Amazing and Intimate Experience
We absolutely loved the travel experience provided by African Welcome Safaris. Kathi booked every detail and shared the information and documents that we needed pre-travel. It was an amazing experience and surpassed our expectations! I would absolutely recommend African Welcome Safaris and use the company again if we were to return to the country.

Great experience on Kilimanjaro and Safari
We climbed Kilimanjaro with the Bushland Adventure Travel team and then went on safari with Bushland in Tarangiri Park and the Ngorongoro Crater. Everything was well organised from start to finish.
When we climbed Kilimanjaro, the campsites in the individual camps were carefully selected. At Barafu Camp in particular, at 4600 metres, we had an excellent, wind-protected spot. The summit experience was unique. The team accompanied us safely to the summit and back down again. The cook always prepared excellent meals. We were looked after attentively throughout the entire tour. We would like to thank the entire team for this unforgettable experience.
Vincent, our driver and guide on the safari, was our absolutely reliable and attentive companion. He drove carefully and safely on the road, which was very important to us. Vincent showed enormous patience on the difficult roads in the parks. He always had a keen instinct for being in the right place at the right time. He spotted the big cats in the tall grass that would have completely escaped our attention. We repeatedly saw a herd of elephants with babies and other animals crossing the road right in front of our vehicle. We will never forget these experiences.

A perfect choice for a fantastic adventure and magical experience.
An amazing journey and experience from start to finish. We did a three-day safari and a fourth day with a hike to the first base of Kilimanjaro. We reached out to Makini and a few other operators as early as August and quickly decided on Makini. Naomi, who was our contact person, was very professional and answered all our odd questions within hours. She was extremely helpful with arranging accommodations, airport pickups, and more.
We highly recommend Makini, who also ensured we spotted the Big Five. Our driver was fantastic at locating all the animals, and the chef was magical at creating amazing meals out of nothing. We can’t recommend Makini enough

Professional and excellent
They are so professional, and neat on every details in the safari plan. All staff are helpful, knowledgeable, and nice. I never had a tour in my life that went that well as Savannah Exp. had provided. Accomodations were the best ones possible in the national park, quite clean and functional. All food were clean, delicious with multiple options. Our driver is the best on explaining the wild life and catching the best possible scenes of lions, cheetahs, and a leopard ( mid-January). Thank you to our guide (Isaac Long) and Savannah Explorer team (Sultan) who made a tailored programme for us during our honeymoon and they fully customized itineraries with respect to our needs and requests. We had beautiful memories and best holiday ever, thanks to them. We would like to go to Tanzania again in our 5th of anniversary in dry seasons(July) even ☺️
For Zanzibar, they chose one of the best hotels in the best beach side (Nungwi) for our honeymoon. Our driver there were also so nice and fluent in English, helpful.

Great Tour, Great Guide, Great Experience, Amazing Accomodation.
We did a 3 day safari around Tanzania with Migration Venture Africa (MVA) in Jan '25. We were originally a bit nervous about the number of moving parts present in the safari however, we needn't have been.
Communication from MVA (via Amos) via email was prompt and always answered our questions. We were picked up from the airport by our guide, Josef, and went straight into our first day of safari.
Josef was brilliant on safari, he answered all our questions and seemed to have a sixth sense for finding a great viewing spot, even when it got relatively crowded. He also gave some interesting insights into local culture and what 'normal' Tanzanian life is like, which we really appreciated.
Josef would explain the plan for the next day as he dropped us off at our lodge and he was always ready and waiting for us (even though we were bang on with our timings).
In terms of Value for Money the tour price felt exactly right, especially given the invredible quality of our accommodation and number of parks we visited.
As Brits, we dislike the tipping culture. Although we understand that it's more common in other cultures, we would have preferred if the guides were paid fairly and the costs of this built into the upfront booking fee, perhaps add a digital service charge to the booking, avoiding the 'hidden cost' feeling.
All in all we'd thoroughly recommend Migration Venture Africa for anyone who wants to explore any of the national parks.

Warm, welcoming, and adaptable
We had a fabulous time and got to experience many of Arusha’s attractions in only one day! Our tour guide Enock was amazing and we felt very comfortable all day :)

Great Safari
It was great three days of safari thanks to Lameck & Safari360. We got to see the big 5 & had a cultural tour in the process. Nothing but praises & recommendations.

Best Tour Around at a Great Price
We highly recommend Safari Soles for your Tanzania adventure.
We completed a 9 day tour in mid-January that included 6 days on safari (Tarengerie, Lake Manyara (day & night), Southern Serenghetti, Ngorongoro Crater), and a day each exploring Arusha city, the Datoga & Hadzabe tribes, and hiking a little bit of Kilimanjaro. They’re very willing to customize an itinerary to fit your desires while staying within a budget.
Our safari driver, Isaack, may be the best one in Tanzania. He is kind, caring, & organized, and his experience navigating the parks & large network of friends allow you to see a lot of animals. He truly loves his job and wants his guests to leave happy, even if it means sitting with animals for a while to witness something special or take the perfect photo (he has a knack for getting the best parking spot). Overall, we spotted at least 85 different animal species, including the African Big Five and a few less common ones. Granted, we woke up early per Isaack’s suggestion since it gave us more time to see and be with the animals (we were first guests in two parks).
The complimentary drinks on the clean jeep are plentiful, and the mid-range lodges & camps are all well-maintained (some having air conditioning & WiFi). Food throughout the trip was tasty, which included a variety of country-grown vegetables & rice, and traditional meats & seafoods. They offer mostly hot meals, which are far superior to the boxes that other companies mostly offer.
Shout out to Chief & Andrew for assisting us on city & hiking days, respectively.
We have zero complaints; it’s hard to believe there is a better company than Safari Soles, and all the money they make stays in Tanzania since they’re locally owned. We will miss Tanzania, and especially Isaack, who we consider family now since that’s how he treated us all week.

Fantastic safari tour
We had a fantastic time on our safari tour with our guide Emmanuel. He was so knowledgable about all the animals and could tell us everything about all the animals and birds we saw. We were a family of four and we all think that these four days on safari were the best time of our whole trip to Kenya and Tanzania. It was wonderful to see how Ndutu Green Explorers exceeded all their promises and we experienced through the whole safari such a high quality of accommodation, meals and game drives. We always felt safe and really well taken care of. Emmanuel always listened to our wishes and showed us genuine hospitability.
The plan that we made was really optimal: we were able to see Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Southern Serengeti in four days and experience so many wild animals on our way. The great plan was made possible with Emmanuel’s long experience as a guide and of course by Tom’s patience to meet all our questions before the trip and his creativity to build the package so that all the puzzle pieces perfectly fell into their places from the pick up from Arusha airport all the way to our transfer back to Nairobi.
Thank you so much for making this safari tour a such a memorable experience!

Amazing and incredible trip in Uganda
We recently went on an unforgettable local tour in Uganda that included a thrilling safari tracking Africa’s Big 5 and an awe-inspiring experience with the silverback gorillas. Our guide, Francis, was exceptional throughout the trip. He was not only extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife but also incredibly caring and patient.
During the tour, my girlfriend fell ill, and Francis went above and beyond to help. He recommended and helped us order Dawa tea, a healthy and sweet local drink that worked wonders in alleviating her symptoms. His kindness and attentive service made a world of difference in our experience.
We feel incredibly lucky to have had Francis as our guide. He truly made our trip memorable and enjoyable. If you’re planning a tour in Uganda, I highly recommend requesting Francis for an extraordinary and heartwarming adventure.
