Excellent Safari & Hiking Trip
We booked 2D/1N trip from Dar Es Salaam to Tarangire national park and Kilimanjaro slopes, Materuni Waterfalls.
Everything went smooth from pick up from our Hotel in Dar Es Salaam, flight to Arusha and day Safari in Tarangire National Park. Our driver and guide Morgan, managed to bring us to see the lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, warthogs and lot other wild animals. We had picnic lunch at a park with a beautiful view to a valley and a river. The next morning we went to Kilimanjaro slopes, with a photo stop to see beautiful clear view of Mount Kilimanjaro. The hiking to Materuni waterfalls was easy and refreshing, our guide on the second day, Sam, explains lots of information on the vegetation of the park. We had lunch at a coffee plantation, with an interesting coffee making demonstration.
Our 2 days tour was an experience that enriched our souls.

Terrible experience Mud poured over our heads and clothes got dirty but no support
We faced a terrible experience during the tour. Mud and muddy water poured over our head and clothes got dirty but no support nor compensation from the guide.
The tour was held on a clowdy day with some rain and the ground was so muddy.
The car the guide used was a van, HIACE (not the land clouser or something) and the car hight was not enough to avoid splash mad or even to run the bad road.
So we closed the window and opened the roof to watch animals.
The case was happened when we crossed a big puddle. Even though the car is not tall enough to cross it and there was an alternative detour to avoid it, the driver plunged into it and after a few seconds , the car hit a pothole and mud (and water) heavily splashed and they poured into our heads and clothes from the opened roof.
Please let me echo that if it was of course
avoidable because 1) there was an alternative detour to avoid the puddle and 2) there were a few seconds for the driver to stop and turn back before hitting the pothole (the mud splash was kept happening).
After the incident, we asked to the support team to seek any compensation but they just said apologies.
We are very disappointed for the experience without professionalism.

Great tour with Chris Sanyu of Native Africa Tours. He was considerate, knowledgeable, honest, caring and an excellent driver. We all loved him.
The tour included all hotels, meals, tours and transportation for the 5 of us in a customized safari vehicle for 14 days at just $4,500 (without airfare) per person. Itineraries can be designed around your interests and time available. Highly recommend Chris and his team if you want a fabulous Africa adventure.

Incredible nature sights and educative tour guide in Mikumi National park
I traveled with Kihindo Tours and Safaris to Mikumi National Park in December, accompanied by three friends. Our tour guide, William, picked us up from our accommodation in Dar es Salaam early in the morning, around 6 a.m., and we drove together to our hotel near the park. In the evening, we visited a Maasai village where we had the opportunity to take part in a Maasai tour. The guide taught us about their way of life and showed us around, which was an enriching experience. We then returned to the hotel and enjoyed dinner at their restaurant.
The following day began with breakfast at 6 a.m., followed by a short drive to the national park. On the way, we already saw several animals, including zebras, antelopes, and giraffes. We quickly realized that luck was on our side, as we managed to spot four of the Big Five in just a few hours (there are no rhinos in Mikumi, which is the fifth of the Big Five). Throughout the day, William, our exceptional guide, took the time to explain the characteristics of each animal we encountered and answered all of our questions with great care. Lunch was served at a restaurant within the park, where we were accompanied by monkeys roaming around the area, all while enjoying a beautiful view of the savannah. We ended the game drive around 5 pm and were served dinner back at the hotel.
On the second day of the safari, the weather turned rainy, but this did not bother us, as we were in a vehicle with a roof—unlike most other safari companies we observed. It was actually quite beautiful to witness the dramatic transformation of the landscape as the rain began, and it added to the surreal feeling of being immersed in nature. We informed William that we wanted to experience a more relaxed, "slow TV"-style safari, simply watching the animals at our own pace, which he was more than happy to accommodate. His flexibility and attentiveness made the experience even more enjoyable, and I appreciated this personal touch, which was a major advantage of having a private guide.
On the third day, we had a travel day, as we drove back to Dar es Salaam and were dropped off at the ferry terminal for our trip to Zanzibar. Overall, it was a highly enjoyable experience, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Kihindo Tours and Safaris to anyone considering a safari in Tanzania.

They were helpful, efficient, knowledgeable, and supportive.
Overall, my experience with Moroka was amazing. I gave them my dates and a few things I wanted to do and they put together and amazing itinerary for me for a great price and my tour guide was even able to add more activities on as we went. Everything was taken care of and organized and they were always available to answer questions and support wherever needed. I would absolutely recommend them and my tour guide William who was also amazing.

Excellent organisation with quick responses and very helpful overall
Everything was handled very easily by Informative African Tour.
Gift was able to clearly explain what the tour included and two payment options were provided.
On the day, the tour was very well organised and we were able to see nearly all of the animals. We were also provided a delicious lunch and drinks throughout.
The driver, Simon, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly through.
10/10. Would highly recommend.

Twinkle Star is the best!
10/10 would recommend safari tours through Twinkle Star. Our driver, James, was amazing. Not only was he an amazing driver, but very friendly and pleasant to spend time with. He taught us lots about the culture and landscape of Kenya. He also went to college and studied wildlife so he had so much knowledge about everything we saw on our game drives. There was not one question he didn't know the answer to! The car, modified Land Cruiser, was cleaned every day, very comfortable, and super capable on tough roads and mud as well as river crossings. James, the owner of Twinkle Star, (same name, different person), was also an amazing host. We felt taken care of the entire time and he was super accommodating for us with anything we needed. We would book with twinkle star again if we were to go back to Kenya for another trip.

Hugely helpful!
Brenda was amazing in helping put together a wonderful trip for us! She was very adept at figuring out how to incorporate our safari experience into a rather packed travel schedule. Our guide was fantastic, and added his own suggestions for our daily experiences that made them super special, including a side trip to the Olduvai Gorge and Shifting Sands that was incredible. First class hospitality.

Great holiday destination
Why have I not visited South Africa before? I’m not sure but I’m glad I finally did! Such an impressive beautiful country full of beautiful people with so much to see and do. My 10 day visit to Cape Town and the Cape province was short but I managed to pack in winery visits in Stellenbosch, Elgin and Franschhoek, a two day visit to a private game reserve and a few days in Cape Town including a trip to the top of Table Mountain. Great food and wine. All very cost effective. The exchange rate helps.
So many more things to do and see. Will be back soon.
