Knowledgeable, fun, organized, detail oriented.
Shanjoy gave us a magical experience. From a historical tour in Nairobi to a 4 day safari tour to inviting us to learn about Kenyan food in their home. They organized absolutely everything, were very communicative and flexible with what we wanted. I can’t wait to go back and continue exploring east Africa with them. If you are looking for a comprehensive tour experience, Shanjoy are it!

Professionnel and excellent service from start to finish, I knew I was with the best for my safari
Communication was fast and professional, with any questions answered quickly. I loved the detailed agenda, tips for packing and guidance I received from the team on visas. It was a pleasure working with them and they made me feel very comfortable as a solo female traveler. My driver was Willy, the ultimate professional who gave me the best experience I could have wished for! We were together for 5 days and he was always very kind and patient, answering the millions of questions I had. He is so knowledgeable about the parks, with great contacts, and works tirelessly to get you to the best spots to see the animals. We saw all the big 6, and managed to get so close, it was truly a magical experience. I wouldn’t hesitate twice in choosing Morning Star again and definitely would love to safari with Willy again. Their vehicles are excellent too !!!

Very well organized and committed to ensuring that you have the best possible safari.
I had a wonderful experience. Mary took care of everything. I had a customized itinerary, which Mary planned to the smallest detail. Everything went smoothly, I never had to wait or didn’t know, what’s next. It was perfectly organized and Mary was never tired of asking me, if everything was okay. Our driver was very knowledgeable and stopped for every special request. The food was delicious.
There is nothing I could complain about. I would definitely recommend a safari with Enjoy Rejoice.

A trip of a lifetime
We took a Safari with Serengeti Wakanda tours between December 5th to 10th, 2024 - 6-Day Wakanda Special Mid Range Safari. All we had to do was to show up at Nairobi Airport everything else was taken care by Aishwarya she helped us with planning the Safari as it was our first time in Tanzania, booking cabs from Nairobi to Arusha and booking a stay at Arusha before the start of Safari.
On 4th December Ben met with us in the hotel we stayed and explained the entire itinerary to us on what to expect and the timing that we would start the safari on the 5th
We started our Safari on 5th with the best guide ever Bashir. He comes with an experience of 10 years and great humor sense which kept the mood of the whole safari lit. He was patient with us throughout all six days. He knew all the parks like the back of his hands, he exactly knew where to find the animals and helped us locating them and shared his knowledge about the wildlife with us.
We Started with Tarangire on Day 1 and moved to Serengeti on Day 2, 3 and half of day 4 and finished Day 5 with Ngorongoro Crater. It was perfect, we were able to see all big 5 :)
The locations that Aishwarya choose for us to stay were amazing and food was excellent with enormous selection of Vegetarian options
One day 6 we planned to go to Materuni Waterfalls and Chemka hot springs but the night before it rained a lot which worried us as the trek to Materuni would be slippery, Aishwarya immediately gave us a few different options and we ended our day 6 with Chemka hot springs and Arusha City tour
It was a trip of a lifetime, all thanks to Serengeti Wakanda tours, Aishwarya, Bashir and the personal chefs at Serengeti Wakanda
Detail orientated adventure with great memories to cherish
I wanted gorillas. Ever since I knew about Rwanda gorilla tours I wanted one. I asked for a quote and Ivan called me and informed me of the price difference between the Ugandan and Rwandan gorilla permit. So Uganda it was.
Ivan advised on the best airport to fly into (kigali), helped with my visa issue, and introduced me in his gentle way to his corner of Africa. I loved that our stopover in Kisoro was his family’s holiday home. Steeped in personal historical anecdotes was what I really wanted in a guide, he gave me an authentic taste of Uganda. Also he quickly got to know what I needed (assistance with walking / hiking, getting key shots for my travel photography) and applied it to each day.
I don’t normal self fund my travels so being on a budget away from work travels was such a wonderful eye opener. Every accommodation excelled in cleanliness, service including and especially Ivan’s own hotel.
In total we spent five days together; gorillas, lake bunyoni (please do two days here on your travels), batwa tour, lake kivu. I was saddened to leave Ivan when he dropped me off in kigali. He really does care about the delivery of his service and personalised my tour every step of the way.
Africa is not cheap (in comparison to say SE Asia, India etc) but Ivan made it as efficient as possible without losing my need for a personal tour. I can’t recommend enough.

Attentive, organized, thorough well planned out tour with many highlights included
We joined the 7 day tour of Hwange National Park, Chobe National Park and Victoria falls in November 2024. We had a fantastic experience overall. We expected to be part of a larger group but the majority of the time it was just the two of us and our excellent guide, Stanford, who took very good care of us. For some of the game drives and activities we joined with others at the various lodges, but all of the experiences still felt very personalized. The lodges we stayed in were very nice, comfortable and upscale. In Hwange national park, all our game drives were only with us and the guides. In Chobe it was busier, but still very nice. The food at all of the accommodations was excellent. While lunch generally isn't included, we usually didn't feel like we needed to buy anything extra and just had a few snacks, as so many of the other meals were so big. Both river cruises were exceptional - the wildlife on the Chobe river and the sunset dinner cruise on the Zambezi river. November was a nice time of year to go - things were relatively quiet, but we could still see a lot of animals. Our guide was very organized, always gave us the information we needed, was always coordinating various logistics and plans, tried to personalize/customize things and give us options / flexibility when that was possible. He also shared a lot of nice information about the different cultures we were encountering. All of the staff from those working in the lodges, to those in the national parks, were incredibly helpful and welcoming. While the tour isn't 'cheap', it does feel like a good value for your money when you consider all of the different things you're getting to do and experience. The communication with the company was always prompt and professional.
Negatives / things which could be improved - while we knew that drinks we're not included (we expected this meant alcohol mainly) - in some cases, we also had to purchase other non-alcoholic drinks like water. Much of the time, the guides or those leading the game drivers also provided that, but there were a few instances when we were at the lodge during the day, when we had to purchase it ourselves. I would just ask the guide(s) for additional water when it's available, or probably make sure to buy some extra when you're in the town so you don't need to just buy from the lodges which are more costly. Conversely though, some of the activities themselves do include their own drinks / alcohol (like the sunset cruise or some evening game drives, which is very nice).
Visas - a bit more explanation about which visa to purchase when arriving to Victoria Falls airport in the welcoming instructions would have been helpful, especially if a person wants to take advantage of an optional activity where they'd cross over into Zambia and need to re-enter Zimbabwe an additional time (like Devil's pool). I bought the double entry visa but should have bought the "Kaza Univisa". And at the airport even when I asked for clarification, they sometimes withhold this information unless you ask directly for that visa by name, which would have saved me some money if I'd known exactly to ask for that. Some additional information about some of the optional activities in Victoria falls could be provided in the initial instructions too which could help someone plan accordingly.
We also purchased trip insurance which we were told is mandatory to have (and generally a good thing to have) - but in the end, no one verified if we did or didn't have it which it was said that they would.

Perfect safari with perfect team
We recently had the privilege of going on a safari with Ripple Safaris, and we can confidently say it was an experience of a lifetime. When we booked our trip, the team at Ripple Safaris was exceptionally responsive.Jhon our guide, he made sure we had the best chances to see animals in their natural habitats, We saw a wide range of wildlife, including the Big Five, and the guides took the time to explain animal behavior, ecology, and the history of the parks we visited. At the end of the safari, we felt not just like tourists, but like part of the Ripple Safaris family.
