Review about Lake Nakuru National Park by LimeWave
Lake Nakuru is located around a great lake and gives unique experience such as a big Rhino going to cool down by the waters edge among hundreds of pink flamingos. Or a pack of Lions going for a drink by the lake and then takes a rest. There's mountains surrounding that makes for an amazing view of the landscape.

Review about Masai Mara National Reserve by LimeWave
This is the park with the most wildlife in Kenya. It's a huge area and that makes it a more "wild experience" without any fences in sight. Although it get's lots of visitors, you rarely feel disturbed by other tour groups. We got to see all the big five as well as lots of other wildlife. We came close up to a huge group of elephants, got to see several lions with cubs, cheetas hunting, Masai Giraffe, Pumbaas, Hyenas, Gazelles etc etc. The landscape is mostly Savanna with an Acacia tree every now and then.

Wildlife encounters in a less visited park
We had a nice experience in Meru National Park with several unique wildlife encounters with wildlife. The landscape is varied, mostly bushland with several waterholes but also several open fields. Meru offer you a chance to see the Reticulated Giraffe, a subspecies not found in the Lake Nakuru or Masai Mara. We also had a chance to see the close-to-extinct black Rhino. Of course we got to see an abundance of other wildlife as well. On our safari we visited both Meru, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara national park and the three all had their own profile and features and is a great combination. Of these three, Meru was the one with the least visitors.
Review about Madikwe Game Reserve by kanigma
We managed to see the big 5 over a couple days, we had a wonderful time on safari.
Catch it on a clear day
We drove through Camdeboo on a foggy day, and could hardly see ten meters out after hiking up the hill for a view into the Valley of Desolation. The fog was beautiful in its own way, but did not leave much scope for viewing wildlife or looking out at the landscape on a more grand scale.

Review about Kenya by LimeWave
From our understanding, this is one of the best places in Africa to get up and close to wildlife. Tanzania get's busier and more visitors, and that "Bush Vibe" isn't as great there. With that said, we haven't compared this ourselves. We've talked about safaris all over Africa but found that this is the best place to get your first - great - safari experience.
Review about South Africa by kanigma
The sheer range of options from upscale lodges to real bush camps, from the mountains to the desert and to the coast, and the full range of wildlife that can be found makes South Africa an amazing safari destination. The challenge is picking the places you cannot visit on a trip.
The Africa of my dreams.
In my mind, I always pictured Africa as expansive grassy plains, watering holes where animals gathered to drink, and the sun setting in a final sigh of purple and orange hues as it disappeared behind stands of acacia trees. Hwange National Park delivered all of this and more. From a pride of lions stalking unconcerned through tall grasses, to elephants wandering the park stripping leaves and branches as they passed, to the loping grace of giraffes nibbling as they moved from tree to tree, their heads rising up to survey the landscape, to the magnificent and varied species of birds, there was never a day without the breathtaking magnificence of animals in their natural environment. The abundant wildlife and diversity made daily photo safaris a much anticipated adventure. With so much to see, I’d have to remind myself to listen as well and breathe in all that Hwange National Park has to offer. The call of the birds, the rustling of the grasses, the myriad scents carried on the breezes, the thrum of insects, all made for a memorable African experience. I hated to leave. Now, whenever I think of Africa, I cry to think of what I left behind, and the images that come to mind are the treasured images from my visit to Hwange National Park.

Review about Masai Mara National Reserve by TheMrskoko
We were there for the migration saw great amounts of animals - all the big five minus the rino. It was a bit more croweded than the other parks we went too. Had a cheetah jump on the hood of our safari truck. Overall great experience! Must see and do!
