Unprofessional and overall bad services
1/5

I can't say I got value for money. Because I paid for a tour to the Mara for July for 3 adults 2 kids but got a family funeral which made me postpone...I communicated and the lady "Mary" told me she would communicate with the hotel. I reached out when my schedule opened up in November and Mary gave me a date...only to arrive in the hotel and apparently they didn't have a booking for us. And then we were kept starving with kids in the cold and in the dark coz apparently no payment was made. So we were abandoned by the travel agency and made to pay for the rooms ourselves so that the generator can be switched on and the food be made. Even after making payment to the Agent in full.
Use them at your own risk.

Honest, on point, dedicated and friendly!
5/5

My girlfriend and I recently had an unforgettable safari experience that far exceeded our expectations.

We were fortunate enough to see every animal we had hoped for, making this one of the most remarkable adventures of my life.

Our guides, Darnford and Saloniki, were incredibly dedicated, going above and beyond to ensure our experience was exceptional.

Their passion and effort truly made the journey special. Without a doubt, this won’t be our last visit.

Thank you so much for such an incredible experience!

Exceptional
5/5

Southbound Tours did an unique and diverse itinerary in Namibia for a group of 10 people. The service provided was very good and reliable. Moreover, it was very easy to communicate with Marco and everyone involved before and during the trip. Our transfers, flights and accommodations were well prepared upon our arrival and we had no issues (always on time). I would say that it was a very good value for money for the type of trip that we had as a group. Marco was even able to help me getting my drone permit to be used during the trip (however, there are very limited places to use it). Only improvement to be appointed is the safaris in Etosha (there is a need for better cars and different hours, not in the peak of the heat). Besides that, I would love to book another trip through Southbound Tours.

Outstanding in all ways
5/5

We did Astralken's 18 day budget safari for two people. The wide range of locations from the North to the Tanzania border allowed us to experience a broader range of Eco systems, animals, cultures and topography. It included less visited locations while still visiting the more famous parks. Did you know that there are zebras and giraffes in the north with different markings than those in other parts of Kenya? We visited Riff lakes, waterfalls, rivers with hippos and crocodiles, watched hippos coming on shore after dark to eat, from our veranda and saw an incredible range of animals. A high point was visiting a group of nomads in the North who build no shelters and speak no Swahili.

What really made this trip so fantastic were the Australken people.

Zippy managed all communication before and during the trip responding quickly and following up almost daily asking for our feedback. Of course she set the fantastic itinerary with unique places and experiences that made the trip. She met us at the airport when we arrived and took us to the airport when we left.

Moses was our guide and driver. He was a calm and very safe driver in a land of dangerous drivers and roads! He was an uncanny wildlife spotter with full knowledge of the local habitats and animals in each of the diverse areas we visited. He enjoyed every day of the trip, always up.

John was our cook providing good meals. He was always upbeat, quick to laugh (even at my jokes) and added to our trip in so many ways.

Moses and John made this a very happy experience, beyond just a standard game drive. We were all sad when they dropped us at the hotel at the end of the trip.

We can't imagine having a better safari than we experienced with Zippy and Australken!

PS: WE are in our upper 70s and had no problems, you can do it too!

Words special words to explain how professional this company is....
5/5

We wish we could have more words to explain.
We were on a safari with Mr Michael as our guide even if i dont have experience with another guide to compare but am sure he is the one of the best guide in Tanzania.
He is very professional and speaks both fluent english language and french language, he got eagle eyes to see even the hidding animals from miles away and he always use a binocular just to confirm and he never wrong.
He is calm, friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about animals behaviour and his culture.
We saw each and every wild animals and the highlight was the Ngorongoro Crater with its beautiful highlands and so many animals just in one place inside the Caldera.

We can definitely recommend Meijo Safaris and Michael as a Guide.

Madagascar Natural Tours are professional, reliable, friendly, knowledgeable, good value for money
5/5

We really enjoyed our tour with Madagascar Natural Tours. We spent about four weeks touring the island with Harilala. Many of roads are in poor condition but we were always advised ahead of the journey. The slow travel meant that we could see life happening in the towns and villages as we passed. Harilala is very knowledgeable about his country, the people and wild life. We learned a lot about culture and history from him.

His choice and organisation of accommodation, route and sights was very good and met our expectations.

He is also a pioneer in environmental restoration and protection and we have a lot of respect for him.

We would be very happy to recommend him for your tour.

Well rounded adventure
5/5

What an amazing experience for us first-timers.
Absolutely incredible sights, adventures, information, guides, team and human beings trying their absolute best to cover all our needs and wants. Even after unfortunately getting stuck in mud, the mood and attention to us was top notch.

We were made to feel comfortable, we were recommended great accomodation and we were exceptionally well treated by everyone.

Amazing experience! Thabk you Richard, Brian (Mufasa) and the team!
5/5

Our experience with Super Eagles couldn't have been better. We took the 3 day Amboseli tour and from the get go it was really special.

We were greeted by a driver Gilbert who took us to headquarters to meet Richard, who received us with a big smile. Then we met the our guide for the three days: Brian aka Mufasa.

Put experience during the tirpnwas great. Mufasa was insightful and very helpful even when we got stuck in mud just outside Amboseli on our Full game drive. He was always smiling, calm and cheerful. During our stay at Amboseli we stayed at Nyati camp and our experience there was beautiful. Located just on the foot of the Kilimanjaro, every day we woke up admiring the views and enjoying the animals during our drives.

On our last day, one of our group celebrated her birthday and we were greeted back at headquarters with a big cake and dancing by all the staff. It was truly special and we all appreciated the effort everyone put into the event. Thabk you all!

I truly recommend Super Eagles! I would definitely choose them again whenever we go back to Kenya.

Wow! Incredible experience in Kenya with Adventure 360!
5/5

Thank you Charity and George!
What an amazing experience!
We had the opportunity to go touring with Adventure 360 and it couldn't have been better.

When I was looking for tour operators for my trip to Kenya with my family, I found Adventure 360 as the best in the business. The warmth and kindness from Charity was great. She was so accommodating to what we as a family wanted to do.

We spent 3 full days with Charity and George and we were totally blown away by how professional and kind they were. We went to Nairobi ntl park, elephant sanctuary and Giraffe center for our first day. Hiked mount longonot for our second and stayed at Sopa Lodge (totally worth every penny) and Hell's Gate and Naivasha lake on our last day.

From start to finish, our whole experience was incredible. Truly recommend it! Please choose them as your operator when you go to Kenya. I for sure will.

About: Tanzania
Absolutely amazing for wildlife
Overall rating
5/5

I have recently returned from the holiday of a lifetime. What an experience - the Serengeti surpassed all expectations. I was amazed at how close the animals - especially the big cats - came to our vehicle, walking in between cars and even sitting on the spare wheels. I had time to compose my photographs as all animals just carry on as ‘normal’ - they don't run away as soon as a car stops. Each day was the best day - even if you see the ‘same’ animals, they’ll be doing something different. The weather was pleasantly hot but not humid and I think October was the perfect time to visit as it’s not peak season and therefore not too crowded.
We visited Tarangire and Manyara parks too - both fascinating in their own way - the former for the vast amount of elephants and the latter for its baboons. The area around Lake Natron was very hot - but if you’re going for the flamingos, make sure you visit at the right time! We didnt! The Ngorongoro crater was stunning too - and luckily we did see flamingos there!
I was interested in visiting some villages and tribes but sceptical about how genuine they are. The emphasis was definitely on selling their trinkets over sharing their culture.
Don’t worry about spending a fortune on ‘khaki’ clothes - as you won’t be getting out of your vehicle you don't need to be camouflaged. But I wouldn’t wear overly bright clothes.
All in all a wonderful destination for animals.
