There aren't enough words to describe the wonderful and amazing experience we had with Likana Safaris. From the time we arrived until the end of our tours we were treated like family. The accommodations were excellent , very comfortable and of high quality. The food was delicious and we had the choice of eating local dishes which i highly recommend. The iternary was well planned taking into consideration our expectations. Every day of the iternary we had a beautiful day and felt very satisfied. Our driver Nathan did everything to make sure we were safe and comfortable. He provided us with relevant and good information about the wild life, birds and Uganda. We felt so happy spending time driving to our destinations and seeing interesting things along the way. While some roads were easy to drive on other roads , offered jokingly the African massage, which is part of the adventure and experience. We loved the entire journey and made the best of it. Bonny our tour operator did an excellent job always coordinating with Nathan our driver to ensure we were having a great experience. I would definitely recommend Likana Safaris if you want a great and memorable experience. A big thank you for not only assisting us with the Gorilla trekking but allowing us to experience so much wild life, birds and exposing us to the Uganda culture , villages and providing us with exposure to communities that are working towards development and sustainable solutions to empower themselves and the country. Chasing Lions!
Amshar Serengeti Adventures completely designed and tailored this trip for us to fit within our timetable. It was incredible and amazing. Our driver, Major, was super knowledgeable, funny, kind, patient and chased down leopards, prides of lions, elephants, and rhinos just so we could have the most epic experience — which we totally did. These guys are THE BEST!!!

An amazing safari in Mikumi!
What a fantastic safari we had in Mikumi National Park! Our guide, Fessal, and driver Jonathan went out of their way to make our trip unforgettable. We got incredibly close to lions several times, I could practically smell them they were so near! We also saw large herds of giraffes, zebras, water buffalo, impalas, baboons, and wildebeest. Jonathan had to drive a bit to find them, but then we saw hippos in their mud pool and shortly after a crocodile with 3 babies. The highlight was undoubtedly seeing a mother elephant taking a mud bath with her calf. The baby elephant was trumpeting with joy, so cute! Jonathan told us fascinating things about the animals; he knew exactly when certain animals were most dangerous and could tell us all about their behavior. We really enjoyed it! And not to forget: the food was delicious and we slept in a new bungalow, right next to the park. We chose the 3-day trip, traveling by boat (picked up from our hotel and fully accompanied by Fessal from Zanzibar,... Read more so no hassle), and immediately got 3 hours of safari upon arrival and 12 hours of safari the next day (you have to get up early but it's definitely worth it).

We loved Dickson! Lovely experience guide, lots of fun
We went with our family. Including our 12 year old daughter. Dickson was a very experienced guide over 18 years driving. We felt safe and he navigated difficult roads very well. Don't cut costs and go in a cheaper vehicle! The conditions need a skilled driver and quality land cruiser to navigate the terrain. He is a popular man. He knows everybody. He also took us to see all the incredible sights and animals..cheetahs, crocodiles, hippos, leopards, lions, elephants, giraffes, wilder beast, buffalo, ostriches, zebras, baboons and much more!!!

The initial engagement was first class - DENIS guided us from start to finish. We were provided with an initial quote and 3 options to meet our requirements.
We eventually chose:
SAROVA LION HILL GAME LODGE - Nakuru Game Reserve (1 night)
SAROVA MARA GAME CAMP (2 nights)
These were chosen as they were inside the park - this saves a lot of time getting on safari - and the SAROVA group proved to be real luxury. The accommodation gave a taste of camp life and the food and service were always top quality.
We also chose the LandCruiser over the minibus option. This proved to be a wise choice as the landcruiser has better off road capability which allowed us to get close quickly to the mins blowing... Read more experience of a lion kill.
Our driver and guide was EDWARD (the MOST FAMOUS GUIDE IN THE WHOLE MASAAI) who is a 15 year veteran of the parks. Working in tandem with a couple of colleagues he was able to steer us through the park experience; pointing out the various wildlife and steering us to:
1. A family of white Rhino
2. Over 5 pride of lions - and one pumba kill
3. An elephant up close
4. A leopard eatings it’s kill in the setting sun
5. The terror of the Cape buffalo
Alongside: cheetah, giraffe, baboons, and the lovable (but very stupid) pumbas.

Our family safari with Serengeti Green Tanzania was unforgettable! Goodluck was our guide, and his enthusiasm and expertise made the trip extra special. He tailored the game drives to our interests, ensuring we saw elephants, giraffes, and even a leopard! Joseph and Sabina were amazing in handling all the logistics, making sure every detail was perfect. The staff’s attention to detail was outstanding, from the delicious meals to the cozy lodges.
