Great wildlife and bush experience but expensive and not as diverse as neighboring countries.

Didn't see too many birds, but saw a lot of everything else: giraffes, hippos, zebras, elephants, etc.

The best safari experience to be had in Uganda.

I saw a diverse variety of wildlife with and without the guide. Even around the lodge you can get very close to the animals. The river trip was the highlight of the safari. Just make sure that you stay on the left side of the boat to get the best views. The guides were friendly and went out of their way to track down a lion for us. I also spent time in the Kazinga fishing village located in QEP and was amazed at how people could live in such proximity to the wildlife.

I choosed Crisscross Safari to organize our second tur to Namibia (19 days), from Windhoek to Victoria Falls and back. We experienced a wonderful journey ! mr. Blaauw, Thinus, understood perfectly our wishes : a blend of nature, culture, and a bit of wilderness...To se games, breathtaking landscapes, to meet people as Damara, Himba, Herero, and Bushmen was the purpose of the trip. This has been absolutly fulfilled !
We enjoyed very much the mixture of comfortable lodges, well located and a bit primitive camps choosen by CrissCross during our sojourn. it's nice to feel being in Africa far from the nearest "Intercontinental Hotel !"
We had the privilege to be accompanied by Mr. Blaauw, Thinus, it is a priceless treasure to travel with someone with so much local knowledge. Thinus was a mine of informations and anecdotes, this mixed with great humor.
Namibia is a wonderful country to visit and I highly recommend CrissCross Safari.
PS : From June (Winter) it's very nice to be in Namibia.
The food was excellent...We enjoy the wines too !

Kenya deserves to be explored and appreciated by the more adventurous traveler for its scenic beauty alone. While the wildlife is by-and-large confined to reserves, they are spectacular in their relative naturalness and abundance of flora and fauna.

We had been booked us directly for 3 days in the Paara Safari Lodge on the River Nile. A first class hotel safari that leaves no wish unfulfilled. A few feet away from the hippos, who laugh at night, sometimes funny and jump into the pool. The rooms are decorated in colonial style with fans and mosquito nets over each bed. you can close like curtains around the beds. Power is up by 23 clock in the evening. The food buffet is always fresh, and European. During a 6-hour safari, we have all seen animals including lions up close. The Murchison Falls are worth seeing. Overall, the National Park and the Paara Lodge is highly recommended.

Tanzania is a country which has got very beautiful parks with natural animals compared to other African countries though to some places infrastructure is still not good.
