We did an 11-day tour in Rwanda (with gorilla tracking in Uganda) with Bernard Mugisha and True Vine Safaris. Bernard was the best guide: pleasant, reliable, knowledgeable, ready to accommodate plans whenever possible according to our needs. Communication through WhatsApp was very easy and clear from the beginning; we asked him many times to change the itinerary as we could not decide what to focus on, and he was very quick in answering with suggestions of what best met our wishes. He showed high reliability and also provided good companionship during our trip, being present and discrete at the same time. The experiences we had in Rwanda were among the best of our lives. I 100% recommend booking with them!

The water activities and sundown dinners were simply magical, reflecting their deep knowledge of the island and their ability to offer the very best. When our baby had a small accident, their swift organization of immediate care was nothing short of heartwarming—it was like it never happened!

Fantastic Kilimanjaro trek with Tuliza and Spirit
I did the Lemosho route to Uhuru summit solo. Originally planned to do 7 days, but agreed with my guide Tuliza to do it in 5 days if I was able to acclimatise and therefore have more time in Zanzibar at the end of my trek. I did do it in 5 days and Tuliza and his team were fantastic - great communication, information and problem solving from Tuliza and great food from the chef. Would thoroughly recommend Spirit and Tuliza in particular. It was a great experience generally and doing it in January with no rain and a clear summit every morning maximised the experience.
Note: one piece of feedback would be improved communication ahead of the trek, including with respect to how I could pay the balance - I had to pay the balance + 6% in fees a few days before the trek because I paid via card. Had I known this earlier I would have made arrangements to withdraw cash (& withdrawing such a large amount on vacation in Tanzania is not easy).

Budget Safari…you get what you pay for I guess? You get everything that is described however 4 days and we are put with 3 different transport vehicles and groups.
We spent the entire of day 3 waiting around and driving, if you don’t want to do any of the optional add ons you spend the entire day sitting around. Overall had a good time but seems a bit disorganised.

Jordan truly made the experience unforgettable. His deep knowledge of wildlife, local culture, and the best routes for spotting animals brought our safari to life. He was always patient, engaging, and went out of his way to ensure we had the best views of the Big Five and so much more. His sharp eye for spotting animals was incredible—whether it was a cheetah camouflaged in the grass or a distant pride of lions, he made sure we didn’t miss a thing.
The accommodations arranged by Meijo Safaris were top-notch, blending comfort with a connection to the stunning landscapes. Each day was a new adventure, and we always felt safe and well taken care of.

Very experienced and professional
Our safari was a 10-day trip in Kenya and Tanzania. Meijo Safaris managed to contact a Kenyan safari operator on our behalf, saving us a lot of time. We had full control over our itinerary and accommodations, and Meijo Safaris adjusted the quote accordingly and in a timely manner. Our communication with them has been very smooth and honest.
We also want to recommend our safari guide, Jordan. He was super helpful in finding the best spots for photos. We saw rhinos once, cheetahs and leopards twice, and lions and elephants countless times. (We even saw lions eating a giraffe!) He always knew where to go, offering us the best safari experience. 👍👍👍
