It was one great time !

It was 13 of August of the year 2005 in Kenya and we were going south coming from Samburu NP and lake Naivasha, we ended up early on the afternoon on lake Nakuru. First thing we saw from afar was that pink colour that was spread all around in the lake. Our kind and gentyle guide said “flamingos, do you see them ?” It was one amazing sight.
We stayed in one excellent Lodge and enjoyed our tour there. On that wonderful landscape of the lake except of those amazing flamingos and some other birds, we saw rhinos, zebras, buffalos, waterbuks and baboons.

It was one great time !

Everything you ever want from a safari can be found in Tanzania. The scenery really gives you the true African feel and you can find wildlife almost everywhere.

Incredible! The pictures I took here are the ones that everyone cannot believe are real. Lions so close I could hear them breathing. Hippos, Hyeana, Serval Cat, Flamingos, Jackals, Baboons...just everything. Beyond belief. We stayed at Serena Ngorongoro and it was very nice and had an amazing view.

About: Zimbabwe
Great Wildlife and a Huge Range of Activities
Overall rating
5/5

A fantastic, under-appreciated destination. Great wildlife, incredibly friendly people, knowledgeable guides, good food, nice, clean accommodations and a wide range of activities that suited us well. We were fortunate in our wildlife viewing (4 of the Big 5) and birding (tons of Carmine Bee Eaters a major highlight), and had nothing but positive experiences with people, including guides. We used guides on walking and canoe safaris but stayed pretty low budget overall and found it easy to do so with a bit of help from outside sources. I would go back again in a heartbeat and recommended anyone to this wonderful country.

This was our first park. It seemed a little smaller than the others we visited but, it was much more lush. We observed a variety of baboon and monkeys here that we did not see elsewhere. Convenient to lodging and was not crowded at all. Great introduction. We stayed at Kirimuru Tents which was awesome!

About: Zambia
My home country and a favorite holiday destination!

Zambia is gorgeous! The people are incredible, the sites are breathtaking, and there is always something new and wonderful to experience. I was born in Zambia, so I am a bit biased. Living in Los Angeles now, it's nice to visit home and to experience things like the Victoria Falls and the South Luangwa. To have a sunset safari over the water, seeing gorgeous animals and enjoying the peacefulness. There's nothing like it!

Eye opening experiences in an amazing country

South Africa is an amazing country to visit and I recommend it to everyone that I can. I was there studying abroad so I had almost 5 months to experience what I did. I stayed in Stellenbosch for most of my time there, but I did travel on an outside (of my study abroad group) trip to Kruger National Park that was incredible. I also traveled along the Garden Route for a week, which was beautiful. Cape Town was such a fun city to explore - lots of shopping, restaurants, a waterfront area and a lively nightlife. Although I stayed in a part that was settled, there were still plenty of areas that were very rural. I miss South Africa and recommend it as a vacation destination!

About: Zimbabwe
A beautiful country with so much to offer!

We found the scenery to be the most attractive feature of Zimbabwe in particular places like Lake Kariba with its fishing and wildlife and Victoria Falls, one sight not to be missed. The food is delicious and gives you a taste of Zimbabwe's rich culture! With lovely weather every day and temperatures well over 30 degrees throughout summer Zimbabwe is a holiday not to be missed!
