The park is being eaten alive by too many elephants.

Chief’s Island in the Okavango Delta is as good as it gets in a safari destination.
I just spent a week at Mombo Trails camp in Botswana. I am somewhat of an old hand at African destinations since I have travelled the continent from north to south and east to west over 5 decades. However, I have never before seen so many critters up so close or been guided by professionals who knew more about the flora and fauna. The birds were gorgeous, the big cats magnificent, the other creatures plentiful and the backgrounds colorful and varied. Mombo Trails accommodations were comfortable and the food varied and delicious. The staff were solicitous but never intrusive. In short, this was the best safari experience I have known!

Wonderful and up-close experiences with elephants as well as many other species.

A tremendous safari with film permits in the Serengeti with Ethan Kinsey Safaris
This was our second time in the Serengeti with Ethan Kinsey (ethan-kinsey.com) as our amazing guide. This time around we had film permits which allowed us off-road access to the wildlife. The wildlife was as expected with great opportunities in both the Northern Serengeti and in the Namiri Plains area. The two locations provided good variety of scenery and different environments for the wildlife. We mixed wilderness camps with the Namiri Plains Lodge and both types of camp were great - a blend of privacy with luxury. You can view some of my photos at https://www.flickr.com/photos/scottseyephotos/ to see what you can expect - an unbelievable experience!!

South Africa offers everything to those who love wildlife, amazing countryside, beautiful people . .
Our South African safari outshone our expectations in every way : wildlife experiences, the ever-changing landscape, comfortable and affordable accommodation, delicious food and wine, and the wonderful, kind, and helpful South African people.
We had a first class tour guide in Derek Keeling "Experiencing a Lifetime in a Day" - he gave us a holiday of a lifetime. We left South Africa feeling sad to leave such an amazing and beautiful country and its people behind. If you're thinking about it - I'd recommend you book it.

Great Experience!!!
This year in October my husband and I visited Kenya and went for Safari to celebrate our wedding anniversary. After thorough research and recommended by one of my Kenyan friend we chose to go with Africa Celebrity Tour. I must say that we made a good decision going with them. We booked a safari tour with from USA, and we were happy that they didn't ask for my credit card or any kind of payment in advance. When we arrived at Nairobi hotel, Joseph and Muli both came to collect the payment and explained us the tour details. Our tour guide was Joseph. We were also happy that we selected private tour instead of the group. This gave us more freedom. Throughout the trip, including back and forth from Masai Mara, Joseph was very friendly and gave us information about the animals, their habitat etc. He was very punctual. Since we had a private tour, Joseph was nice enough to stop at a shopping center on our way to Masai Mara, where we picked up some snack items. He also volunteered to take our pictures at breathtaking scenic sites along our way. At Safari Joseph was great at driving and knew his way very well, where to find the animals. We were able to see all big 5 and we captured great pictures. Again, because of the private tour, we didn't feel rushed at all.
We also went to Masai village with him, where we were greeted by Masai people who welcomed us with their welcoming dance.
The semi-luxury tent that we stayed in was a new experience for us and we enjoyed it a lot. Since we were vegetarians, the chef made an extra effort to prepare vegetarian dishes for us. Muli and Joseph made this trip memorable.
We will definitely travel with ACT again in the future and would recommend to anyone visiting Masai Mara.

Excellent safari tour operator with strong care for both wildlife and local people
We made a fantastic safari with African Wildcats Expeditions in July this year – it was indeed a memory for life!
We were travelling with our children (10 and 12 years) and parents so when we planned we looked carefully for a guide that could be fully trusted. Jacob Loserian was perfect for this mission, when we planned the trip and during the entire safari. Jacob has great experience and knowledge, and he is service-minded and a safe driver.
We first went to Seregenti for some days and stayed in a tented camp that we highly can recommend, The Thorn Tree tented Lodge. The camp has clean and spacious tents, excellent food and is place in the middle of nature.
During the safari, we spotted a lot of animals, not least lions – also hunting on repeated occasions! Clearly, the game driving was facilitated by Jacob’s experience, knowledge on nature and his great eyesight. We also had a wonderful day in the beautiful Ngogorongoro crater before heading back to Arusha.
After the safari we spent a day visiting a school, health center and a traditional Maasai village in a community in the Monduli mountains, approximately 1h easy drive from Arusha. We had the great pleasure to hand over school books, pens and footballs to the school children, and we learned much about the work and challenges in the school, as well as of the traditional way of living in a Maasai village. Again, Jacob was an excellent guide and since he also comes from the same area, he has knowledge as few other guides we have met over the years.
The visit in Monduli gave us and our children a good opportunity to meet people far from the ordinary tourist tracks and we established good contacts with the people. We will never forget this visit and hope to come back in a few years.
Overall the journey was beyond our expectations. Having travelled in Tanzania and elsewhere in East Africa several times over the years, we can absolutely recommend African Wildcats Expeditions to anyone looking for a high-quality safari tour operator, with a strong care for both wildlife and local people.
