It was our first time in Africa, so I decided to book a tour operator to maximize our short time in the region. As I didn’t have any contacts, I decided to look up in the internet for tour operators.
I contacted about 5 of them, but from the minute I spoke to Melissa Oberholzer, I knew this was the tour operator I would choose! (Even though the prices of other operators were lower).
Melissa and her company provided an outstanding and efficient organization of what has been one of the best holidays of our lives!
Despite contacting her only 2 weeks before our trip, she was able to tailor make it exactly the way we wanted!. She put together a wonderful and very organized schedule so we were able to visit the best places that South Africa, Zambia and Namibia has to offer, in only 2 weeks!
Her disposition to organize such a wonderful trip in such a short period of time, plus her availability to answer every question we had (even at 11pm on a Saturday!) made our trip much more special, easier and relaxed.
We had the most wonderful time, and saw the most amazing sites in each of the countries we visited! But most importantly, the services that she chose for each of our stops (drivers, guides, hotels, etc), were excellent, extremely punctual and friendly. Everyone took great care of us while making sure we were happy and satisfied at all times.
All in all, it was really a wonderful and stress-free experience! And I would definitely hire their services again. I also recommend this tour operator to anyone planning to travel to Southern Africa.

One Day trip Vic Falls - Hwange National Park
We were picked up at our hotel promptly and started the drive. Joseph was informative on our drive to the park. Just before the park we stopped at a lodge where we met our safari guide and his vehicle. The vehicle was not in great condition but the sitting area for us was fine. Joseph accompanied us throughout the game drive in the park. Our safari guide/driver was very informative and tried to spot as many animals as possible. Unfortunately our vehicle had a mechanical problem and we had to retrace our steps within the park to wait for a replacement to arrive. The guide did extend our time in the park to compensate but we did drive back to the same area. I do not know what area we missed driving to because of this problem. We did get to see lots of wildlife. At the conclusion of the game drive Joseph drove us back to our hotel.
The price of this trip particular trip seemed rather high. In Vic Falls I did see one day Hwange trips being offered at a considerably lower price but since our trip had been booked and paid for in advance I did not inquire as to what the others offered.

I booked a custom safari in the southern parks of Tanzania (Ruaha NP, Mikumi NP and Selous GR) for my two daughters and me and get a unforgettable eight days trip full of amazing impressions. Although I contacted Kiliholiday Tours very late (less than a week before arriving in Africa) there were no problems to do the planning and everything was well prepared. We were picked up at the airportin Dar and dropped after a great journey at the ferry to Zanzibar. The communication with Mack is very fast and professional. It was a great pleasure to explore the beautiful wildlife with our experienced guides (Rama & John). Both of them shared willingly there big knowledge and were very patient with the kids. Thank you for that and a safe and very impressive trip. A Safari is great, with Kanuth even better! Awesome experience
Words are not enough to explain our experiences & impressions from this Safari. We did a 5-day-safari with Kanuth in Mikumi National Park and Selous Game Reserve and stayed in the Tan-Swiss Lodge (Mikumi) and the Hippo Camp Selous. I do not want to spend many words about the impressive nature and wild animals but more words about Kanuth himself who was our Safari guide and who is the owner. He is a great person with a great personality who made his calling to his profession. The entire safari was so well organized, Kanuth gave us impressive insights and you can really feel how passionate he is about his country, the animals & nature and his job. We also met his 2 brothers Immanuel and Joseph who work in Kanuth's company as well. Joseph was our chef in the Hippo Camp and he prepared real tanzanian food for us which was just delicious. By the way, the food was all the time excellent.
We did the game drive with a cool Toyota Landcruiser Jeep - exactly the car you expect for a Safari. Awesome! Kanuth is such a helpful person. When we arrived he picked us up at the airport and drove us to the hotel. 2 days later our Safari started. On the drive to Mikumi National Park Kanuth gave us a lot of insights about Tanzania, the people living there and the different cultures. You can feel very fast that he has a lot of experience in what he is doing. Already on the 1st day we saw young born Zebras and Impallas. plenty of Elephants and so on. The 2nd day was a full day game drive in Mikumi - again very impressive. Afterwards we spent with him 2 days in Selous Game Reserve. Totally different landscape than in Mikumi but again so impressive. Now as we are back home we really feel blown away by all the impressions we had.
would we do another Safari with Kanuth? Definitely yes. We can only recommend him and his company!!!

Great holiday of my life.
Good company to organize wildlife safari. We had a reasonable price as weigh against other tour operators. We did some research over the internet, reading reviews, asking questions with several safari companies but we decided to get Kiliholidays Tours because of good reviews and they answered every question promptly, we did the right pick. We had amazing visit Tanzania national parks. Many thanks to Mack and our jolly tour guide Godson who was easy to get along with, careful with his driving, very informative and always making sure that we are ok all the time. Godson made it all come true! He has a fantastic ability to "read our minds", we enjoyed and appreciate his wittiness and expert skills as we felt safe during the entire trip and because of him, I would definitely recommend Kiliholidays Tours.... with two thumbs up!!

A wonderful 2 weeks discovery tour of South Africa
Our holidays in South Africa were memorable. Everything worked perfectly and the itinerary was very well selected. The kids and myself enjoyed it very much.
Luckily a small medical emergency in Franschhoek did not impact the rest of the journey. It was very kind from the hotel to offer us an additional night to rest in case needed.
