An Incredible and Unique Safari Experience
5/5

If you're looking for a safari that goes beyond just seeing the animals, look no further than Shammah Wonders Safari! Our 1-day adventure in Nyerere National Park was nothing short of spectacular, thanks to this exceptional company and their incredible team of guides. From the moment we set off, it was clear that Shammah Safari is in a league of its own.

What truly sets them apart is their team of guides, who not only have an encyclopedic knowledge of the wildlife but also possess a rare gift for making the experience both educational and incredibly fun. Our guides—Deodat Kimario, Maarouf, and Elihakim—were a perfect blend of professionalism, humor, and warmth. They didn't just take us on a tour; they invited us into the world of the animals, explaining everything from behavior and habits to fascinating facts that most tourists never hear.

Deodat, in particular, had an almost magical ability to spot wildlife from miles away and provide deep insights into the natural surroundings. Maarouf had us laughing every few minutes with his witty commentary, while Elihakim's calm demeanor and attention to detail made the whole experience feel incredibly personal. Their camaraderie was contagious, and it was clear that they genuinely love what they do.
The knowledge these guides shared about the animals—everything from the smallest birds to the largest predators—was unparalleled. It wasn’t just a simple “there’s an elephant” moment; it was a fully immersive experience, where they explained the dynamics of the animal kingdom, from predator-prey relationships to fascinating cultural aspects of the species we encountered.

Beyond the animals, Shammah Wonders Safari went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, engaged, and entertained the entire time. They provided us with great snacks, took care of all the logistics, and truly created a welcoming atmosphere that made the day feel like we were on a private, tailor-made adventure. They even made sure we had the perfect vantage points for every sighting, so we never missed a moment of the action.

If you want a safari that’s not just about checking animals off a list, but about gaining a deep appreciation for the incredible wildlife and the people who know it best, then Shammah Wonders Safari is the company to choose. The personal touches, the humor, and the profound knowledge of the guides made this an experience we will cherish for a lifetime.

Another great perk? The price! For everything that was included—flights, the safari, snacks, and a day packed with memorable experiences—Shammah Wonders Safari offers unbeatable value. It’s rare to find such a high-quality safari at such a competitive price.

We can't thank the team enough for making this safari so unique and unforgettable. We'd definitely visit again, and we can't recommend Shammah Wonders Safari highly enough to anyone looking to explore the beauty of Tanzania in the best possible way!

Outstanding service and offerings were provided for multiple excursions and with flexibility.
5/5

Our tour operator had booked several excursions in advance from Zambezi Expeditions which we added to and altered during our stay in Victoria Falls. Every single driver, guide and, especially, Oscar coordinating it all, were wonderful. We felt like no question was unanswered and all programs were the highest quality . We are especially grateful for the last minute adjustment and addition of a Livingstone cultural day including Makuni Village in Zambia. To be honest, we wish we had worked directly with Zambezi Expedition Travel right from the beginning instead of our original operators.

We thank them from the bottom of our hearts for memorable moments and laughter and wonderful service.

Professional, fun and knowledgeable
5/5

The whole experience was very enjoyable and stress free. From the transport, accom and knowledgeable guide. All for a reasonable price considering the expensive mandatory entrance fee. I would not hesitate to go back with this company.

Fantastic!
5/5

Honestly this review can't even possibly come close to expressing what this trip meant to us! I have taken a bit of time to write this review. We went back in July-August 2024. It has been hard to write a review that would do this trip justice, but I am going to try.

From start to finish it was beyond our dreams! So lets start at the beginning. We started working with Antoinette with Discover Africa December 2023. Lucky for us we found her by accident doing some research. We talked to others but really connected with Antoinette and decided to take a leap of faith in her. Thank goodness we did! She was the "Queen" of this trip if you will! If it wasn't for her this experience would never had happened. I can't express enough thanks to her and her team! She NEVER got impatient with us. Even with all our "stupid" questions. She answered all of our questions patiently. She never lost focus. She is a source of incredible knowledge and personal experience. She designed a fantastic bucket list trip for us! Every detail was thought out! She is a gem and if you are lucky enough to get to work with her you will not be disappointed!

Our trip was focused on the country of Tanzania. What an absolutely beautiful country and beautiful people! From the landscapes, to the people and the animals you should see this amazing country! (Kenya has nothing on Tanzania!)

We started our adventure in Kilimanjaro. We were picked up by Freddy an Anderson and Harvey representative. He had the most smiling face to welcome us into country. After a 30+ hour journey it was well received! We asked him for a coffee place and he took us to a stand since he is a tea drinker he was a little at a loss but was very tasty. Onwards to our lodge. Stayed at the Kaliwa Lodge. Very pretty in the treetops over looking the river. With the abundance of foliage hard to see the river but could hear it. Food was incredible and staff were really nice and attentive. We tried to "hike" Kilimanjaro, I use this word loosely, to the first base camp. We made it halfway. It was a wonderful experience. Our guide was Kester who works with the lodge. He was so fun. I think he was a bit worried with us but we made it! We learned about his life and what movies he liked. Great way to kick off our trip.

We were picked up from Anderson and Harvey transfer and met Charles for the first time. On the way Charles treated us to a "respectful" coffee! He was such a delight. We loved talking politics to him. Learned about his family and his job. We met Charles a few times throughout the trip. He was a great representative for Anderson and Harvey. He brought us to Siringit Villa. That place is incredible! Beautiful grounds. The food is 5 star! People come from all around to eat there. The service was impeccable. The spa and the golf fantastic. Spent one of our days visiting the Arusha National Park with Allen from Anderson and Harvey. The brush is incredible and thick. We had a picnic lunch and a just a great conversation getting to know Allen and seeing the park and the animals. Really a nice relaxing stay to get ready for the push through to the Serengeti.

Next on our stop Arusha Coffee Lodge. Unfortunately only 1 night at the Arusha Coffee Lodge. I wish it could have been more! The room was gorgeous. We were treated to an excellent dinner. And the breakfast was incredible! The arts and crafts fun to watch them make and to shop.

Enjoying our trip immensely to this point, as I reflect, this is the point where our adventure really began! We meet Penuel. He is going to be our guide for the next 11 days. Starting from the Tarangire National park, through the Ngorongoro Crater, into Central Serengeti finishing in Northern Serengeti. That is a statement...meeting Penuel. He is a force of nature. He is an astounding guide! From his incredible sightings to all his knowledge. He is a true ambassador of the culture, environment and all the creatures. His patience is unparalleled to no one. His comprehension of the terrain and the roads was stupefying (not like there are road signs). His witty sense of humor and his sarcasm endeared him to us right away. We are in debt to Penuel for forever! What he showed us there are no words. He means the world to us! Thank you Penuel!

Every place we stayed along the way, mentioned below, were beyond belief! From the service, to the food and drinks, to the breathtaking rooms! You do not want for anything! They surpassed any expectations that we might have had! We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our wonderful camps.

All 5 star experience:
Elewana Tarangire Treetops
Melia Collection Ngorongoro
Nimali Central Serengeti
Nimali Mara Northern Serengeti

Our trip ended in Zanzibar at Essque Zalu Zanzibar. This island is very cultural. Be respectful! Had a nice time unwinding from the rush.

If you made it this far, thank you! Spectacular Trip!

Outstanding Safari Experience
5/5

I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation to the Fuhara Safari professional team.

Our trip to the Chobe Park was just outstanding. We traveled with 2 kids. The unique experience included boat cruise in addition to the car safari. We were able to see a lot of different animals including lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes and other.

Everyone who managed and guided our trip was attentive to detail, punctual and had positive attitude. The lunch on the boat was excellent with all inclusive food and drinks. Food was delicious.

I would like to pass my special thanks to Pretty-office manager and David- our safari guide and driver in Botswana. David's sense of humor was amazing:) He fulfilled our safari day wit joy and positive energy:)

I also had another reservation with the same company to visit the Devil's pool in Zambia and experience was the same positive.

Thank you!!!

Amazing tour with the incredible Kikitu
5/5

We had the best 3 day tour with our guide Kikitu in the Masai Mara. We were picked up from the airport in Nairobi on day one, dropped off at Jocky Tours office to pay the final balance (bring cash to avoid a 3% card fee). Once the bill was settled we met our group and guides ready for a 6/7 hour drive to the Masai Mara. Once arriving we had lunch at Enkorok camp (which was great) and then went out for our first 3 hour drive in the park. On day 2, we had a full game drive all day and transferred back to our hotel in Nairobi on day 3 following a visit to the Masai village which was incredibly interesting. Kikitu was extremely knowledgeable about the Masai Mara and was able to use his vast knowledge of the park to tell us all about the animals. He made sure we were safe at all times and even when getting stuck in a huge pothole still having fun! We went in low season in November which was great as we weren’t following any others cars and therefore really felt like such an authentic adventure. A couple of highlights were giraffes walking incredibly close to the car, a lion taking a nap after a kill and spotting a leopard in a tree! Thank you kikitu for making our trip to the Masai Mara so memorable and we would highly recommend booking with him for an exciting and unforgettable experience!

Courteous and well thought out communication.
5/5

Ben was a pleasure to deal with, from the conversations on the phone during quoting to the multiple steps troubleshooting payment (issues on my end and not with Banok).

Most importantly, Ben had every single detail planned for my wife and I. He put us together with a Masai guide (James) for our safari drives and we managed to spot the big 5 in our first drive. There were moments where I had thought I had missed something (transportation from the air strip in the Masai Mara to our camp for example), but Ben had thought of that even though I never asked him about it.

I cannot recommend Banok enough, and will certainly be advising family and friends to use Banok Safari for when they visit Kenya.

Trip of a lifetime
5/5

We arranged a 4 day/ 3 night safari with Joagro and from first contact until Anuar dropped us at the airport, it was a brilliant experience. I had lots of queries initially but nothing fazed Jonas and he always replied promptly to my messages. One of my big concerns was food for my coeliac husband but he assured me that would be no problem.
We started from our hotel in Arusha and visited Tarangire and Serengeti national parks and Ngorongoro conservation area and crater over the 4 days and each was breathtaking. Ultimately, the trip was made extra special by our wonderful guide Anuar , who’s knowledge and enthusiasm was extensive and his patience with all our questions was brilliant. We stayed 2 of the 3 nights in tented safari accommodation and on these nights we ate together which really enhanced the trip.
The jeep was great, plenty of water available at all times, and each day followed the plan Anuar set out. The accommodation was all super with lovely staff and great food and no problem to get gluten free options.
On returning to our hotel, we commented that we had the whole of the next day with nothing to do and Anuar suggested a walking tour of Arusha which Joagro arranged for us and they also dropped us at the airport - all arranged at short notice for a great price.
I would highly recommend Joagro to anyone thinking of a safari in this area.

This was my 3rd trip using Trots & Safari Uganda. Year after year, from planning to execution, my trip has been handled personally and professionally. I appreciate all of their team's good communication, timely counsel, and friendly staff. I have covered a lot of miles in Western Uganda, and will continue to entrust my travel and arrangments to Trots for years to come!
