That is perfect.

I met the guides who are Benji & Dulla. They were a good team. Benji drives safely and explains everything which I wondered. Plus, Dulla cooks our cuisine for outdoor. It makes our trip perfect! I highly recommend this company and these guides.

We had a wonderful experience in the parks with a great guide (thank you David!), great accommodation and food, all organised very easily. We really recommend them, and their prices are really fair

Helpful , professional, kind and great to work with
5/5

Excellent from start to finish. It was our first safari for our honeymoon. The communication was great before and during the trip. The collection at the airport smoothe and the safari was amazing. Hospitality and helpful friendly warm staff. Accommodation was great very large rooms. The guides were enthusiastic and great we saw all the animals on our drives. The food isn’t great if your vegetarian so only thing to be a little mindful of is bring some snacks. But the food if you’re not vegetarian is amazing.

Overperformed and great advice and guide
5/5

Shebby helped us very well and gave us a great price. The Tarangire + Ngorongoro safari was spot on and we saw what we wanted to see (Big Five) and even more. Great driver and guide Godson made sure we spotted all. Combination of Tarangiri and Ngorongoro is great because of difference in landscape etc.
Would recommend Vision and guide Godson

Had a great experience with MoAfrika from start to finish. We stayed in the fantastic Raddison hotel. Pickup from Johannesburg went smoothly, everyone was kind to us and we had only two other people in our car for the safari! Can highly recommend:)

Likana Safaris provided a trip of a lifetime!
5/5

From my first communications with the owner Bonny to every moment with our guide, now my friend, Andrew, this was an experience of a lifetime. Endless beauty everywhere. The people, the animals, the landscape, and to top it all off, the accommodations were something out of a movie! I kept thinking “how is this my life right now?!” The value for money is mind blowing. I never imagined the stunning accommodations I’d be in. I encourage anyone to reach out to Likana and start planning your dream trip. You won’t be disappointed.

Suggestions on tipping:
You meet so many amazing people along the way who share their knowledge, experience, and craftsmanship with you that you’ll want to bring a ton of small American bills to tip.

My trip was 10 days and I only bought $100 in small bills and needed to take out local currency to tip - outside of days where you’re trekking, I suggest having $20 per day in one and two dollar bills for tipping.

For days where you’re trekking, teams of 8-12 people are working to create an amazing experience for you - budget $20 for the guide, $20 for your porter and an additional $30 in small bills for other support team members.

While websites recommend $10 US/day for your safari guide, I recommend at least doubling that. Our guide spent New Year’s with us. After asking about his life and family we learned he was newly married. It turns out Andrew spent his 1st wedding anniversary with us all while having and a beautiful wife and six month old baby at home!

Other tips include:
- security (in the lodges a security person walks you to and from dinner at the lodge after dark to protect you from animals) - $2
- people who take your bags for you: $1
- housekeeping/laundry services: $2/day
- waiters/waitresses: $2-3 per meal
- community guides: $5 - $20
- traditional Knowledge Keepers:$2-$10
- Craftspeople (taught us how to weave!):$2
- Dancers: $2

Also, to shop, keep in mind, drinking water and electricity are not easily accessible to people and shopping in local shops has a big impact. I experienced the kindest people in local shops who actually gave me gifts after I made my purchases!

I can’t recommend this company enough. It was a trip of a lifetime with amazing new friends!

It’s the most amazing tour I’ve had.
5/5

The trip in kenya was so much fun. With Tekla answer all my questions, guide and driver Kioko is very good at finding animals. And other staff like Peter and Jami also help a lot during the tour.
Meet some new friends and have a great time in this trip. Gonna go back again.

The best New Year's trip
5/5

We were looking for a suitable tour operator to organise our safari and finally decided on Ways of Africa Travel. We have not regretted our choice! We chose a private tour with visits to Ambosela, Nakuru and the Masai Mara. All the details were discussed with Paul by email and as a result we got a customised tour. We are very grateful for the opportunity to pay for part of the tour in cash as it is difficult to transfer e-money out of our country at the moment. We started our journey from the hotel on the morning of the 1st of January and ended it at the airport in Nairobi on the 6th of January.
Our driver and guide was Frank, he is a true professional. He didn't just drive us around the parks, he answered all our questions about the animals and the culture of Kenya. During our tour we spontaneously decided to visit Lake Naivasha and Frank organised this without any problems.
The car was very comfortable and suitable for the safari, especially as we were travelling alone with my partner. We had an amazing time and saw many animals. We were particularly impressed by the herds of elephants grazing in Amboseli Park. Incredibly beautiful, majestic and wise animals!
I would also like to mention the camps we stayed in. We were pleasantly surprised that the camps were more like full hotels with buffets, pools and bars than tented camps. We particularly liked the camp next to Amboseli Park - Sentrim Amboseli Lodge, which is also home to many beautiful birds and a few dik-diks. Maili Saba Camp - is a long way from Nakuru, so we had to get up very early before the game drives, but the camp itself was very peaceful and the service was first class. Fisi Camp - was the simplest of all the camps we stayed at, nevertheless it was lovely to sit on the veranda at sunset and look out over the Masai Mara Park and see the giraffes and gnus walking around.
This trip was an unforgettable experience!
