Professional, friendly and reliable tour operator
4/5

I booked a 2-day safari with Vision Safari & Tours and was overall happy with the experience. Seamless communication (with Shebbie) ahead of the safari and my impression was that this is a professional, flexible and reliable tour operator. Everything was well organised and we had no issues during the safari. We visited Ngorongoro crater on the first day, which was amazing. The second day we only had few hours in Tarangire as we had to fly back to Zanzibar, and we didn't see as many animals (in Ngorongoro we saw 4 out of the big 5 - no leopard unfortunately). Beautiful park though! Accommodation, breakfast and dinner was good. Like I mentioned in my feedback after the safari, the two lunches could have been better for me as a vegetarian. While the others had rice, chicken and veggies, I was offered only rice and veggies - no alternative source of protein. The only other negative point was that our guide told us to pay a tip of $10 per person per day. He was a good guide and I think everyone would have tipped him anyway, but I felt a bit uneasy to be outright asked for it. Overall though, it was a very memorable experience!

Highly recommend!
5/5

This safari exceeded our expectations. Lake Manyara was stunning, with monkeys, giraffes, and hippos making an appearance. Serengeti was simply magical with the endless plains and abundant wildlife. We were lucky to witness the migration, and the glamping experience at Serengeti Wild Tented Camp was incredibly comfortable. The Ngorongoro Crater had us in awe with its abundant wildlife in a compact space. The food, accommodation, and service were top-notch, making this trip an amazing adventure. Highly recommend!

Very high value for the money spent. The coordinator was fantastic and clear on the itinerary. The driver was very professional and had tons of experience to look for animals.
Overall, I really enjoyed the tour with them.

Shavi Tours made our African honeymoon magical!
5/5

We enjoyed a private safari through the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, followed by a romantic beach getaway in Mafia Island. The guides were friendly, professional, and knew exactly how to make the experience special. Every aspect of the trip was flawlessly organized, and the accommodations were luxurious. Highly recommended for couples seeking an extraordinary adventure.

Luxury and Wildlife in Nairobi..
5/5

Me and my family November completed our second trip with African Hartebeest Safaris..
Our stay in Nairobi with African Hartebeest Safaris Ltd was incredible. From the luxurious Ole Sereni Hotel to the enriching visits to Nairobi National Park, the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, and the Karen Blixen Museum, every moment was well-planned. Jeremy’s knowledge of the city’s history and culture added depth to our experience. Nairobi’s vibrant markets and restaurants were the perfect way to end our tour.

A Lifetime of Memories on the Mid-Range Safari
5/5

We chose a mid-range lodge safari, and it was worth every penny! Timothy, our guide, ensured we didn’t miss any wildlife moments, from the elegant Rothschild’s giraffes in Lake Nakuru to the herds of elephants in Amboseli. The scenery of Mount Kilimanjaro in the background was magical. Bencia Africa Adventure & Safaris made the entire process seamless, and their 20+ years of experience truly shone through.

Wonderful!
5/5

My boyfriend and I had the trip of a lifetime with African Big Cat Safaris! The entire process, from booking to the actual safari, was seamless. The team was professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful.
Our guide Obed, was amazing! So knowledgeable, experienced, and kind. He always knew where to find the best wildlife and made the experience fun and unforgettable.
We can’t recommend African Big Cat Safaris and Obed enough. If you’re planning a safari, this is the company to choose!

Lions😍
5/5

Jocky tours was great value for money. As a solo traveler it was very difficult to arrange transportation on my own to amboselli and tsavo. In the end it was significantly easier and affordable to book the 5 day Masai mara, Nakuru and Naivasha safari with Jocky tours. Communications trough email with Hellen were prompt and professional. All national park fees are included and there were no hidden suprises when I arrived in Kenya.

This was my first time going on an african safari. As such I don’t have any point of reference.
The pick-up on the day of was early and I was able to snatch a good seat on their new 4x4 safari jeep. The journey from Nairobi to Amboselli was a long one. Luckily our driver Geeman, made several stops along the way for us to go to the bathroom and strech our legs. In the late afternoon after arriving at the Masai Mara he took us on a game drive. We saw elephants, lions and the African buffalo. The next day we saw many lions and a leopard. In Nakuru he showed us the white rhino completing the African big five! In Naivasha we did a boat ride around the lake. Some other tourist did crescent island. This is actually a hidden gem and a better experience than hellsgate national park (the last park of the trip).

What I liked:
- Our driver Geeman showed us many animals and was a very reliable driver. He got us everywhere safely and he wasn’t on the phone yapping the entire time like other safari vehicles.
- the hotel in Nakuru was actually an upgrade over the one mentioned in the correspondence over email.
- communication troughout the trip with jocky and the driver.

Points for improvement:
-different safari agents used the same vehicle. So there was a lot of waiting around to pick-up other guests as they were staying at different accomodation. It would have been more efficient if people staying at the same accomodation go on the same safari.

-I feel like we departed quite late for the Safari. Everyday was around 8am. Some safari groups left at 6 to be at the park when it opened. This increases the chances of seeing lions and leopards just roaming around. As such I am a little disappointed that we never left on a early morning sunrise safari. It also felt like we spent less time than we could have on the Safari.
I also specifically asked if we could leave earlier for hellsgate as it would be less hot. But this request was completely shut down.

-Time wasted being too early at some spots. On the 3rd day we departed from masai mara to visit the masai village. After that I feel like we could have drived around the area, maybe to spot some zebras up close. Instead we departed for the lunch stop. We were there almost 1 hour before lunchtime. So we had to wait around instead of for instance checking out some animals

Overall Jocky tours provide a very good value budget safari and I definitely enjoyed my self😄
