Amazing Well Planned Photo Safari
5/5

My safari at Phinda was truly life changing for me. It was my first time in Africa and I was there on business and I only had a few days to spend on a game reserve. I chose Roho Ya Chui because of their great reputation and their attention to detail. Ute Sonnenberg organized everything and left nothing to chance. The accommodations were excellent. Food was top notch. I am a photographer and this was my first photo safari. Ute was very helpful in making sure I was prepared with all the right gear. I got spectacular images and had an equally spectacular experience. I hope to return soon with my family, so they can experience Africa with Roho Ya Chui too!

Amazing experience start to finish, very well-run operation
5/5

My husband and I did a private Northern circuit safari with Eastern Sun last December. We had a truly amazing experience and would book with Eastern Sun again in a heart beat! Mercy, who runs the office is a great communicator and was very understanding and helpful when we had to reschedule our tour last minute because of surgery my husband needed. She was also quickly and patiently answered all of my questions about the tour and different parks. Our guide, Arib, was fantastic! One of the kinder men I've ever met, he was also incredibly knowledgable about the animals and parks and had a great sense of humor and way about him. These are important qualities for someone you'll be spending 7 days straight with to possess! The tour itself was perfect — we saw the big five and many more, experienced part of the wildebeast migration and loved all of the accommodations provided. The meals were also much better than we had expected and the tour was sensitive to some dietary restrictions I have. Overall it completely exceeded our expectations and was an A+ experience!

A Fabulous Experience Expertly Managed!
5/5

We just recently returned from a memorable and trouble-free 16 day safari in Tanzania. Grace helped us plan a custom private safari, according to our "discerning" requests. She nailed it! We loved Albert, our guide, for his expertise and warm charm. The diversity of well-appointed, comfy tent camps and gorgeous lodges made it a pleasure. And of course, the parks of Tanzania speak for themselves. We felt cared for and secure, well fed and just delighted!

Zikomo provides a prime S Luangwa wilderness experience in a comfortable camp at reasonable rates
5/5

Bordering on the S Luangwa NP on 2 sides and far from other resorts Zikomo is as wild as it can get without being in the park itself. This brings Luangwa within the budget of southern Africans. Coupled with Demian Wallace 's knowledge of the local area and the people he knows makes Zikomo a prime place to visit. The restaurant lounge and swimming pool overlook the river. Demian offers day, evening and night game drives. I strongly recommend Zikomo for a wilderness experience.

Safari to Ngorongoro
4/5

My friend and i went on a Safari to the Ngorongoro crater, we saw beautiful scenery and many animals. It was an unforgettable trip, we felt like being in the garden of Eden. Transport was good, although road was very bumpy. Food provided was OK, not much. The driver/guide not very communicative, we had to ask him about animals, otherwise he would not say much. The rest OK.

Eastern Sun is extremely professional and prompt. Excellent and educated guide, family friendly!
5/5

Eastern Sun was by far the most reposnsive safari company that I queried prior to making a decision. Thery were by far the most reposnsive. They continued to work with me through many iterations and changes based on what we wanted to see. Eastern Sun never pushed towards a particular accomodation and always provided the pros and cons with all options. There are so many options when building a safari itinerary and it is really about personal preference. Eastern Sun helped provide the level of detail we needed to build a perfect safari.

Unpon arriving to Tanzania the guide met us promptly and was extremely friendly. We had our 12 year old daughter. The sfari guide immediately bonded with our daughter to make her feel safe and get her really excited for the adventure. We had a pre safari briefing that allowed us the opportunity to plan our days and ask many questions. Eastern Sun did a great job building in safari driving, cultural excursions, and some flexible time to make changes on the go if requested.

Our guide was completely engaged throughout the 10 days. He had in depth knowledge of every park, animal, bird, culture, etc. The service and food were also wonderful. I cannot say enough about our wonderful guide and the experience. Eastern Sun management also met us at the end of our safari to make sure everything was performed to our expectations. They made sure we had all the documentation needed and saw us off to our return flights.

Eastern Sun did a wonderful job exceeding our high expectations!

Outstanding Safari Experience
5/5

What can I say? Shadows of Africa knocked it out of the ballpark. Even though I was booked into the "standard" package, most of the amenities and camps would fall into the luxury category IMHO. Our guide Timo really knew his stuff providing info such as life span, mating habits, predators, average height and weight and even unique anecdotes about everything from the smallest bird to biggest of the Big 5. He's a great animal spotter too -- there were times when we were scratching our heads thinking, "How did he manage to see THAT?"
Owner Natasha checked in daily via phone to make sure we were happy. Overall 10 out of 10. Would definitely book with them again.

A Fantastic journey-Serengeti Migration
5/5

A dream of me and my husband, both photo enthusiasts, was to go to Tanzania's Serengeti National Park, to experience the Serengeti migration and to make some good pictures.
We knew that over a million animals participate in the Serengeti Migration. So without experienced guides it would be rather impossible to cover it in 2 weeks time.
Ute Sonnenberg of Roho Ya Chui is such an experienced guide. With her help, tips and advice this adventure became an experience for life.
