Awesome Safari experience! Thanks Gilmag for the excellent services
5/5

I had an incredible safari experience with Gilmag! From the moment I arrived, their attention to detail was impressive. They picked me up in Moshi at 9 AM on the first day, right on time, and provided a thorough introduction to the itinerary and planning for the upcoming days.

My contact person, Felix, was exceptionally warm-hearted. He checked in with me every day to ensure I was being well and to see if I needed any assistance. His care and attention to detail were truly commendable.

The hotel selection was unique and tailored to my needs, with meticulous filtering to ensure I was satisfied with each choice. I was delighted with every accommodation, which included a lodge, tent, and hotel, allowing me to rest comfortably after long days of adventure.

My guide, Prosper, was not only professional but also incredibly engaging. He had an extensive knowledge of the wildlife in each area and shared many fascinating stories about Tanzania, including insights into the Maasai way of life, the origins of various place names, and the habits of different animals. Every aspect of the service was meticulously planned, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable.

I highly recommend Gilmag for anyone looking for an unforgettable safari adventure!

The best experience ever thanks to Kla Adventures. Big thanks to Nuhu and our amazing tour guide Mac
5/5

Thanks to Nuhu, arranging our 5 day safari was very easy! He is very responsive and helpful! He was able to adjust the hotels as we wanted and even suggested a great lodge as he understood our needs!
Nuhu picked us up from the airport and drove us off to our hotel in Arusha.

We started from Arusha the next day to Tarangire, then Serengeti for 2 days, gorongoro and the final day is lake manyara.

Our tour guide, macdonald who has many years of experience was the perfect touch to our safari tour. He is very friendly and has extensive knowledge of all the animals and patiently answers all your questions.

We were very lucky but also most of this ‘luck’ is tied to Mac! We saw hundreds of elephants, girrafes, zebras, buffalo’s, hyenas but also in Gorongoro he did not want to leave before we were able to see the Rhino’s and tick off the big 5’s.
We were also able to see 2 leopards which are very hard to come across!

A big thank you to Mac, Nuhu and Kla adventures! İt was the best honeymoon!

Fantastic!
5/5

What a fantastic holiday we had, and we owe it all to Coosje and Alen from Mlima! They organised our safari down to the last detail, and everything was perfect. From start to finish we felt really in good hands. Their personal attention and care made all the difference and made us feel welcome straight away.

The safari itself was a dream come true, and that was largely due to Amani, our guide. Amani is not only incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about nature, but he is also so warm, friendly and patient. He made us feel safe and at ease, and his enthusiasm for the animals and the environment was infectious. We learnt so much and enjoyed every minute of it.

Thanks to Coosje, Alen and Amani this really was the holiday of a lifetime. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, heart-warming experience!

Best adventure ever! Our guide Douglas was outstanding and filled each day with amazing views of zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, elephants, buffalo, antelopes, and birds. And lions, cheetahs and even elusive leopards were spotted.
We really enjoyed the easy-going banter that our guide had with his colleagues. It made the trip so pleasant and stress free.

Friendly, personalized, reliable, and prompt service: the way to arrange the trip(s) of a lifetime
5/5

We took a family trip to Zimbabwe and Botswana last October. As expats, living in Africa for a few years, this was not our first safari trip, but was the first to these countries. Initially, we tried to book through another agent at another company, but we got embroiled in a dispute over pricing and policies. The lodges we wanted to stay at were advertising multiple discounts that could be combined, yet our original travel agent was claiming that she could only get one discount, but that we had to book with her, even though we had not signed a contract or paid a deposit.

At that point I happened to contact Pembury Tours to arrange another trip, based on their excellent reviews online. Anya responded promptly and helped me out with the new reservation, but she also provided me advice and moral support for the dispute about the Zimbabwe and Botswana trip. Not only did she help me resolve the matter with the first agent, but she ended up arranging our trip, got our combined set of discounts, and she became a good friend in the process.

This review is about the trip to Zimbabwe and Botswana we took based on Anya’s arrangements. I mentioned the rocky start already, but that was followed by another round of troubles. One of the lodges Anya had booked for us was partly destroyed in a wildfire (after we booked it). That lodge had to close for repairs and would not be able to honor our reservations. As soon as she found out, Anya called us proactively with news of the fire damage. She offered suggestions, then took our preferences, negotiated with other lodges in the area, and managed to get us to stay in a more upscale lodge for no additional costs.

Once the alternative lodging was secured, Anya followed up with information about the trip logistics, offered advice about activities at each of the three lodges, the transfers between locations, tipping guidelines, packing checklists, and the visa and health requirements. We felt very confident that we were in good hands with Anya: she had the information we needed and was very prompt and reliable in providing it whenever we needed it.

The trip itself was amazing. Anya’s advice was invaluable, and her arrangements made for smooth and reliable handoffs from each lodge to the transfer and to the next lodge, whether the transfer was by car, air, or a combination of the two. We had selected the lodges ourselves, but Anya confirmed that they would offer quality accommodations and food, which they did. Because the lodges were in different types of environments, we saw a wide variety of wildlife, land-dwellers, water-dwellers, and an incredible variety of birds. Going from Victoria Falls to the Khwai Private Reserve to the Okavango Delta, we felt transported from one amazing environment to an even more amazing one. The guides provided by the lodges were immensely knowledgeable, friendly, and very generous in sharing their knowledge with us. We could not have asked for anything better.

Following this trip, we have reached out to Anya with additional requests for travel and we have recommended her and Pembury Tours to all of our friends. There was a time when I was thinking how nice it would be to have a close friend or relative working on the inside, in the travel industry. My wish has come true: Anya is that friend, and our African travels are so much more rewarding and effortless thanks to her.

Both guides were very professional. Skilled drivers with a great understanding of the area
5/5

Wonderful experience! Our group saw every animal we could have imagined seeing and more! Extremely impressed with both Kulet and Ombeni and their driving skills and familiarity with the area! At no point during the trip was the group ever bored, always something to see or an interesting conversation to be had with the guides! I would recommend this trip to anyone who is looking for an adventure!
