Excellent bespoke self-drive tour of central Namibia
For our first visit to Namibia we wanted some guidance in planning a 10 day self drive itinerary around the middle third of Namibia. Marco and Marne of Southbound tours were very quick to come with a suitable plan that mixed sightseeing and realistic travelling distances. They were able to flex the bookings given the timings of our flights and were very responsive to changes via email and WhatsApp.
We had an excellent briefing package before arrival that was complemented by a pack-up on arrival, as well as a comprehensive briefing on the vehicle, route, activities and hotels.
All the hotels we stayed at were excellent. There is no way I would have identified the correct ones to choose, where the facilities and staff were universally excellent and efficient.
We feel we received excellent value for money, we never needed to call for information or assistance, a testament to the fine organisation and planning.

Competent and caring
We loved Ant's Nest and all the other destinations Sandra booked for us. She was always available on WhatsApp throughout our stay and she was very helpful, it was great to know she was there for us if any problems occurred. We stayed in CapeTown for three nights and did the Cape Tour with a private driver, so we decided where to stop and how long to stay. The Gold restaurant was OK, just to taste different african dishes and watch the drums and the dance. - but once is enough. Schoone Oordt at Swellendam as second destination was quite nice, but two nights would have been enough. Did a nice hike in the Marloth reserve to the waterfall. Oudtshoorn was really nice for two nights, we did the drive over Swartberg Pass on one day, and went to see the Meerkats and one of the Ostrich Farms on the other day. Very good food here. Knysna Turbine Hotel was a perfect location, loved it! Went to the Heads and did the sunset boat tour, next time I'd prefer doing the Featherbed Walk instead of the boat. Port Elisabeth Beach Hotel perfect for the last night, close to the airport and a very good restaurant. What to do better? A bigger car, preferably a Jeep because of lots of gravel roads (National parcs).

Great value!
We enjoyed the tour a lot. Everything was as described and we loved seeing the Amboseli NP. We had the best driver Mufasa, who located a lot of animals and made the experience great. Really good value for money, the sleeping accommodation was nice, food was good, staff was friendly. All in all I can definitely recommend!

Very reliable and committed to great service
I booked a shared safari via Januz for 4 days with the mid-range accommodations. Rose was very responsive and guided me through the complete booking process. Upon arrival the entire team greeted me at the airport and after reaching back to the hotel informed me about the itinerary. The safari guide was great and dropped me off at the respective accommodations at the end of each day. The accommodations themselves were great and the food and service was top notch. My overall experience was very positive and I would highly recommend Januz to anyone interested in a hassle free and comfortable experience.

Amazing !
My trip to Kenya with Albert was absolutely fabulous! Every moment was a true discovery, from the 7 days safari where we had the chance to see the all the “Big Five,” . Albert, our guide, really added a unique dimension to the experience with his fascinating knowledge of local wildlife and culture. Furthermore, he allowed us to get incredibly close to the animals, which was a dream come true.
However, there was one small downside: the Chambai hotel, where the food was unfortunately not up to par. It was a disappointment in what was otherwise an amazing trip. I would recommend reconsidering your accommodation options if you want to fully enjoy your stay.
Everything was really well organise !!!
Despite this little detail, the trip will remain etched in my memory, and I highly recommend this adventure,

Very flexible and helpful in organising a solo trip
The tour guide Paul was excellent. He provided a lot of insight into the region etc and patiently answered my many questions. The Flamingo Hill Tented Campus was beautiful. I was the only one there, because it was low season but they still looked after me very well. The only downside was the rather noisy church nearby (the camp is on the edge of the park), which was having an event till rather late...

I would recommend the northern ethiopia tour with Sahlie.
While preparing for my trip to ethiopia, I didn't have much information and was very scared.
Meeting Sahlie was very helpful and it was comfortable and enjoyable trip.
Sahlie is very kind and he tried to take care of us in advance so that we would not have any inconveniences.
His northern ethiopia tour is very impressive and through this trip,l got to know ethiopia deeply.
I'm planning a trip to omo valley next time, and I want to go with Sahlie again next time.

Excellent driver (Rono) and logistics
We had a party of 6 adults, with Rono as our driver. He did a fantastic job with our group, giving us many good opportunities to see and photograph the animals. Rono was also very well-informed on all the wildlife we saw.
Kudos to Morningstar as well for great logistics. We had a driver switch at the very end, but everything went well. Thank you for the memories!
