Tam and Alex were awesome and ensured we had a better time in Africa than we could ever dream of.
My son and I travelled to Africa going to Kingspool(linyanti) and Khwai camps via Maun. This was not my first trip to Africa but it was my sons and no stone was left unturned in ensuring we had the trip of a lifetime and the care and the focus by remarkable-africa was to make sure your my son was safe and consistently enthralled with new experiences every day. He has now fallen inlove with Africa and i am sure we will return and will only look at one company for our travel plans. Remarkable-Africa (especially Tam and Alex) are incredible to deal with and make your feel like your needs and desires are as important to them as their own.

Review about Serengeti National Park by Tourist from S.F.
We went all over, and saw everything: birth, death, mating...I can't say enough about what a fantastic experience.

Review about Ngorongoro Crater by Tourist from S.F.
Like being in a huge zoo without walls. The animals were fearless, so much less shy, and easy to see.

To see elephants in Tanzania, go here
We saw lionesses hunting, and other fun wildlife, but the most spectacular was the day we were surrounded by elephants on all four sides of our safari vehicle, en route to the river. This didn't happen anywhere else, and it was the best day of our trip, including more famous national parks. We also loved just sitting overlooking the water watching the elephants playing. The density of the elephant population made this a wonderful visit.
We stayed in Boundary Hill Lodge, in the Conservation Area, and it was our favorite lodging of the trip. Spectacular place to stay to visit Tarangire. The weather was no different than in Ngorongoro Crater or the Serengeti. The scenery was much less our focus here, though. However, the baobabs are unbelievable, too.

The Great Migration in the Masai Mara
A friend and I went to the Masai Mara for two days during the Great Migration. We booked a tour with Ket Safaris out of Nairobi. Our driver, Henry, picked us up at our hotel in Nairobi and drove us to our accommodation, which was a luxury tented camp. We saw plenty of wildlife, particularly wildebeest and zebra. All our guides were excellent. Definitely go during Migration if at all possible. Also, we booked a van instead of paying a little extra for a 4X4. If cost is not a significant issue for you, I highly suggest a 4X4 because the vans they use in the area don't have air con, and you are on very rough, dirt roads for the last two hours into the Mara. It can get quite uncomfortable.

Best wildlife viewing in all of Africa!
I am a Professor of Tourism who lived in Botswana for over a year. As part of my teaching, research and personal interests I have travelled to more than a dozen countries throughout Africa. I can say with complete confidence, the BEST wildlife viewing is in Chobe. The best time to come is in the winter (May-August) because it is dry and the animals crowd around the watering holes. Be sure to take a game drive AND the boat cruise. Chobe has the greatest concentration of elephants in the world- roughly 70,000, so you are guaranteed to see plenty. If you into town yourself be careful, drive slowly, and try not to drive at night because you will see elephants along the road (sometimes in the middle of the road) all the time. They are very difficult to see at night, so it is recommended not to do it, or if absolutely necessary, drive very slooooooooooowly. After travelling to more than 50 countries, Chobe is my absolute favorite place. I have been there at least 10 times because I insist on taking all my visitors there. Not to be missed!

Animal sightings were tremendous - Gemsbok. Not crammed with people, rolling thunderous storm that hit the plains - incredible.

The Falls were full of water and exploding over the cliffs.

I was touring KNP park with a safari company from Hoedspruit, SA. The KNP employees I encountered were dressed in a professional manner and were very courteous. The transportation was in an open vehicle which enabled multiple views for picture taking. The weather was over cast on this trip but I have been to KNP several times and every trip is unique. I have witnessed many animal encounters to include the BIG 5, plains games & the infamous wild dogs. Birding is phenomenal even had sightings of the Gound Horn Bill.
If you want an experience that alters your life try South Africa, because after that experience nothing else has ever been the same.
