Highly Recommend SoK, Especially Our Guide Lenny!
5/5

My wife and I traveled to Kenya for our honeymoon in October and organized a safari to Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara with Spirit of Kenya. The company was incredibly communicative and planned everything we asked for perfectly. On arrival, we were paired with our guide Lenny, who turned out to be the best guide we could have possibly asked for. Lenny expertly navigated tough roads, spotted tons and tons of animals, and used his deep knowledge of animal behavior and Masai culture to give us incredibly deep insight into all of Kenya's animals and Kenyan life and culture. We saw all of the Big Five and so so much more. We joked throughout the safari that any time Lenny picked up his binoculars to get a better view of something that we ourselves would have never noticed in the distance, we were about to see something great. By the end, Lenny wasn't just our expert guide but was also a great friend. We'd recommend Spirit of Kenya to anyone traveling to Kenya for a safari and we especially highly recommend our incredible guide Lenny.

Experience of a lifetime
5/5

Just wow, thank you Wild Planet Safari, Thale, Ryan and our amazing guide Raf.
We were a party of three who booked a Private seven night safari, this trip far exceeded our expectations and we can't recommend the experience enough.
From the first moment of enquiry with Thale to the final drop off by Raf, Wild Planet displayed fantastic customer service and attention to detail.
Raf was a superb guide, cook and all round great guy, working tirelessly to ensure we had the best experience, he would find the wildlife with great expertise, ensure we were in prime position to observe all of the amazing animals, drove us to so many incredible sightings and beautiful locations. After a day of driving us around Raf would cook us the most amazing dinners which we enjoyed immensely as we all reminisced about the spectacular experiences of the day
Our accommodation in all five places was spotless and very comfortable and the safari vehicle being open sided offered a very immersive safari experience. We saw an incredible number of animals and we were in awe of so many amazing sights, its hard to do justice to what we saw in words so all we can do is strongly suggest, if you have the opportunity to visit South Africa, you do so with a tour with Wild Planet Safari, they will give you a spectacular experience that will stay with you forever. Thank you

Highly recommend! Best host, accommodation, food and travel tips!
5/5

The safari experience with the Ultimate Africa Journeys had the perfect balance of excitement and comfort.
My friend and I went on a day-trip at Tarangire national park with our amazing guide+private vehicle. Watching all the wildlife such as zebras, giraffes, monkeys and giraffes, the game-ride through the park, and seeing all the unique plants kept me captivated the whole time!
I would never forget the sight of seeing a young lion eating a zebra under the bush!!!
We also loved the accommodation suggested by our amazing host Nelson. Eco-home stay at Maji ya chai had such a warm atmosphere and the meals were incredible! We requested a vegetarian meal and we had the best 3-course meals we’ve had in Tanzania. We even asked for the recipe of a few dishes at the end!
The biggest reason I would suggest them is the amazing host Nelson.
He’s hospitality was smooth, caring and very professional from the start to the very end. Thanks to Nelson, we’re were able to enjoy our special adventure with security and comfort.
We look forward for a chance to visit other safari’s in Arusha and we are already excited to spend our time with the Ultimate Africa Journey family again.

About: Zimbabwe
lovely Valley and touristik place but less animals
Overall rating
5/5

I visited Hwange NP. and Victoria Falls in Nov24 which is actually the beginn of the wet season besides the really beautyfull and lovely valleys and Nature landscapes, espacilly the VIC. Falls Rain Forest Park, there were roughly not much animals to see at this time😔😔😔. During our daily Game Drives in the morning and evening hours our ranger had a hard time to find at least some animals hidden in the savanne as they all were moving to other locations where is more water and fresh green areas. So if it comes to the decission question which park is better to visit Hwange or Chobe? I would defently say that Chobe has the richer Animal areas and more nicer green areas because of the Chobe and Zambezi river Delta landscapes and lovely areas around. It's a very popular area for the Animals which are Schilling Next to the river area. VIC Falls is a ideal place as base, to stay a couple of days as it is touristic and has a good infrastructure you can do lot of activites for effordable price levels there👌🏻

Tanzania was a fantastic experience - the safari on the Serengeti, in Ngorongoro Crater and by Lake Manyara. The people we met were friendly and accommodating, and with very good reason proud of their country. We have visited both Zanzibar and Arusha/Serengeti, and we will surely come back for more.

Trip of a Lifetime

We booked a four day three night safari and it was a breath taking experience. Everything was meticulously arranged and it really took the guess work out of figuring out every detail of our trip. Our guides were very knowledgeable, experienced, and helpful. We learned so much and were thoroughly entertained. The time of year we chose to go was also perfect. We didn’t witnesss the great migration, but we able to avoid crowds and still manage to see all the animals on our checklist and more. Our guides with their laser sharp vision were able to spot animals seemingly miles away that we couldn’t tell were there until we were closer. The hot air balloon portion of our tour was amazing. It felt like a very special experience being able to tour the lands from a different point of view and be treated to a wonderful breakfast on the savanna. What a view! Bonifus was our favorite guide and wealth of knowledge knew no bounds. 10/10 recommend and would absolutely do again.

This was a trip that completely exceeded expectations!

The trip to Tanzania was beyond imagination. The natural scenery and wildlife there are unique and breathtaking. But what I miss most is the friendliness and enthusiasm of the locals. Their smiles are as warm and bright as the sunshine there. Special mention should be made of our guide Max, whose expertise and sense of humor made the whole trip full of fun. He is not only a guide, but more like an old friend or a family member, making our travel experience more memorable.

Good but could be better
4/5

I recently went on a safari organized by Emmy Safaris with our guide, Nurdin. Overall, the experience was very enjoyable, and we were fortunate to see a wide variety of animals. The accommodations were excellent, providing comfort and a great atmosphere after long days in the wild.

While the last two days had some challenges, I have to say that Nurdin was a great guide throughout most of the trip—knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. However, towards the end, his mood seemed to dip, which slightly affected the group dynamic. Additionally, on the final day, another couple joined our vehicle due to a technical issue with their car, even though we had specifically paid for a private safari.

One thing that could have improved the experience was having binoculars available, as they would have made it easier to spot and appreciate the animals from a distance.

Despite these minor setbacks, we truly enjoyed the safari and will cherish the memories of this unique adventure
