Reliable and efficient in all aspects
5/5

My trip to South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe, which was to be my first incursion ever into the African continent, at first seemed to be very challenging to plan and organize. However, thanks to African Savanna Travel and its representative, Tanja Joubert, all went smoothly, from the beginning to the end. Tanja managed to assemble a customized package which was taylored exactly to my needs and interests, paying attention to every detail and taking care of matters one would no expect a travel agent to be concerned about. She does whatever she can to help her clients, and, what is amazing, making the bill fit the budget limitations. Her selection of accommodations for my trip proves how knowledgeable she is of her business. In spite of being on the moderate price brackets, all of them exceed my expectations, by providing excellent service and having a distinct touch in terms of location and ambiance. Highly recommended.

Our group of 7 conquered Kilimanjaro in february 2018! We had a great time with Tanzania Horizon Safaris and all people were nice and hospitable. The office of Tanzania Horizon was located very near to our hotel in centre. That made our whole trip very easy going and comfortable. They have been very helpful with all our requirements and also helped us planning our trip after Kilimanjaro climbing

A very professional set of people

I was really impressed with the services my friend and I received from the Yala Safari team. Everything was perfectly planned. No hiding charges of any sort.

They went out of their way to quickly arrange a city tour we didn't plan for in a timely and flexible manner because my friend and I made a mistake in the booking date.

To be honest, this is my best trip in a very very long time.

Let it also be on record that I have started recommending them all to my colleagues and friends in case anyone is interested in a trip to Uganda.

All A1, no complaints
Safari tour was excellent, accommodation exactly what we were looking for, car hire all good although company did charge for additional drivers unbeknown to us, airport transfers spot on - very happy tourists who I’m sure would be very happy to recommend Wild Africa

This was the first park of our multi-day safari tour in southern Tanzania, and we enjoyed it tremendously. The first day we were treated to a boat tour near our accommodations at the Selous River Lodge, and we were able to see a great variety of birds (kingfishers, weavers, bee-eaters) as well as crocodiles (baby and adult) and hippos. At night, we could hear hippos grunting from our hut, and we saw at least two kinds of monkeys in the trees outside the hut. During the two days of driving in the reserve, we saw giraffes, buffalo, many birds, warthogs, impalas, water bucks, hippos, and so much more. We enjoyed some breakfast and lunch with our wonderful driver at relaxing spots in the park, and over the course of two days we saw very few people. It was just as wild and wonderful as we had dreamed, and we would go back in a heartbeat.

Excellent, professional and responsive. Tammy was always quick to reply to any inquiry.

The Garden Route was enjoyable and overnight stays very pleasant - above-average accommodations. The safaris were luxurious and more than we could have hoped for. We thought the safaris were expensive when quoted but now understand why they were pricy - amazing resorts that were an experience of a lifetime. Service at each resort was incredible as were the meals. Safari staff were very knowledgable and attentive as well as flexible. We loved very minute of this amazing adventure. All of our expectations were met and more!
Thank you, Tammy for your excellent itinerary and for helping us with any difficulties as we progressed.
Our only disappointment was that our driver during the Garden Route continually ran 'interference' with the person in our group who had done a lot of research and had a clear idea of what we wished to do. He took us to places he insisted were worthy of our time but most were not. He resisted many of our suggestions, never asked us if we had plans for the day and only after almost 'ganging' up on him, did he reluctantly agree to drive us where we asked. There was obvious tension between him and our group 'leader' which made things less pleasant. His attire was also a bit too 'informal' plus we had no microphone for the entire tour (it broke the first hour of the first day), so he really didn't operate as a guide. He promised to get it repaired but was not able to do so. Disappointing. Pembury and Tammy did a wonderful job helping us plan and carry out a very special tour.
