Tanzania is a jewel of wildlife, scenery and wonderful people.
5/5

We had an excellent 15 day safari and Zanzibar trip with Tiem Tours and Safaris.
We decided to use a Tanzanian based outfitter directly and it went seamlessly. We wanted a safari trip that spent as much time as possible in the bush and at tent camps. We then added a couple of days in Zanzibar at the end of the trip. They responded with a tailor made trip for us. During the lead up to the trip we made a number of changes related to trips routes and added some in-country flights. They handled all changes quickly and accurately and did it for cost without extra service charges.
Through 9 months of planning they always promptly replied to all questions
We wired payments direct from our bank to Tiem’s with no issues. Receipts and copies of Tanzanian bank deposit slips were promptly provided.
Right from first arrival our guides always met us as scheduled on different legs.
The accommodations were top drawer. The tent camp sleeping and dining facilities were furnished wonderfully, king beds, flush toilets, hot showers and so on. One camp was in the middle of a wildebeest herd.
Our guide was a safe and competent drive who had excellent knowledge of wildlife. He found a lot of game for us, wildebeest crossings of the Mara River and kept the Land Cruiser stocked with cold drinks and snacks. A great companion for the safari.
After our safari we transferred to Zanzibar. The hotel was a beautiful facility with seaview room. We went a number our tours and one day had a seafood barbeque lunch on a sandbar. For football fans imagine a huge tailgate party in the middle of the Indian Ocean.
So summary TIEM Tours and Safaris did a 5 out of 5 jobs and we would definitely use them again

Best guide ever
5/5

My husband and I booked a tour to see Victoria Falls and were guided by a very energetic and knowledgeable gentleman named Kuda. He had so much to tell us about the falls and did so in a way that was exciting and engaging. We were never rushed through the various stops along the falls and he even took photos and a video of us. The amusing back and forth conversations we had with Kuda made our guided tour even more memorable! Thank you Kuda - we miss you!!

Perfect getaway
5/5

Our trip was customized and perfectly planned by James to the very last detail.
We had a short getaway and wanted to utilise our time to a maximum extend. James managed to book all transfers, internal flights and accommodations to fit perfectly those requirements and we managed to visit both Amboseli and Masai Mara. James was checking every day how things are going on. It was a great experience. Thank you!

Awesome operator and customized tour in Southern Africa
5/5

My evaluation is based on destination, communication, cost efficiency, well-coordinated excursions, upscale accommodation, and overall service quality. Namibia is a beautiful country with varieties of colorful landscape (ocean, desert, mountain) and wildlife (dolphin, whale, flamingos, big 5, and more). Bluecrane Safari checks all these criteria with one extra, emergency handling. Additionally, their tour guides are very attentive to clients, try the best to accommodate reasonable requirements, and always talk professionally even if some might treat harshly. I definitely will return to Namibia with Bluecrane Safari.

Bluecrane Safari hosted a 13-day Southern Africa tour for my group of Aug- Sep 2024. We had a great time until Sep 1, our day 2 in Namibia. One of our vehicles crashed and some got medium to significant injuries. During the long and intensive rescue process at a very remote site, we did observe that our tour guides are professionally trained to handle emergencies. Fortunately, we had brand new and solid-built safari vehicles. Otherwise, it would be much worse.

The sad accident was no one's wish and hopefully no one will ever have to deal with this. However, accidents do happen. Remember travel insurance, tightening seat belt, front sitter be alert of road and driver's condition, practice basic crash self- protection procedures, and seek best medical facilities if emergency happens for future travel reference. Our lives and wellbeing are priceless.

The Safari that won’t be forgotten
5/5

We recently went on our first private safari, and it was an incredible experience! From the moment we were picked up from the hotel, everything was super well planned. Over two amazing days, we explored Tarangire and Ngorongoro with our fantastic guide, Ludo. His knowledge of wildlife made us feel safe and excited, and he was always on the lookout for interesting sights and animals.
We learned so much and felt well taken care of throughout the trip. Although we wished we could stay longer than two days, we are very grateful to have met Ludo. We highly recommend him and Goldfinch Adventures for an unforgettable safari experience and hope to see him again on our next adventure!

Amazing honeymoon safari with African Big Cat Safaris!
5/5

We had the most amazing three days in Ngorongoro Crater and central Serengeti with African Big Cats Safaris. Emanuel and Naomi in head office were incredibly helpful planning our private and personalised safari, and were even more helpful when we unfortunately got delayed in Doha for two days on our way over and missed the first two days of our safari, which meant we needed to make some very last minute changes to our itinerary. But even with the missed days we had a great safari. Rick our driver was friendly, flexible and very informative about everything we saw. And we saw everything! We got amazing photos with the animals right next to the safari vehicle. The tented lodges were fabulous, particularly Kubu Kubu. It was all a lot more affordable than I had initially expected too - great value for money. I could not recommend this company enough!

Trip to the Equator
5/5

I was pleasantly surprised when I submitted a quote request at around midnight, not thinking it would be possible for a next day tour, and I received a message saying I could be picked up in the morning!

Adam arrived a few minutes early and we started on this adventure from Kampala to experience the equator.

He obviously loves his job and knows the route well. He answered all of my questions.

Arriving at the Equator, we started in a little shop/restaurant, then made our way across the street to see the water exhibit. We took a few pictures as well.

I was able to shop, then we returned to the restaurant which must be popular during the busy season, yet today there was no wait.

We headed back to Kampala, and went we got to the city, he chose a different route, showing me the kings palace, the straight road to parliament and the path only the king is allowed to take.

Highly recommend this tour company, and you would be lucky to have Adam as your guide.
