Wonderful Kilimanjaro + national parks safari experience with Golden Trips

Our phenomenal guides for Kilimanjaro, Dickson and Noah, provided us with an experience that allowed us to admire the grandeur of the place thanks to their knowledge and experience, as well as overcome the challenges that this adventure entails. They, along with the rest of the team, accompanied and supported us at all times during the journey, and made it easy for us to successfully reach the summit of Kilimanjaro.
And finally, Gaspar, our expert guide, made the safari a 10/10! Attentive and with an admirable knowledge of the terrain, he explained all the details and interesting facts about the animals and landscapes we saw on the tours. Thanks to his experience and commitment, we were fortunate to see a huge variety of wildlife in 5 days, including all the Big 5!!!

Attention to detail, friendly, and trustworthy!
Knowing this was a trip booked via WhatsApp, it’s strange way to conduct business this way but it’s the norm in Tanzania. The tour operator does have a working website with payment functionality through SWIFT or Visa. This makes it much easier to build credibility.
I had a three day time frame and my operator, Nancy was great at being responsive and adjusting my itinerary as needed. She booked accommodations that were quite comfortable, safe and secure. The whole experience I was well taken care of.
The pick up from JRO (Kilimanjaro) airport in the evening, being taken to my Airbnb for the evening (the driver Yusuf was super friendly and also called the Airbnb host to get me to the right house). In the morning, was promptly picked up and then proceeded to pick up other travelers efficiently. Our trip was safe, comfortable, and enjoyable. I opted to go to Serengeti Park, Ngorongoro crater, and then over to Materuni Falls, and after that trip was dropped off at the airport. Everything was handled quite well.
The trip was last minute but it was cost efficient and worth the value for money - they are open to negotiation, modifications, and accommodating your needs, so please do not hesitate to ask. Take the airport transfer option, enjoy yourself - you are in good hands.
I highly recommend Go Makini Tanzania Expedition - they made crafted my experience wonderfully and in a short time frame given my last minute ask.

I would like to write a warm recommendation for the best safari guide and driver – Bariki. Bariki has the eyes of a hawk and spots animals from a great distance. Thanks to him, we saw leopards, lion cubs, and many other animals. He was able to answer every question we asked with a wealth of information. He is incredibly knowledgeable, an expert in his field, and speaks excellent English.
He is also a wonderful person—always cheerful, helpful, and created a great atmosphere. On top of all that, he is the best driver in the safari. He drove us safely through roads and sand, always making sure we had the best and closest view of the animals.
Thank you so much, Bariki. You are a special person and played an important part in the amazing experience I had.

Brilliant! Friendly, professional and so enthusiastic.
This was the ultimate experience for the 3 of us from Australia. Hands down, the highlight was touring through Soweto and walking through the poor townships meeting the locals and even being invited into one of their homes. A local resident showed us around and explained their way of life and hardships.
The buffet lunch near Nelson Mandela's and Desmond Tutu's house was very tasty and filling too.
It was great seeing Johannesburg's tourist and historical sites.
The tour guide, whose name we can't recall I'm sorry, was an absolute gem - captivating, full of knowledge and a delight from the time we were warmly greeted on pickup to the time we said goodbye at our accommodation.
If you only do one tour in Johannesburg then make this one a priority. We highly, highly recommend this tour. It was such an eye opening experience and something we'll never forget.

As a solo female traveler, you can generally feel safe in the park, especially on organized tours. My guide, Festus is typically very knowledgeable about the animals.
Amboseli National Park offers stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and diverse wildlife, highly reco.

Johannesburg in 1 day
It was a very interesting and well managed tour. Our guide Tshepo did an excellence job. He kept track of time, gave us plenty and interesting information and drove us safely. In one day we got an insight of Constitution Hill, Apartheid-Museum and Soweto.
