Review about Zimbabwe by oceansteward
We would have rated Zimbabwe higher if we hadn't just come from a 5 star experience at three separate camps in Botswana. Also we thought Victoria Falls was overrated. We scheduled two days there - one would have been enough. Flying over the falls on our way back to Victoria Falls airport from Mana Pools was breathtaking - much better than seeing the Falls on the ground.

Review about Ngorongoro Crater by club60
A fantastic ecosystem to explore. You would think that the wildlife would be content to remain in the Crater but they make nightly visits to the Serena Lodge which is perched right on the Crater rim.

Vast pieces of neverending nature with lots of animals and a lot of local people to tell you all about nature.

Review about Tarangire National Park by club60
Our last park and one where the wildlife was more elusive. Perhaps because it was drier. The wildlife surrounding the Sopa Lodge were elephants and WaterBuck primarily and could be easily spotted.

It was our first stop so memorable for that. The elephants and flamingos are standouts here.

Review about Ngorongoro Crater by Mark
Ngorongoro has a huge number of wild animals within a fairly small space.
Review about Botswana by Di G.
Although we found Botswana beautiful, it did not have the typical majestic beauty many people assume is present throught Africa. There were no giant mountains or lakes, just simple unadulterated lovely wilderness.

Amazing wildlife
We were very lucky with the animals we saw, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, elephants, hippos, crocodiles, vervet monkeys, baboons, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, and flamingos, huge numbers of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, and many others. Our guide was very good, and our cook prepared surprisingly good food for us. The tents in which we camped were fine, but the bathrooms at the campsites were disgusting.

Review about Botswana by bianca
In my oppinion Botswana offers some of the best wildlife viewing and birdwatching in Africa, combined with friendly people, knowledgable guides and comfortable accommodation in various price classes.
Review about Botswana by Amit
Botswana is very developed in terms of facilities and wildlife viewing. They are very ecologically conservationists and have taken great care of their parks.
