They made my dream vacation come true
It has taken me longer than anticipated to write this review because I have been so busy going through tons of pictures and videos from this wonderful vacation. This trip wouldn't have been made possible if it weren't for the amazing Golden Rwanda tours staff. More specifically I would like to thank Frank who over the course of a year and a half assisted me in planning this dream vacation and promptly responded to all of the emails I sent him. Frank was always prompt in alerting me if arrangements were made and gave helpful advice regarding activities to do to maximize our trip. Due to unfortunate circumstances Frank was unable to accompany me and my wife on our trip that we had planned together for the past year and half. Frank graciously took me and my wife out to dinner upon our arrival to Rwanda, explained what was happening, noted nothing would change regarding our itinerary, and reported that 'Michael' would be with us for the entire trip. I was appreciative that Michael would be with us, but slightly nervous as I had planned this entire trip and had all my communications with Frank. My worries were quickly put at ease and I can say that Michael became like family with my wife and I. Michael was incredibly knowledgeable, a great driver, and just ultimately a great tour guide. He accompanied us for a week in Rwanda and a week in Kenya, making sure we were comfortable every step of the way. I would most certainly go through Golden Rwanda again and would recommend this company to anyone. Two short stories before I end this review: on our first gorilla trek my pants were falling down (you think I would be more prepared) and Michael gave me his belt for the trek to make sure I wasn't having to hold them up the entire time. On our second gorilla trek it became incredibly cold outside (you think I would have learned my lesson from the first day) so again Michael gave me his sweatshirt to wear on our hike up the hill. So I can say not only is Golden Rwanda the real deal, they will literally give you the shirt off their back. I can't recommend them enough and could go on and on with good things to say about them. If you are thinking about going through Golden Rwanda, do it! It is the best decision you could make.

I worked with Frank from golden rwanda
He is a kind, genuine individual who is willing to help you plan your trip, he answered all my questions / concerns. He is responsive to email except when he is away on hiking trips somewhere remote. We did 2nights Gorilla trek in rwanda, he was our guide for the whole trip. He was the only guide during our entire africa trip, whom we invited to hv some meals with us.
He is sincere and doesnt talk too much (not annoying like most tour guides are).
He gave us good pricing too! I booked with him directly.

Responsible & Quick
The guys in this travel agency is quite impressive, comparing to other services I have experienced in Africa. What impressed me most is the immediate refund because of wrong information they gave me beforehand about minimal service charges at Mt. Nyiragongo. In addition, they have fixed or tried something to compensate whenever I have informed them inconvenient experiences with the hotels they have booked for me. Considering usual uncertainty here, it is quite impressive to see that they take care of customers with their bests. I bet you wouldn't regret to use their services.

Akagera park safari
Our safari day trip with Jean Marie from Golden Rwanda tours was a fantastic experience and a memory for life! Great car and the best guide I have had on any trip. He did everything to make our day fantastic. Saw a lot of animals and a wonderful nature!

They make everything much easier
You can visit rwanda and go everywhere but golden rwanda made it much easier and fantastic to me .. actually i enjoyed my stay in rwanda and found it very nice place and i hope to come again soon and one of the reasons is golden rwanda .. i would like to thank golden rwanda guys for everything . perfect experience
When I stayed for 3 months in Rwanda, my parents came to visit. I booked their trip with Golden Rwanda tours, and I am very thankful for this experience. We travelled to Nyungwe and Akagera with Jean-Marie. Jean-marie was a perfect guide, with extensive knowledge on the country and its nature. You could see that even for him it was a pleasure to take us on this trip.
Price quality was perfect.

3 days around Rwanda
I had only 3 days in Rwanda and I wanted to the most of it. I contacted some agencies prior to my departure, and Golden Rwanda Tours was the one that offered me more things to do in such a short time for a very reasonable price. In 3 days we went to Akagera National Park, Gorilla Trekking, Lake Kivu and we did a Kigali city tour. They were very nice, communication was very good, they all speak very good english and told us about Rwanda history and culture. It was an amazing time we spent there and I would recommend their services to anyone. They were always on time and in a good mood. Also, in our last night there, while waiting to go to the airport they took us to dinner in a very nice restaurant with a great view of Kigali's city. Thank you so much, Michael and Frank!! We loved our visit and we hope to see you again!

Memorable One day safari to Akagera
Frank picked me up from my hotel in a timely courteous way & the drive from kigali to Akagera national park was filled with melodious music from the radio in the background & hopeful stories of Rwanda. My safari trip in the park started off on a lucky find of elephant family & kept getting better with sightings of zebra's, impalas, baboons, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, Hogwarts & more. We stopped for a short tea break & a relaxed lunch picnic in the park. Thankfully i accepted to use an air-conditioned SUV for this safari trip of over 6 hours as advised by frank to escape the heat. Had a very informed park guide along this trip as well. And to conclude this memorable adventure frank stopped on our way back to Kigali, for me to buy fresh corn to my fill. He played my favorite artist Bob Marley on the drive back and with the green country side floating past me i knew this memory would stay with me forever.

Unforgettable experience, excellent Guide
We are extremely happy that we visited the safaribooking.com website and booked the tour with the tour operator "Golden Rwanda Tour".
Enjoyed everything:
· Frank, the owner of Travel Agency , was ready to answer all of our questions in a jiffy since the phase of booking,
· Frank was very punctual, there wasn't a single time of him being late, although we were supposed to take off early almost every day
· A very good car and Frank was a very careful driver, always with a fair water supply
· Along the way, we've been offered to visit additional excursions that we really enjoyed
· Dinners at restaurants with beautiful views and at reasonable prices
· The hotels on route were all with good living conditions and high-quality service
· "Photo" stops in very interesting places
· We've learned much about Rwanda and loved this country. There are a lot of national parks with a completely different nature, many animals and plants, good roads and worthy hotels on a relatively small territory
· Frank accompanied us during most of hiking excursions (special thank for the help during the difficult Bisoke volcano hike)
· Complex follow-up support from the moment of arrival to the Kigali airport till our departure
All points of program were accomplished and we got more than we expected. Thank you a lot!
