Our guide, Justin, was exceptional—attentive, accommodating, and happy to stop whenever we asked. The accommodations exceeded our expectations and added to the overall experience. Our safari with Kilimanjaro Heroes was absolutely phenomenal! From start to finish, their communication and planning were impeccable, making the entire experience seamless and stress-free. We booked this trip for a milestone birthday, and they truly made it special with thoughtful touches and expert guidance.
The safari itself was beyond our wildest dreams. We were lucky enough to see all the animals we’d hoped for, including the legendary Big 5! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, ensuring we got the best views while respecting the wildlife. Their hotel recommendations were spot on, offering comfort and great service after our adventurous days.

Akando, with Mr. Richard as a guide, was professional and friendly.
We had an amazing 3-day safari, wisiting both Serengeti and Ngororo. The guide, Mr. Richard was truly professional and made us feel very welcome. We got to see 4 of "the big 5" even though the grass at this time of year makes it difficult. We also got to encounter lions from very close, and our guide did his very best to make our safari memorable. The accomodation on this trip (Serena Hotel) couldn't have been better. Amazing atmosphere, great food and great people.

Savannah Woods Safari is AMAZING. Please go ahead and book with them. I have contacted several tour operators in Kenya and they are very slow to respond, especially with last minute bookings.
But Lucy from Savannah Woods Safari helped me a lot for my last minute Safari bookong and was always ready to respond within minutes 24/7.
Her and Josphat's team are excellent guides (Especially RICHARD Please look for him as your guide). They make sure you see all the Big 5 within a day and just a stone's throw away.
Their prices are very reasonable too.
I have been to several safaris in South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and I have to say that Masai Mara Kenya is the best! You don't need to spend days finding lions, etc. In fact all Big 5 (and ugly 5) are abundant in Kenya.
Suffice to say, none of this amazing trip in Kenya would have happened if it weren't for Lucy and Josphat, and Richard at Savannah Woods Safari.
Highly recommended!
