Best experience ever
The safari with Suricata was not only worth every penny, but also one of the best experiences of my life. We saw elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, lions, hyenas, cheetahs, hippos, and even rhinos, among many other animals. Our driver, "Elias," was not only an excellent driver who drove us safely through the wilderness, but also a walking encyclopedia. He knew every animal and plant, as well as the customs of the local Masai people.

Unforgettable Tanzanian Adventure with Lion King Adventures!
Today is the last day of our most incredible 12-day customized safari and beach vacation to celebrate my 60th birthday. I can’t wait until we get home to write this review…we have had the trip of a lifetime thanks to Lion King Adventures. By booking directly with the Tanzania company Lion King Adventures, we not only saved a lot of money compared to using a big global travel agency/middle man, but we also received personalized attention and expert guidance from Jovitha and Rose throughout the planning process. They were so helpful and responsive and let us customize one of their safari/beach itineraries to meet my specific desires.
Our guide, Shebi, was truly the icing on the cake. With his vast experience and knowledge, he seemed to have a sixth sense for knowing exactly where the animals would be. His warm and personable nature made him a joy to be around, and he patiently answered all our questions about the animals, Tanzania's culture, and history. Shebi was our good luck charm, and we felt grateful to have him by our side throughout our adventure. We traveled in style in our private, comfortable 4x4 jeep with cushions on the seats, and cold beverages ready whenever we wanted. Everything was handled for us and we didn’t have a care in the world.
The highlights of our safari were countless, but some of the most unforgettable moments included witnessing a rare black rhino crossing right in front of us in Ngorongoro Crater, getting up close and personal with majestic male lions, spotting a mother cheetah with her adorable cubs, seeing a sleek leopard with a fresh kill in a tree, and marveling at the sheer numbers of zebra, wildebeest, and elephants. The Serengeti sunrise balloon ride arranged by Lion King Adventures was a breathtaking experience that left us in awe. We floated low directly over a beautiful giraffe, which was the most surreal experience of a lifetime!
We visited Tarangire, spent two unforgettable days in Serengeti National Park, and explored the stunning Ndutu region. Our luxury-level lodges and tented camps were exceptional, providing the perfect blend of comfort, amenities, and immersive wilderness experiences.
After our safari adventure, Lion King Adventures arranged our flights to Zanzibar, where we indulged in five blissful nights of relaxation at a beautiful all-inclusive beach resort. The perfect way to unwind and recharge after our action-packed safari. Everything was first class at our resort and we felt very pampered in the beautiful setting.
In summary, our experience with Lion King Adventures was nothing short of phenomenal. Their expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to providing unforgettable experiences made our Tanzanian adventure truly special. Experience East Africa at Its Best!
I feel incredibly privileged to have had my first trip to Africa curated by Moses and his wonderful team of guides. From the plains of the Serengeti to the vibrant streets of Kigali and the indescribable beauty of the Ugandan countryside, I was fully able to experience the wide breadth of wonders that travel to East Africa offers. Moses seamlessly helped with transportation, acquiring visas, and was incredibly patient and flexible with changing plans to fit the group interests. His knowledge of the national parks, the wildlife, the history of the three countries I visited is very impressive. But it’s really his passion for his work as a guide, desire and ability to show all that is special about this part of the world, and his sense of humor that really made this trip a once in a lifetime adventure.

Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Bliss: A Seamless Adventure with Semu Gorilla Safaris!
I just returned from an incredible 1-day gorilla trekking adventure from Kigali to Bwindi! Despite booking on short notice, Edison from Semu Gorilla Safaris went above and beyond to ensure a seamless experience.
The 4-5 hour drive through scenic hills and countryside was breathtaking. My guide was extremely friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, sharing valuable insights about Rwanda and Uganda's history, culture, and wildlife.
The highlight of my trip was witnessing majestic mountain gorillas up close - an awe-inspiring experience! I spent an hour observing these gentle giants interact, play, and forage for food.

My dad and I spent great two weeks with Gifty and her team. She showed us all the different sides of Tanzanian Life:
Our home ground hotel was excellent, very new with wonderful service.
For activities, we started hiking at Mt Kilimanjaro and got to know a coffee plantation. Kevin, our driving guide, and Evans, our tour guide, were great as well. They told us all we wanted to know and explained everything.
We spent days 2 to 4 on Safari. Mshele TA chose great places and provided a private driving experience. Thanks to Sofiane, we got to see all important animals, trees and plants. Especially the Big 5. We even saw a leopard on a tree. While travelling between National Parks, Gifty even provided a spontaneous visit with some Massai!
Days 6 to 8 were dedicated to local Church life with visits at the parish, where we learned all about their traditions. Even the Bishop took the time to get to know us. Thank you, Gifty!
Afterwards we travelled to Zanzibar, where we had another beautiful hotel to stay at, went on some snorkeling and scuba diving boat trip as well as relaxation and strolling through Stonetown.
Our trip to Zanzibar was the trip of our lifetime. We enjoyed every second and will be back for sure!
Mshele TA is a new organization, but they are very well connected and provide great service. The communication is very open and responsive. We think our money was very well invested in their services. You won’t regret choosing them!
