African Pathfinder Safaris
4/5

I have used Africa Pathfinder Safaris twice....in 2007 and 2011. On both occasions Patrick was very professional, helpful and friendly. I would certainly recommend him to anyone thinking of visiting this beautiful country.

Great safari at Amboseli Natural Park with African Flash Mc Tours
5/5

I contacted African Flash Mc Tours because I wanted to visit Amboseli National Park. They had not the package that I was intrested in, but I presented to African Flash Mc Tours what I was intrested in and with no problems they arranged a safari for me the way I wish to have it.

The experince of the safari was wonderful, because we had a great tour guide with lot of knowledge and was kind. He was very good at spotting animals even though you barely could see them and that he did while he drove. Our tour guide was genuine intrested in animals with lot of knowledge, so that made the experience so much better because you learned much more. Also at same time he had great respect for the animal, he didnĀ“'t drive to close so that it would stress animal and instead we where there on the term of the species living there.
That I think was one of the greatest experience, since then you get a chance to see animal relaxed and behaving natural in their own area. He was also a excellent driver that made the journey feel comfortable.

After we where back to Amboseli, the manager called us and see if we enjoyed our journey. That feelt genuine and friendly, and made me really want to use their service for a Safari.

South Africa #SpringBreak
4/5

On a whim we decided to take a Spring Break. With less than 4 weeks to plan a group of 4 of us got on a flight to Johannesburg not knowing what exactly to expect when we landed. We couldn't have been more thrilled with our experience with Wild Planet Safari and our guide Ryan. Ryan picked us up right at the airport, drove us to Kruger Park while allowing us multiple stops along the drive to enjoy the country side. We did a 2 night 3 day Safari in Kruger. Over the course of 3 days Ryan enlightened us with so much information that we couldn't believe it. From how to track the animals to information about how they feed or interact with other animals Ryan knew it all. He was also extremely calm in all situations. For example one morning we had an elephant trying to charge the car. Ryan knew exactly what to do to keep us out of harms way. In just 3 days we saw 4 of the big 5! In addition to Ryan's knowledge of Kruger he is also quite the chef. He helped prepare three amazing meals a day even bringing veggies hand picked from his own garden. We got on a plane not knowing what to expect and we walked away with unforgettable memories.

Miles better than airport hotel
Overall rating
4/5

We arrived here at the lodge 90 minutes after landing with dinner waiting at 2300. Next morning at 0600 we were on our first game drive. The ranger was excellent and vechicles comfortable. In 2 drives and a walk we saw 51 birds and 17 mammals including lion with the city as a back drop!!!!

The lodge was comfortable and the food was excellent

Great way to start a trip

The peace and tranquility of watching the elephants wander past
Overall rating
5/5

It was our first safari, and we were thrilled with the sight of the elephants and the beautiful scenery. It was a wonderful experience. Our guide with Transtrek Safaris was very knowledgeable and the Lodge they organised for us was first class with lovely and varied food. There was a lot of other wildlife to see as well, and in December we did not find it too hot.

Mala Mala, Superb accommodation, superb wildlife sightings
Overall rating
5/5

It's always difficult to know just how lucky with wildlife sighting you've been on a trip when compared to those who've come before you but on this occasion we must have been very lucky indeed! As a location for leopards Mala Mala is unrivalled in our experience and we've visited a large part of Africa over the years. The accommodation was excellent as was the food and general service. As very keen wildlife photographers we are always reliant on the expertise of the local rangers, we never have enough time anywhere we go and need the rangers to get us to the optimum locations for photography. They know their area whereas we don't and in this respect they are an invaluable source of the local information every photographer needs. Mala Mala has some of the best rangers we have come across and hopefully our photographs did them justice. We would have no hesitation in recommending Mala Mala as a safari destination not just for leopards but for game photography in general including significant numbers of birds.
