Honest and professional
We chose Kenya Walking Survivors Safaris for our upcoming Christmas & New Year trip because Mr.Otieno had always been very responsive to all my requests, even called us a few times with international calls to make sure we receive his emails and everything were arranged according to our needs. Their prices are the most reasonable and we saw good reviews both in Safaribookings and Tripadvisor. Unfortunately, we could not go on a safari with the company due to Mr. Otieno's car accident and the company needs to close temporary. I was a bit worry of what was going to happen to the money that i paid in full for my 13-days Safari plus Zanzibar for a group of 6 people. That is a lot of money that we had paid in full amount. Luckily, they have been treating us with honesty and professionalism. They sent an email with sincere apology to explain what was happen with the company and why the trip got cancelled. And they gave us FULL REFUND on Oct 4th to my visa card. And today my credit card company just called me to confirm that the refund was done and money is returning to my credit card successfully.
I am very appreciated their honestly. And very sorry to the unfortunate accident of Mr. Otieno. Wish him a full recovery soon. Also wish all employees all the best. I read from TripAdvisor that many people have loss their jobs because the company is closing down. Hope everything is going back to normal soon.
Now I need to search for a new tour operator but all companies that I contacted offer me at much higher price for the same itinerary. I and my friends will consider Kenya Walking Survivors Safari again if the company resume their business for our next Safari trip.

Unforgettable experience!
Communication is the most easy aspect. I have direct contact with Mr. Saidy who always answers my calls and attends to all my queries in a timely manner. The prices were fair and when we wanted to amend our itinerary, Andy made the procedure extremely stress free and comfortable. It is the second trip Andy has planned for me and I am certainly looking forward to the next one. Highly recommended travel consultants that are extremely knowledgeable about the region as a whole.

Great Safari on a Short Stay with Africa vacation safaris
On my recent business trip to Nairobi i booked a short safari to Nakuru National Park with this company. They ansered to my mails within minutes of making inquiries which made it very easy to plan the day trip. My guide Joseph was amazing throughout. He appeared to be very knowledgeable with the parks terrain and animals around. Lake Nakuru National park was also an amazing park. In just two game drives, morning and afternoon game drive we were able to see almost all the animals. I will recommend the operator to visitors coming to East Africa.

Disappointing experience
We booked a trip to Namibia and Botswana in advance of a year and a half to get a specific driver / guide in Botswana. Andre promised us that. As a result, Andre gave us another driver / guide. Moreover, Andre changed three ordered camps without prior notice. One of these camps was outside the national park, and we had to pay additional fees for entering the park. We are very disappointed.

Wonderful tour in Tanzania
Se hâd organised a tour FOR 4 people and had an absolutely amazing time. Our guide, Karuto, was excellent and extremely knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble, and he ensured that we were comfortable and missed nothing. He had an uncanny ability to manoeuvre the vehicle close to the optimum photo opportunity.
The accommodation was of a high standard, as were the meals. We were truly impressed.

Great service.
I was pleasantly surprised with these guys. Easy communication, timely pick up etc, better quality Safari vans, I have seen so other examples on the way. Knowledgeable stuff, especially Isaak, Douglas and Daniel. The even helped me to get the train tickets to Mombasa at a very short notice. Great team!

A very well organised trip for the Migration in Tanzania and Silver backed Gorillas in Bwindi.
We were met at the airport on arrival after a long journey. A well organised trip with so much to see...great staff and excellent accommodation. The Tanzania sector also worked very well. Communications were always prompt , Alfy kept in touch with us whilst we were out on Safari, which was most reassuring. The whole experience exceeded expectations. Excellent all round .

A small group tour with an enthusiastic and knowledgable guide providing a wide range of highlights
The tour is full on from day one with game viewing in the parks often covering 8 hours per day and may be longer when something special has been spotted. The safari experience with Masihambe on our Namibia and North Cape region tour included not just animal viewing but good opportunities to observe all forms of wildlife including insects, reptiles and especially the birds, with numerous raptors spotted on a daily basis.
The group was breifed on what to expect the following day, and the guide often stopped to explain many aspects of the flora and fauna of the regions we visited and also knew about the geology and anthropology which made the time in various tribal regions alot more meaningful.
Food was plentiful and catered for peoples various culinary requirements. Lunch was usually a quick roadside stop with salad and sandwich
However, we must stress that it is not a holiday with many days starting at 6.00 am and evening meals not usually till 7.30 to 8.00 at night. Travel often envolved great distances along some dusty and bumpy roads. The accommodation was always clean and comfortable and this tour certainly provided one with lesser known highlights of Namibia, as well as the famed National Park of Etosha, Swakopmund and Trans frontier region which are included in most tours. The 29 days flew by and I would highly recommend Masihambe for those keen on wildlife and culture.
