wonderful experience
We are still here in Tanzania and already miss it! It was my first safari experience and it couldn’t be better! Our guide was always kind and available to our needs.
The “Games” are terrific! Also the night game is a must do experience! I highly suggest this tour operator, also because all the accommodations are very good and comfortable! Can’t wait to do it again! Alessandra

Excellent mid-range tour taking in many of Tanzania's highlights
This was our first multi-day safari and we were really pleased with the quality and value for money.
The itinerary was quite full. We covered four parks in 5 days. We really valued having 2 consecutive nights in the Serengeti so we could 'settle in' there. Anyone looking for a more relaxed pace could customise the itinerary to cover fewer parks or take more time, but this itinerary worked for us. The four parks were all very different and we had amazing experiences in all of them.
Msangai's communications were good. They respond quickly, including after you've committed to paying!
Our driver/guide, James, was knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed his company and he was able to help us get close to a great selection of animals.
The lodges were all good quality. In one we were the only guests, which was a little strange, but not the fault of the tour operator. Food was good and varied, catering to the one of us that was vegetarian. The lodge in the Serengeti was inside the park and unfenced so some (non deadly) wildlife came right up to our door.

Urban was absolutely amazing.
I have traveled all over the world and I have yet to experience the hospitality that was rendered with love, detail and extreme compassion as it was with Trots & Safari Uganda. As a result I cannot wait until the next time!

Exceptional service, expert guides, and unforgettable wildlife encounters!
Our safari with Pavillion Safaris and Tours was exceptional! The team was professional, and our guide’s expertise and enthusiasm made the experience unforgettable. The accommodations were comfortable, the food was excellent, and every detail was well-organized.
We saw incredible wildlife, including lions and elephants, all in their natural habitats, making this a truly once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Highly recommend Pavillion Safaris and Tours for a perfect safari trip!

Amazing safari experience with knowledgable staff/guide!
Our safari with Tanzania Choice Safaris was spectacular. Prior to the trip, Brenda was incredibly helpful in tailoring our itinerary to maximize our experience and ensure she understood our goals/interests. Our guide, Leslie, was incredible: he was extremely knowledgable, experienced, professional, thoughtful, kind, and enjoyable to spend time with (which is very important for a 4 day trip!). Our experience in Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area was excellent, and we saw all wildlife that we were hoping to (largely due to Leslie's knowledge of the parks and the animals behaviors/habits). We also enjoyed our time exploring local shops, the Cultural Heritage Center, and the Maasai Markets. Overall, this was a trip to remember, and I will certainly recommend Tanzania Choice Safaris to all friends/family. Thanks Brenda and Leslie!

Pavillon Safaris and Tours is a professional and reliable tour operator.
I had an amazing experience with Pavillon Safaris and Tours during a 7-day safari in Kenya’s national parks. The trip was expertly organized, and I felt well taken care of from start to finish. Our guide was highly competent and communicative, always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying our time. He helped us spot wildlife and shared fascinating facts about the animals and nature, which made the experience even more memorable.
The itinerary was well-planned, packed with exciting activities and opportunities to explore the diverse landscapes and wildlife of Kenya. Every day was filled with new adventures, and I felt like I was truly immersed in the beauty of the Kenyan wilderness.
I had a fantastic time, and I highly recommend Pavillon Safari for anyone looking for an unforgettable safari experience in Kenya.
Fantastic
My wife and I had planned on taking our bucket list trip to Tanzania earlier but had to rebook due to first Covid and then when I had cancer return for the 4th time. Giltedge was kind enough to rebook us at the original price and keep the same luxury Elewana Lodges. Our contacts were Tamera Laine and Paula Nobre. They did a fantastic job of keeping us informed on all our preparations. Our trip to Tanzania was wonderful from the meet and greet at the airport to the final send off. We first stayed at the Arusha Coffee House best breakfast buffet ever, and lovely room and nice gardens. The first stop was Tarangire Treetops Lodge. We were treated like Royalty and the last night we were treated to a group of Maasi dancing and singing to us around a campfire and then presenting us a cake for our 53rd wedding anniversary. Our guide for the whole trip was Immanuel Jackson Muna and he did a fantastic job not only pointing out the big five animals but also the many birds that most of the visitors drove right by. At Tarangire we saw the great Elephant Migration, we had to wait for over 100 elephants to cross a road to get to their final destination at the water that is always in the park. We also saw lions kill two zebras and viewed many Giraffes and other animals. Be sure to take the night drive and the daylight walking tours where you not only see animals not active during the day but also learn about the African landscape. The second stop was at Lake Manyara National Park on the way to the Ngorongoro Crater. This used to be a salt water lake with a lot of flamingos but due to flooding it is now fresh water and the road around the lake was partially wiped out so you have to backtrack. You can still enjoy the baboons and white-faced monkeys and other animals. The crater drive was a lot longer than we expected. They limit the amount of vehicle traffic allowed in at one time and
the one way road in was long and slow. For being there during the off season we were surprised how busy it was. We did see all the animals we wanted, including the black rhino. Enjoy all the birds around the picnic areas. We stayed at the Manor at Ngorongoro Coffee Plantation where there were just a few other guests for the 2 nights we were there. Titus was a wonderful host and we enjoyed the gardens and the 5 course meals provided by Peter. I want to thank all the people involved in helping my wife when you fell, an accident, and had to be taken to the emergency room in the nearest town. She just had to have stitches and is doing fine. Our last stop was 4 nights at the Serengeti Pioneer Lodge. It was a tented camp with wonderful service. You had to be escorted morning and evenings to the dining areas because of all the animals going through the camp. We saw monkeys, gazelles and other animals up close. During breakfast one Morning we had a herd of 15 elephants feeding right below our table. The Serengeti is a huge area and you can drive and see so many different landscapes that hold various groups of animals, birds and lizards. Everyday we were able to see something different and unexpected. Again the service was excellent thanks to Big Fred and his staff. I would highly recommend booking with Giltedge for your dream trip to Tanzania.
