So glad that we included this in our itinerary as the scenery was quite different to other areas and as a result there were differences in wildlife too

Due to the wetland nature of this area, there were different bird species. It was magical to travel by Makoro through narrow channels and to camp on an island. It was the only place on our travels where we were allowed to do a walking safari and it is quite special to follow animal tracks on foot.

A lot of trees and bush making it a bit more difficult to spot wildlife.
The lake offers a lot of birds though.

Serengeti is great and the tented Kon Tiki Camp with house impalas, zebras and the nightly visits of hippopotamus is unique.

Smaller but so many elephants just living their life and you have to cope with it. When they decide to block a road, they do and you won’t be able to bring them to other ideas.

So many amazing experiences! Simply wonderful.
5/5

We simply could not have had a better experience.
Our guide/driver/new friend, Ricky was immediately invested in our experience and journey. He made sure we were comfortable, informed and well taken care of. We cannot overstate what an excellent guide Ricky was.
We had magical encounters with leopards, chimpanzees, elephants, giraffes and gorillas! We were actually the envy of several other safari goers and guides we met at the various lodges
Speaking of accommodations, all of the lodges were in great locations with wonderful views and food. Surprisingly high-end food most of the time. Chef-level stuff.
Uganda is a staggeringly beautiful country. You will be amazed at the wildlife, enchanted by the people and stunned by the scenery. But most of all, you will be in good hands with Ricky and Beautiful Uganda Safari’s!!

Trekking in Ethiopia's Lalibela Wollo Highland 4 Days / 3 Nights

This has been one of the most memorable tours I ever did.
First visited the rock-hewn churches in Lalibela and the day after left for the eco-tour. Spent 4 days with 3 friends walking and visiting the amazing surroundings of Lalibela, great guides, welcomed from every community we had the honor to visit and talk with. A gentle and slow way to discover places and people.. Great experience!!

Absolutely reliable
5/5

It was easy to get a tailor-made tour containing 3 national parks. Peter always reacted very quickly to my emails. I was very surprised that I was the only one that had chosen those parks, but I enjoyed having my personal guide Eric. He did a great job, always reliable and helpful. He even had to go shopping with me, because my luggage had not come to Entebbe with me, I only got it after the tour.... Tracking the chimpanzees in Kibale forest, meeting the gorillas in Bwindi and seeing the wildlife in Queen Elisabeth national park, including a leopard, are unique experiences. I got good value for money. The only thing I didn't like were those long hours in the car driving from one park to the other, as most of the roads are incredibly bad. But that is not Buyaga's fault.

What a Trip! Great Service!
5/5

We have just returned home from our safari in Botswana, and I wanted to let you know how pleased we were with the experience.

From our arrival in Victoria Falls, to our departure from Cape Town three weeks later, everything was exactly as planned. All the drivers were on time, transport was clean and modern, and the accommodations at the lodges were excellent. I have to mention that the laundry service at the three lodges in Botswana was an important perk that we were not expecting, but so useful.

Our driver in Cape Town, Farid, was a fountain of information, and made the trip more interesting than it would have been otherwise. The two B and B hotels in South Africa were charming and welcoming with excellent breakfasts.

I don't know if we have ever taken a trip before where everything went as smoothly.

So, thank you for putting together a trip of a lifetime for Judy and I. If anyone ever needs a personal reference, please feel free to have them contact us.
