Review about Chobe National Park by Cesar
Overall rating
5/5

River safaris are something unique you can enjoy here and in Okavango Delta. Approaches to wild animals could be very close and dawn in Chobe river provide amazing colors.

A precious experience!
5/5

The Safari tour with Afrishare was one of the most memorable experience for me. I went to 3 days Safari tour in May with my friend. Although we booked the tour a week before departure, Ibrah, the owner of this wonderful organisation, arranged the accommodations, a driver etc. perfectly for us. We stayed at Afrishare's volunteer house on the day we arrived at Moshi and the day we got back from Safaris. They provided us a nice room as well as great meals. In the tour, we visited three National Parks: Lake Manyara; Ngorongoro; and Tarangire. Each of the parks gives you different impressions, and you will not get bored at all! Our driver took care of us all the time in spite of long drive, and he taught us many things about the Maasai cultures, wild animals and so on. We stayed at a lodge near Safari which was also comfortable with delicious meals.
Afrishare gave us an amazing experience with surprisingly cheap price and I would definitely recommend Afrishare for all the people seeking to visit Tanzania for Safaris!

An unforgettable journey. In one word: Awesome!
5/5

It was memorable and we are confident that we will go back. We greatly enjoyed the Drakensberg , the many animals that we saw ( zebras , giraffes , antelopes , the " cats " including lions, elephants , wild dogs , whales , dolphins, turtles , etc. ) And the very friendly locals. Tailor Made Safaris planned a wonderful trip for us by listening to our needs and delivering what we asked for. The three and a half week trip provided a variety of activities and adventures and also a chance to relax. The Mozambique and Swaziland extensions, each for a few days were very nice. The accommodations was very good (luxury bed and breakfasts to beautiful luxury tents). We found it very helpful that Geert and Freya were continuously accessible and worked ceaselessly to please us. An unforgettable journey. In one word: Awesome! Thanks a lot for everything and see you soon!

unexpected good experiences
5/5

We are a French family and four years ago, my husband and I wanted to go on a trip to Kenya with our 3 children; 6/12/15 years old.
We decided to contact about a dozen of African tour guides and we sent them our tour plan. When we received their answers it was easy for us to choose Isaac.
Before meeting him in Africa we only sent few emails to each other and we trust him right away .So we planned together a nice tour in Kenya for a fortnight.
Isaac asked us what we most wished to see in Kenya and he asks for our likes. He took particularly care of our young daughter and he considered carefully our expectations and our limited budget.

During our tour, he was very helpful and he showed us a lot of things and he was full of surprises during the day as at night....
For example, when we discovered for the first time Kakamega Forest or Masai Mara we had a FANTASTIC ADVENTURE.
He was very skilful, he could see animals from a long distance or even if they were hiding in the jungle and he could spot their presence from their smell or their tracks.
He shared with us his knowledge of many animals life’s like birds, mammals, insects etc...
We also admire his commitment to the presentation of natural environment; we like his engagement with local communities to inform them about pollution risks. He is always trying to find a pacific solution to protect nature from intensive farming.

We also share some fabulous moments with many different African people: for example we played a volleyball match with a group of African teenagers, we went to African hairdressers with my daughter, we visited a nice young couple and their new baby at their little house made of cow dung, we visited rice and tea cooperatives and we especially enjoyed the walk and the safari with Masai community.

In conclusion, we were happy to be guided by him and we recommend him to anyone who wishes to visit Kenya or other countries.
Isaac is more than a fantastic and creative and engaged tour guide, he became a friend of all my family and he helped us to give a new sense to our life:
My son Yann, 19 years old, is studying class to become a veterinary in Africa. ...Good way for him...
My son Alexis, 16 years old, is opening his mind and he wishes to find a job that allows him to travel around the world.
My daughter Lylou, 10 years old, hopes to see Isaac again.
My husband discovered a new way of building houses.
And I enjoyed creating my photo book of that wonderful life experience and I always dream of discovering different parts of the world with my husband, my family and Isaac.

very personal service

I arranged a tour to Lake Naivasha through Kenya Walking Survivor's Safaris. I was the only person on the tour this day and the company was very helpful in arranging it to suit my interests and needs. I highly recommend including the optional hippo boat trip on the lake. We saw dozens of hippos, as well as birds, zebras, and giraffes. Unfortunately, we weren't able to walk with the animals at the crater due to buffalo in the area, but the hike was still beautiful! Overall it was a great tour by a friendly and accommodating company!

Lifechanging experience for me
5/5

I remember the moment like it was yesterday. The dark dark clouds were moving fast towards us, the Gazelles new what was coming, thousands of them were infront of us, preparing for the coming rain. We stepped out of the car and walk out into the tall grass. The rain dropps started to trickle down, I took off my shirt to feel the sensation over my skin. The grass tickled by legs, all my senses increased, I felt the smell from the earth being dug up by the heavy raindrops. I watch the gazelles, not through binocoulars, but though feeling.
I had returned to the land were we humans come from, and found the original feeling of what it means to be human, feeling fully alive.

The first time I went on a safari (which means journey in Swahili), my life changed. I've been with Isaac and Ecobushman on several safaris after that. The safaris opened up my eyes to the incredible beuty of the world. Discovering how tradional people in east africa still relate to the natural world inspiered me beyond what I thought was possible.
Isaac is a very knowledgable person, who has alot to share, but being a true guide he helped me to experience the wilderness directly rather than sharing just knowledge about it.
This is not a normal tourist safari, Isaac deeply cares for the natural world and his african people, aswell as for his clients, or friends I should say.

Later I have lived in East Africa for a year, and have seen many other safaris and safari guides. None of the other safaris I've been to or meet is anything like this.

I am deeply thankfull for this experience, journey, safari or whatever you want to call it. My only whish is that my children will also get to have such an experience in their lifetime.

Thank you Isaac and Ecobushman

Safari Extra-ordinaire!
5/5

As a child growing up in the UK I had always loved VW camper vans but never had the opportunity to ride in one, who knew that would all change in Uganda! Murchison Falls will never be the same after viewing the park and animals from the top of a VW Kombi - aka The Dude! We encountered a few issues with flood waters rising, but the driver was able and committed to ensuring the Dude and my group of friends got out before we got stranded in the park overnight! This safari trip has by far topped my list - with great memories and pictures had - an adventure never to be forgotten! Thank you Kombi Tours for your professionalism, thirst for adventure and most of all a great VW Kombi experience - until next time! :)

Great and professional experience
5/5

I had a great camping safari with AAA Express Adventure last fall. This was my first time in Tanzania and I was exploring the options for our customers. AAA Express Adventure was very professional and well organized. Always on time, they did not miss a beat. The guide and the cook were incredible and really made the trip worthwhile. I would highly recommend this organization for any of your tours.

Masai mara,Lake Nakuru,Amboseli & Tsavo West in 6 days
5/5

My Girlfriend and I booked the kenya safari 6-day package starting in Nairobi. All of the accommodation was amazing we opted for the luxury accommodation, which on price point of view was definitely worth it), KIMI (our driver) was excellent ... but more amazingly (for Africa) we managed to get in a really tight schedule without almost any major problems. We had alot of driving to do, on average we were driving for 6 hours a day which includes the 2 hour game drives. We were really lucky and had the safari car to ourselves, so we chose pit stops and duration of game drives etc. This was a major plus point. Also the car was a well kitted out 2 year old Land cruiser.

Watching the animals in their natural habitat was amazing, a truly mesmerizing experience. At one of the camps we were met by a family of Giraffes, which after 6 hour bumpy drive made it all so worth it. We got to see Rhinos, Hippos, Crocs, Lions, more Lions, Loads of Elephants, Giraffes, Jackals, Cheetahs Wildebeest, Water Buffalo, Impalas etc. Our Driver/Tour guide was really knowledgeable and knew his animals. We have seen enough Attenborough series to know the basics, he answered all our questions relating to the animals and their habitats. Also he was a safe efficient driver and knew the roads very well. Even stopping off for some colds beers on route. He was a charming guy and we exchanged cultural experiences with each other and soon become a partner on our adventure. We made sure we left him with a decent tip (avg. $10 per day). These guys really rely on the tips.

Communication with Natural World was excellent, Humphrey the owner really went out of his way to make our whole stay in Kenya that so much more enjoyable even with the UK Government restrictions, he worked us around the advisories and assisted us making changes to our last leg of stay (although he didnt have to).
