An unforgettable self-drive family trip! We highly recommend.
5/5

We (a family with two daughters aged 13 and 15 years) spent the first three weeks of July 2013 on a self-drive safari. As advised by Geert (Nick), our route included Johannesburg, Drakensberg, Kwazulu-Natal, Mozambique and Swaziland. It was fantastic. Never have we experienced the beauty of nature in such an amazing way. Drive to the left instead of to the right and you find yourself standing face to face with two rhinos. We had to be careful not to let the monkeys steal any of our braai’d meats or bananas from the cooler. We had trouble only with finding lions but a quick text message to Geert and it was handled (or maybe it was coincidence?). Apart from all the animals and beautiful birds, the whale safari in St Lucia and swimming with dolphins at Ponta D' Ouro gave us something to remember. And in South Africa the night skies are really dark. Look up and you can see the immense galaxy. This was new for us.

In short, we had an unforgettable holiday. Geert and Freya, thank you for that. We will probably meet again at the next holiday fair.!

Got to the top, with lots of help and support
5/5

Only great memories. Good quality camping gear, I was under prepared but they helped me at each step. The food was good, and enough for everyone. I would reccommend them.

What a wonderful experience! Our trip was well taken care of from A to Z!
5/5

We enjoyed our wonderful trip to South Africa. From A to Z we were well looked after and you tailored everything to our needs and budget. The highlight of our trip was swimming with dolphins in Mozambique. Both times we saw dolphins and, on the second day, the dolphins really wanted to play. Nature was absolutely brilliant every time. The people we met were all very friendly and the luxury end of our trip in Tembe was really super! Twice a day we enjoyed game drives with a very funny and knowledgeable guide. I thought spending six hours a day in a bumpy car would be boring but it's actually exciting every minute. You never know whether you will see a lion or leopard.

It was nice to meet you in St Lucia, your personal approach and empathy with your guests’ journey makes it very special. We found the country beautiful and had a wonderful holiday which was a wonderful gift to give our children. We will definitely come back!

My Experience with Africa Adventure Safaris
5/5

This company seems to have a couple of different names, so that can be confusing. I dealt with Africa Adventure Safaris, but their email also indicates they have sister companies called Gorilla Trek Africa and Rwanda Gorillas Safari. I talked with a Bill, based in California, and also Nicolas who was the main guy, based in Kampala.

Overall, their service was reliable and outstanding. I was wary of sending them a lot of money upfront, so I put down a deposit and and paid the rest in cash when I actually met the driver who was bringing me to the Bwindi forest. As much as I didn't like carrying that cash around, paying online or by credit card meant additional fees, so I took my chances. That's a personal decision. In my case, I was picked up at the airport by my hotel (the Boma in Entebbe, also recommended) and kept the money in a safe in my room, so in my case it worked out fine.

I found Nicolas & co. to be extremely supportive and trustworthy before, during and after my gorilla excursion. They looked after me and had a genuine interest in my well being and getting the most out of the experience. They kept every promise; there were no disappointments.

Bear in mind this is Uganda, so you'll travel through a lot of poverty and drive on roads sufficiently broken up and bumpy as to require a four-wheeled-drive vehicle. But I also found amazing and surprising luxury at the end those roads.

I went to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in western Uganda, and stayed in the "deluxe" accommodations, which cost a little more than the basic package. The Gorilla Mist Camp was beautiful, serene and I had a great, expansive view of the mountains of southern Uganda from the terrace of my little hut. It was not "camping." The energy is solar. The hot water was plenty hot. There's also "luxury" accommodations; I can't imagine what that entails.

I kept in touch with Nicolas through much of my trip, even after they dropped me off after the gorilla trek. It didn't seem to matter they had already fulfilled the promise of the gorilla tour. Nicolas always responded and kept working with me. In the end, Bernard, who drove me to the gorillas from Entebbe, picked me up in Kampala and took me to the airport. Bernard and I had a nice dinner on Lake Victoria, and I was quite sad to leave that country hours later. Hi Bernard! Bill

Very personal and exceptional
5/5

The introductory discussions were very useful for a group that had not visited South Africa before for a holiday and doing their first safari in Africa. The initial bookings were handled very well. Then the e-mail system created a problem with final payments. What impressed me most was the way Roho Ya Chui retrieved the bookings and got our group of six to Ngala in time to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday.

An amazing adventure, enhanced with the camping aspect and closeness to the people and animals
5/5

This trip was my second with Masihambe- first one with my husband, second without, knowing how well organised the company was- everytrip has hiccups, but any were coped with efficiently and without fuss to everyones satisfaction. As a 60+ I had no problems adapting to the outdoors, everything was there, comfortable, food from the fire fantastic. Itinerary and variety were amazing- each day brought new thrills and surprises from accommodation, safari successes and friendships with locals and fellow travellers.

A Passionate Team of Safari Experts Who Truly Cares About Your Trip !!!
5/5

From the first time I spoke to Safari Infinity regarding my trip, I was immediately impressed by their extremely prompt, professional, and precise responses!

Thanks to their exceptional planning and communication skills, I felt 100% comfortable prior to my arrival in Tanzania.

As someone who loves photography, I aimed to capture amazing photographs of wildlife on my trip.

Although I was only on the safari for 5 days, every day was action-packed.

I have to say, I went home 100% happy with my photos.

I don't believe everyone who goes to the safari on the first time will see the big five (consistently!!!), plus rare wild dogs, and so much more! But that's only made possible by the mind-blowingly knowledgeable team and guide, who was able to plan ahead and bring us to the right place, at the right time, under the right lighting conditions, every single day! I truly got to witness and experience mother-nature at her best.

Furthermore, Safari Infinity's taste for accommodation is impeccable. They will recommend the best accommodations with great value and ones that offer authentic safari experience. If the accommodation is in any way not up to par, Sam and Lucia will speak up immediately for their customers to make sure they are treated right.

All in all, Safari Infinity truly cares. You will be treated like you are the only customer. They will listen attentively and customise your trip based on exactly what you’re looking for. Since our first interaction, I can tell they are genuine, kind-hearted and passionate. They will go out of their way to ensure that you will have the trip your lifetime! Only if I can rate them 6 stars!

Amazing Tour and a Great Experience
5/5

First time travelling to Africa on Safari. My brother planned this tour in August 2013 and organized it through Odyssey Safari. This was a trip of a life time. We left on the 29th of April to Nairobi in a group of 10 from Edmonton (Canada). Our drivers/guides Erastus and Simone met us at the airport and transferred us to our overnight stay at the Fairview Hotel in Nairobi. The next morning early after breakfast left for Masai Mara for our 3 nights stay. After the long ride very beautiful drive and the bumpy road to the camp we were over joyed at seeing the beautiful place and the warm welcome we received. The evening game drive was fantastic, so many wildlife on the very first day. The rest of the game drives were even more exciting. We ran into some vehicle trouble right by a Lion who was protecting his kill, that made it even more exciting. We had so much fun that morning - it did not bother us that there was a Lion so close to our vehicles. Erastus and Simon did everything possible to make our game drives through Masai Mara a truly memorable one. Some of us went to the Masai Village and that experience is something that I will live with for ever. After our sad good byes at the Masai Mara Camp we headed off to Lake Naivasha - wow that's a fabulous place and we will go back there for sure. Loved the experience of walking with the wildlife roaming the grounds of the Lodge. Especially the Giraffe's and the best was seeing the Hippo's come out at night to graze. The drive/walk through Hells Gate park and walking through the gorge was unbelievable. Finally off to Lake Nakuru to see the Rhino's and the Flamingos. We saw a Lion once again with a Buffalo kill and the Rhino's and just before we excited the park we got the thrill of a life time- a Black Rhino did not like us and boy oh boy did he ever give us the chase. Erastus was great he moved it so fast as he did not want the Rhino to get in front of the Jeep. That truly was the highlight of our Safari. Hats off to Erastus and Simone - we gave them a lot of goodies and tipped them well. They deserved it and we hope everyone will tip their guides well. They go out of their way to give you a good time. Thank you also to Mark Cahill for organizing this Safari so well. Odyssey Safari you are the best. We hope we get to see Erastus and Simone again.

Everything was perfect.
We enjoyed the tour with Gershom very much.
He is a very good guide and driver, told us a lot about the country and its inhabitants.

We were very lucky to see many animals, even lions! Bush lodge was great.

Lake Bunyonyi is a big treasure. Best - not only for relaxing on our last two days.

We will recommand you to our friends.
Thanks a lot!
