Excellent and off the beaten track taylormade safaris where you feel you have made many friends!
4/5

I think the charm and beaty with this safaricompany is the smallness with it -meaning you get personalized service all the way. Their in depth knowledge about East Africa secures interesting itineraries where everything to the last details are thought through - there is a reason with every small stop along the way. Their guides are professional and experts on Kenya and Tanzania culture, history, flora and fauna. You always strike up great conversations which will give you an authentic and true picture of the places you are visiting.

Enjoyable adventure
5/5

We took 6 days safari with tent camping. If you are looking for a low key accommodation closer to the nature, friendly people, very relaxing schedule, you got it! Dennis, the driver/guide was knowledgeable, funny and very safe. We witnessed 2 hunts, one with chita and gazelle, the other one with a lion and gazelle. It looked like we were watching Discovery Channel but in real!! So exciting!
Moses (Musa), the chef was incredible! He was making delicious food in a middle of nowhere! Even a crepes for breakfast. So creative, fresh and tasty! Every time the food was served at the table with porcelain plates, glass caps and silverware, no plastic which was very nice. Modest but very clean!
We are thankful to the crew and Michael, our tour operator for bringing us the spirit, hospitality and beauty of this amazing country!

A well planned, well executed, thoroughly enjoyable and memorable holiday!
5/5

We visited South Africa as a large family group. The itinerary/activities were well planned and catered for all parties. We visited five places in total including St Lucia, Leopards Mountain, Ithala, Thonga and Tembe. We had amazing experiences and sightings at every destination; memories to treasure forever!

Nick/Freya were always helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble. We would strongly recommend 'Tailor made Safaris'. Overall, the holiday and 'Tailor made Safaris' surpassed all expectations and will use these guys for future holidays in SA.

Great week in Tanzania
5/5

Me and my wife took a great week travel through north tanzania this end of july. We visited Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and the Ngorongoro area. Accomodations were all medium level and very nice, especially the two tented camps we picked in Tarangire and Serengeti, it was incredible sitting on the bed looking at the zebras just a few meters away!! Gerald and Steven were friendly and they did all they could to make us see the big Five and guess what? we did it!

Best TIME Safari! Great company.
5/5

My husband and I went on a 4-day safari to Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire with Bestday Safari, and we had an absolutely fantastic time. Our guide (Godfrey) was super, very knowledgable, a great resource about Tanzania, its culture, society, and especially the animals. He made every effort to get us to see as much as possible (we did indeed see the 'Big 5' and so much more, especially birds). The accommodations were beautiful, well maintained and comfortable, very welcoming and friendly. We stayed in tented camps (one was quite luxurious) and one inn. I would very much like to come back to Tanzania and would definitely book local trips with Bestday Safari and Peter again.

Fantastic!
5/5

We went to Tanzania for 2 weeks in February 2011 with Ecological Wilderness Adventures and that was fantastic! Brian was very helpful and responsive in preparing the itinerary. We are so happy we decided to go with them! Everything was perfect, Brian was our guide for most of the safari except the last park in Tarangire where we were with Dixon and both of them are so nice and know so much! Everything was so well organized; we didn’t have to worry about anything. We arrived in Kilimanjaro airport in the evening, and the next morning Brian picked us up at the hotel. We first went to Lake Manyara National Park, and then 4 days in the Ndutu area, south of Serengeti, and that was the highlight of the trip: this was recommended by Brian and I am so glad we went there! This is just amazing; we saw the great migration, elephants, cheetahs, lions, and 2 different groups with lions cubs!!! I so wanted to jump out of the car and take one... We slept in the Serengeti Savannah Luxury mobile camp which was amazing, a huge tent with a real double bed, a shower and chemical toilets, and they warm water for you on the fire when you want to shower! Food is fresh and very good, all inclusive, and at night you hear the animals, so great.

Then we went to the Ngorongoro crater where we saw some rhinos, and ended at the Tarangire where we saw a leopard!! She even killed a monkey in front of us in a tree.

And to finish we went to Zanzibar for a few days at the Ras Nungwi, very nice too.

This was really an amazing trip and I didn’t expect seeing so much animals and so close.

Professional transfers and border crossing (Zim/Zambia) and great hotel
5/5

The transfers all went very well and the drivers were professional and courteous and handled the Zim/Zambia immigration hand over extremely well. We were very happy with the transfers and will certainly use you again.

The Royal Livingstone was great and we were very happy with the hotel. We enjoyed our stay at the Royal Livingstone, it’s a beautiful hotel with good service.

The only major failure was unfortunately the sunset cruise on the African Queen which turned out to be a very rowdy booze cruise with a lot of very noisy conference delegates who had no respect for the river, the other passengers or the game. As we had just come from The Hide in Hwange (where we had a private guide and vehicle), this was a big shock to us and not the way we should have experienced the Zambezi. I would suggest that you assess the guests needs and tastes when booking a river cruise. In hindsight one of the smaller boats would have been much more suitable, or even just a boat trip to Livingstone Island. Guests should be warned that the African Queen is a noisy booze cruise, the main purpose of the cruise seems to be for passengers to drink as much as possible. That may be okay for conference delegates on a party, not for bush appreciation however.

A day with the wilds
5/5

One of the fantastic vacation I had was during my last visit in Kenya.
I’ve been lucky to witness one of the biggest wildlife spectacles in the world and the most beautiful creatures on earth that you cannot imagine.

The people and the staff was very friendly and all are so happy at the end of each tour.

Recommends :
Masai Mara, the annual wildebeest migration from July to October is surely the greatest wildlife show on earth, an astonishing spectacle on an astonishing scale and the like of which you’ll see nowhere else on earth. In Amboseli, you can get up close and personal with the Maasai and with elephants while Africa’s highest mountain, Mt Kilimanjaro, looms in the background. In the lakes of the Rift Valley, in the shadow of the volcanoes in the great fracture that almost slices the continent in two, flamingos mass in their millions, turning the earth pink at places like Lake Nakuru and Lake Bogoria. Then there are the deserts of the north, the primate-rich rainforests of the west, the idyllic marine parks of the coast… This variety of signature African experiences is what gives Kenya a special edge when it comes to choosing a safari, and places it firmly among the elite of African safari destinations.

Thank you for the great experience and will surely recommend !
