to do all the research and bookings on my own. Socioolite kept in touch with me via whatsapp throughout my trip to ensure everything went well. I was very pleased with their service and it felt very safe. In addition , they helped me ensure in advance that my dietary requirements (vegan!) would be catered for in all locations and - trust me - that is not easy here in South Africa.

An excellent safari operator providing a great experience
5/5

We have just completed a six day safari with Laxatrails. During planning from overseas their communication was quick. On safari our guide, Peter, did an excellent job. His experience and communication with other guides meant that we were at the right place to see a large variety of wildlife, often at very close range. We greatly appreciated our talks with Peter, his knowledge of the wildlife and what he shared on Kenyan culture. We also enjoyed many laughs together! Dennis, the boss, was a pleasure to spend time with and he was attentive to our requests. We were happy with all of the accomodation arranged for us and particularly enjoyed the luxury tented camp experience at Mara Mtito. We can thoroughly recommend Laxatrails.
Kia Ora from two happy Kiwis!

Nature's Majesty: Expedition Through Africa's Wildlife Paradises with Meijo Safaris and Assad
5/5

We recently had the pleasure of doing our first safari in Tanzania. And it was more than extraordinary. From start to finish, this safari exceeded all our expectations.

Itinerary and Activities:
The itinerary was perfect-planned. Since the first contact with Michael of Mejio Safari's we got a lot of suggestions, uncomplicated and directly response so we could figure out our prefect individual Safari. Unfortunately one of our bags didn't reach out our destination due to a mistake of the airline. So Michael helped us out and managed the whole process so we were able to get the bag as early as possible back. An additional positive aspect were the way they do they do their "lunchbags". Different to the others they had meddal boxes which were filled by the accommodations - instead of paperboys with sandwiches like a lot of others we saw at the lunch-breaks.

Our Guide Assad:
He was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about the wildlife and ecosystem. He had always an answer for all of our questions - no matter which topic - and inspired us with his love of wildlife and especially the Serengeti. For us he was not only the guide, he was more than that. He was our Swahili teacher, dictionary, and encyclopedia all in one, always eager to create a positive atmosphere and help us make unforgettable memories. Assad is a very warm-hearted, well prepared and organized professional. In addition it should also be mentioned that he's speaking very good English.

Wildlife Experiences:
The highlight of the tour was undoubtedly the wildlife sightings. We were fortunate to see the Big Five—lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and last but not least the rhino—along with countless other animals. Each drive brought new surprises, making every outing exciting -
not just because of the animals but also because of the landscapes.

Accommodations:
The lodges we had individually chosen were in different categories. What they had really all in common: The staff were super warm and attentive to make us feel comfortable. Each evening, we enjoyed delicious meals and they prepared the lunch for the following day. The rooms/tent we had were all perfectly clean with warm-water and W-Lan even though you were partly in the middle of nowhere. We really had nothing to complain.

Overall Experience:
5of5 Stars of Experience as well as 5of5 of Big Fives :)
We always will remember this incredible Safari. Big thanks for that to our Meijo Safari's and especially our guide Assad!

Don't ruin your vacation
1/5

1. They told me that I would be staying at a guesthouse and when I arrived I was staying in a tent. 2. the safari was very short, everything was at speed. we left in the morning at 8 and at 2 pm we were already at the accommodation. 3. our guide (KARIM) didn't speak English, he was driving fast, I had to tell him to stop so I could see the animals. unfortunately my safari was a disaster

Amazing!
5/5

We booked our safari with JT Safari's, which is across the street to our resort, Neptune. Julius made sure we had an amazing guide for a 3 day safari through Tsavo and Amboseli. Our guide was Joseph: a great guy and very knowledgeable. Would absolutely recommend!
