The best guide ever, Michael Njoroge!
5/5

My daughter, granddaughter and I went on safari in the National Park in Nairobi on November 3, 2024.
The experience was wonderful and that was mainly due to the wonderful, knowledgeable and friendly guide we had.
Michael Njoroge made the safari even more special by sharing a lot of background knowledge about the country and the animals.
He did everything he could to find the best places to take the photos and films.
But the best part in my opinion was that he is a GREAT driver, who managed to drive the worst road sections in the smoothest and safest way.
He is incredible kind and patient and gave us a wonderful experience.
The service was excellent!!

Perfect three day Safari in Nyerere National Parc
5/5

Our 3-day safari in Nyerere National Park was an absolutely unforgettable experience! The variety of animals we were able to observe was impressive – from elephants and giraffes to lions and countless bird species.

Our stay at the Selous Safari Lodge was wonderful. The lodge is authentic and charming, and we felt perfectly taken care of right in the middle of nature.

I can’t understand the negative comments about simple meals and insects at all. Some people seem to forget that we’re in Africa, where resources are often limited. The food was delicious and plentiful, and the staff did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. The employees are extremely friendly and make every effort to keep insects away as best as they can.

A huge thank you goes to our tour guide Jafari! He made these three days a unique experience. His knowledge about the animals and African culture is impressive, and you can feel his passion for his job in every moment. He told us so many fascinating stories and brought us closer to nature and culture in a very special way.

A small tip: Definitely ask for the guide Jafari – we couldn’t have had a better one.

@Jafari: We will never forget you and sincerely hope that our paths will cross again. Sometimes, all it takes is a simple leaf to put a smile on people’s faces.

This trip was great!!!

Wild Media Safaris is a small company. Our guide Cornel is also one of the owners.
He has many years of experience and an excellent knowledge of flora and wildlife in Tansania. After only two days, we already managed to complete The Big Five.
He was friendly, very caring and always in a good mood. Whenever possible, he accommodated our requests and never gave up to show us something amazing.

For me it's clear: Safari in Tansania
only with "Wild Media Safaris"
It was fantastic!

Amazing experience
5/5

We had a fantastic time on safari. Everything was well arranged, we had a great guide in Silas (Simba), and I can’t see anything that could have been done better. Arranged everything from our hotel in Zanzibar until we checked in back at the hotel at Zanzibar. Picked up at the airport, they stored our luggage we did not need on safari, and we had 4 fantastic days on safari in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorogoro. Simba made sure we got to see all the animals we wanted and even more. Accommodation was fabulous, we chose mid-range and it was as good as luxury. Innocent even arranged a small bite for us on the way to the airport the last day. Would recommend it 10 out of 10 times. Asante sana!

Perfect!
5/5

Our trip was perfect! We booked a 4 days Safari in Taragire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti, and everything was very well planned, and it exceeded our expectations.
Our guide, Marco, was incredibly knowledgeable about everything, not only identifying animals and their behaviours, but explaining everything about animals as well as tanzania’s culture and lifestyle. We were very lucky to saw all those amazing landscapes and all the animals.
After the safari, we spent 4 days in Zanzibar to complete the experience with some beach and relaxing days.
We highly recommend Soul of Tanzania, it was one of our favorite trips by far!!

Brilliant Throughout
5/5

Thank you to Ilona for a wonderful safari experience in Botswana. We have been to Africa on a number of occasions but not to Botswana. We researched about 8 different companies and selected Safari Online. Ilona was instrumental in that selection, extremely helpful in advising on the areas and lodges to go to to meet our needs, and the price point was very competitive and super value for money. The communications throughout was second to none with real clarity on what we needed to take , what would be provided etc etc, which meant we ended up in a very relaxed frame of mind when arriving on the safari. Even when our flight was cancelled at the last minute Ilona ensured our international connections would not be disrupted. The safari itself was a 40th wedding anniversary celebration and it was exactly what we were looking for. The lodges , staff and knowledgeable guides were excellent and we saw all the animals (and more) that we were expecting and learnt a lot about Botswana . The icing on the cake was the surprise 40th anniversary dinner which was a lovely thought. I cannot recommend Ilona and Botswana highly enough. Thank you for a great holiday and wonderful memories

We saw it all! (minus a leopard)

7 day safari Maasai Mara-Lake Nakuru-Lake Navaisha- Hells Gate-Amboseli.

A great safari choice! Jocky was helpful and accommodating from the booking process thru the end of the 7 day safari.

Be ready to sit in the car for most of the safari. No matter what safari company you choose… buckle up. We drove at least 1,200 km in 7 days. But it’s totally worth it to see everything. I promise.

We loved the itinerary that Jocky offered. All the parks are so different from each other so the change of scenery every day or two was perfect. I also loved the stop in hell’s gate. It was nice to be able to get out of the car, stretch your legs and walk/bike around and enjoy the scenery. The lodging we were given each night was also very nice. For a budget accommodation package we received amazing food and hospitality. We stayed at Lenchada Tourist Camp, Buraha Zenoni Hotel, Chambai Safari Hotel, and Manjaro tented camp. At Lenchada and manjaro camps we were supposed to stay in tents but got upgraded to rooms since it’s the low season and they were unoccupied. So that’s a positive about going in the low season.

Last but not least I cannot thank my driver enough!!! Joseph, you were such a lovely and knowledgeable host. Joseph’s 10 years of experience really showed, he knew these parks like the back of his hand. Joseph knew all the spots to find the big 5. He was able to get us multiple lion, rhino, and cheetah sightings. (You’ll see the rest of the animals no problem). Joseph could spot a rhino laying in the bush from 300 yards away. It blew my mind. Unfortunately we did not spot a leopard but that just gives us an excuse to come back! So close to seeing the big 5!!

Our visit in November was during the low season and we were lucky to not receive any rain on our game drives. I can’t imagine what it’s like to witness Kenya in the peak of summer or during the great migration.

I highly recommend a Kenya Safari,
I highly recommend Joseph,
I highly recommend Jocky Safari

Pro tip: do some research on animals you are going to see. It makes the game drives so much more interesting and you learn what to look for. For example, black rhinos are often in pairs so if you see one there’s probably another close by. Example 2, male antelope herds are far more susceptible to becoming prey. So if you see a male herd, keep your eyes peeled for a big cat looking for dinner. Sorry for the long review, I hope this helps. I’ve traveled to 25 countries and this was by far the coolest experience I’ve ever had.
