Safari and beach - fantastic!
My family and took a Somak holiday to Tanzania (Tent with a View) and Zanzibar (Ocean Paradise). The service was excellent - helpful advice before leaving, trouble-free travel arrangements and really great hotels. I had not heard of Somak before, but will definitely use them again and am happy to recommend them.

We always know that we can rely on Somak to collect us on arrival & make us feel welcome. Vehicles are good, comfortable & well maintained. All game drives are well organised & drivers are excellent & knowledgeable of all species encountered. All reserves are different & descriptions are accurate & informative.

Once in a lifetime experience
Thanks to Caracal Tours and Safaris our stay in Tanzania became a once in a lifetime experience. The parcs we visited were of a stunning beauty, especially the Ngorongoro Crater. We not only saw the Big 5, but also a great variety of other animals. Ben was a very knowledgable, reliable and careful guide and driver. We enjoyed having lunch and dinner with him in the lodges and hear about Tanzania and share his view on the developments in this wonderful country.

I was looking for tours and what to do on trip advisor and I come across a recommendation from a gentleman to use falcon safaris. From the initial contact to my drop off to the airport , everything was perfect. My partner and I was most impressed. Vimbai, Essau and their team ensured that we were well looked aftered and that everything was in order. The guided tour of the falls, the helicopter ride and the sunset cruise was all carried out very professionally, we were dropped fetched and well taken care off. Excellent Service and wonderfull Safari
The booking was very easy and the tour operator was very flexible and open.
The tour itself (3 day tour to Selous NP) was excellent organized, the car was in a very good shape, the guide was a great driver, knew a lot about his country and the fauna and flora and was very guest minded.
All in all a perfect tour.

amazing!!!!
We had a great experience visiting Tanzania.Our guide/driver was well informed.He was always available o answer all our questions about safari in general snce this was our first safari.Serengeti is the best.Saw all big five.We would certainly recommend Savannah Explorers to future travelers.Roberto was very helpful from planning the trip to the end of the trip.
One thing we would like to share is that make sure your vehicle is in excellent condition.We were stuck with a subpar vehicle!!
Overall,the experience was very satisfying.We have about seven gamedrives in different parks.
We visited serengeti,lake Manyara,Ngorongo and tarangire national park.

Great people, amazing mountain
We climbed Kilimanjaro during a break from our volunteering in Northern Tanzania. We were a group of 20 or 21 and we all got to the summit. Can't explain the feeling. I come from Japan and Mount Fuji is a completely different experience. It made me feel like I can challenge my fears. The organization of the tour was perfect, great guide and great people in this company helped us with everything including the price.

A wonderful experience! The Somak people cannot do enough for you, cannot recommend highly enough.
I cannot express how well we were looked after, from the first minute of being greeted at Nairobi airport to the sad farewell to our Guide, Francis (Mappa)
The organisation, information and general attention to detail was second to none. We all felt very safe and no request was too much trouble.
If we wanted to be picky, the Lodge at Naivasha is getting a bit tired and was nowhere near the standard of the other two, but was still comfortable enough and the staff were very pleasant and accommodating.
The OUTSTANDING element of the Safari was no doubt FRANCIS! he was perfect, such a gentleman, courteous, so knowledgeable and obviously very well respected around the game parks by the other drivers and lodge staff. He could not do enough for us, always happy, always pointing out points of interest and generally happy to answer any questions and converse with us on any subject. The children loved him and wanted to bring him home!!! If there is a better guide in the whole of Kenya I would like to meet him because he would have to be something exceptionally special to surpass Francis!!!
Whoever books your guides please pass on our comments because if all your guides are as good as him then I am surprised if anyone would travel with another company, we would certainly make sure he was available, should we return! He is a great advertisement & ambassador for your company, Cherish Him!!!!!
With regards to our stay in Zanzibar, I again cannot fault this, the Gemma DELL EST definitely one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in!!!
