Our one-day safari adventure in Akagera National Park was an absolute delight. Frank at Golden Rwanda is an incredible person to work with - everything from planning, communicating, service, and ESPECIALLY reliability/trustworthiness is notch, FIVE STAR quality. He provided guidance when needed and knew anything and everything about all the fun and experiences to have in Rwanda, but also attended to every single thing and idea we wanted as well. He realllllllly worked with us and we were fairly specific with all of the things we wanted to - he handled everything with ease and made everything possible. Jean Claude was our guide and he was PERFECT!!!! Great knowledge, soooo well spoken, and extremely creative and attentive. If we wanted to change the schedule, he gladly did and accommodated any new on-the-whim ideas we had. Frank truly went above and beyond for our family and you can tell when someone is a good person - and Frank is a truly soul-to-Earth good human - he did a lot more for our family than this review will give us space to write. He knew how much we dreamed of seeing the gorrillas and did far more than anyone else ever would to help us on our journey. We consider Jean Claude and Frank family and plan to be back for a Round 2 of Rwanda as soon as we can.

Our tour guide was excellent!
You won’t find a better tour company. Our tour guide (Mugisha) was the best! The service was outstanding. We went on the gorilla trek and Mugisha was with us every step of the way making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and amazing experience. Fast and efficient booking followed by a fantastic first experience in Rwanda.
I (36 year old female from the US) had a great solo trip to Rwanda with Abu as my guide. On the booking side, Frank was professional, knowledgeable, and prompt in assisting me with proposing itineraries and helping me book my gorilla trekking and golden monkey safari. Prices were significantly lower than what I had been quoted elsewhere for the same itinerary using the same hotel. They organized my stay at the 5 Volcanos Boutique Hotel and my stay was very comfortable and the food was great. Abu was a knowledgeable and personable guide and I enjoyed his company for my 5 day trip. During the whole trip, I completely trusted my guide and outfitter and felt completely safe and looked after. My overall experience was fantastic and I would happily book future travels with them again!

We had a fabulous safari in Akagera with Jean Claude. We felt like VIPs having a guide to ourselves, and he took care of us very well with regular comfort breaks and an excellent breakfast and lunch. Jean Claude kept in contact with other guides to help locate the animals which meant our safari was incredibly successful and we took some fantastic pictures and videos. He was also very friendly and knowledgable. We thoroughly recommend Golden Rwanda Safaris
