Our Guide was speaking very good English, was very friendly and nolegible, but in Tanzania many people speaking Swahili but was ok for us.
We truly experienced a custom made journey and the agency is good at noticing specific details
In November 2013 my boyfriend and I traveled to Kenya to celebrate our holiday. We approached Malika Travel to organize our trip. Carlijn and James have a very personal approach and did their very best to make our trip memorable! They prepared our trip very well. From the beginning the contact was very smooth, even by telephone and e-mail. We could contact them anytime and received a prompt and accurate response. It is an excellent country and also the price / quality ratio was perfect. In comparison to other agencies Malika Travel offers a very good price! At first we were a week in a seaside resort in Diani Beach and after this we visited two safari parks, Masai Mara and Samburu National Park. With our driver Moses we went on safari and it was great fun! Malika Travel has chosen really great locations for us, where we were treated like VIPs! It is fantastic that both have so often been in Kenya and are really good with the locals. This is a good base to create such a trip!

A 'get away from the routine' was a wonderful experience
The trip was well planned out and co-ordination was good. However, the camping facilities at the park were quite basic; for instance electricity for only 4 hrs in the evening and no charging points in the room.
The itinerary, though packed, was fun filled - with lots of time spent inside the park.
Worth recommending to friends.
Renewed Appreciation
I had written a review earlier but, having enjoyed a safari in Uganda with a company that did a very satisfying job, I thought I should note how World Tours & Safaris Tanzania was absolutely outstanding. A tight programme allowed us to see a lot in four days, with pacing at Lake Manyara and Serengeti and Ngorongoro well arranged. Food was excellent, and accommodation quite satisfactory for the budget rates we paid. Many thanks

Encompass Africa is the best travel company we have ever dealt with as they listened carefully, were prompt and excellent with all communication and designed an itinerary that covered all our requests and interests. Being experienced travellers themselves they know the places we wanted to visit well and consequently gave excellent and appropriate advice both verbally and written. They also have an office in Johannesburg with someone always ready to assist if required. We had reason to call their SA office and received immediate and willing assistance with a quick resolution to our query. The overall result was that, thanks to Encompass Africa, we had an amazing holiday experience and have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone planning a holiday to Africa.

As great as expected
First, we've been happily surprised that all gone as expected. Driver was waiting for us at the ferry station. We had a great transport time with him as he appears to be a very nice and enjoyable guy. Meal on the road was also good. He tried to do his best to show us a variety of animals in Mikumi National Park and to teach us interesting facts about wild life. The hotel booked by Gecko for the night was a great and confortable moment for people beeing backpacking for days. The only cons was the meal on the way back which was kind of sandwiches not as fresh that it would need to be. In summary, I would recommend Gecko adventure.

It was amazing trip, with beautifull landscape and more beautifull nature. Philip is a wonderfull person and travelling with him was realy interesting, safe and unforgetable. I would like to travel wth him again and we recomand exploring Africa with Wild Wind Safaris.

Tarangire home of Elephants
We booked a camping Safari with Safari hub and had a super experience. We spent 3 days in Tarangire and saw so many elephants, my favorite animal so I was very happy. It was worth visiitng Tanzania and I am glad we camped as its gives a better Safari experience - Our driver Stanley was very good and helpful.

We (myself, husband and 2 university aged children) have just had a fantastic experience in Ruaha NP, in January 2015. We used Tatanca Safaris, Iringa who organized all of our travel/safari/accommodation. The whole experience was brilliant and stress free. Ruhua River Lodge is beautiful and is right on the Ruaha River and yes the hippos do wander past your bandas each morning. Ruaha is a gem and it’s great to not feel like you are on a freeway of safari trucks. Tatanca Safaris were fantastic, very helpful and provided a range of options to suit our style and budget. They really understood that this was a special experience for us to celebrate our daughter’s 21st and as a family adventure. Tatanca Safaris provided and excellent guide/driver, Habibo, who was very knowledgeable, punctual and just great to be around. Met all of out expectations & more, I would happily return to Ruaha Park and would definitely use Tatanca Safaris again.
