A Wonderful Safari Experience
5/5

First of all, we took the Safari trip after we had climbed the Kilimanjaro.
We were with the four of us and regarded the Safari as the icing on the cake.
And indeed it was; no disappointments whatsoever. Our main guide and Four wheel driver 'Philemon' (don't know if i wrote his name correct) was outstanding. He could spot Wildlife where we had no idea there was any. The man must have had eagle eyes ha ha. He was always willing to drive a little further or back just for that beautiful photo shot, and on the go told you all about the animals and landscape. The accomodation was various, meaning, one day we would sleep in tents in the middle of Serengeti, another day in a sort of 'holiday' resort. But wherever we went there was always good food to fuel yourself after another day of photoshooting and last but not least execellent sleeping accomodation. Even in the middle of Serengeti, surrounded by wildlife, I felt safe, in the knowledge that an excellent staff was safeguarding us. All in all I would do it straight again if my employer would give me more holidays :-) . The people of Tanzania Serengeti Adventure Ltd., where we booked this Safari, were very friendly, professional and helpful.

Amazing South African experience
5/5

Christine Boecker arranged a trip to South Africa for part of my family, including two 10 year old grandchildren.
The experience was "over the top" for all 6 of us! There were so many highlights that it would be difficult to list them in a short review. It was a lifetime experience that we all thoroughly enjoyed and will fondly remember.
The flights on the airlines, both getting there and back as well as in S.A., were terrific and the accommodations perfect when we were there.
The hotel in Cape Town was the best ever and the private game reserve offered facilities, Safari experiences and staff that one could normally only hope for. To observe all the wildlife, including the "Big 5", was unforgettable and, to have a Rhino seriously consider charging us, an unexpected adrenalin rush. I look forward to going back!

Safari was incredible!
5/5

Hi Paula,
I was meaning to write to you a while ago but things get so busy after holiday....

Safari was incredible!! Jimmy, our guide was absolutely amazing! He really tried hard to make this experience very special for us, always taking into account that we have a young child. He was very helpful and accommodating and has a great knowledge of resorts and animal species so we managed to see so much! the accommodation was also perfect - both lodges are very beautiful and in tune with the nature. We had great time and warmly recommend you and your agency to all our friends.

Many thanks once again for all your help and for making this trip such a wonderful and unforgettable experience.

Kind regards.

We are very happy about the service in the Masai Mara and also about kind help of the driver who was assisting us in Nairobi. I will be very happy to refer to you any of my friends who decide to visit Kenya.

Wild wise
5/5

The Safari in Serengeti NP was exciting, not only by the wild encounters, but also by the guidance of Ute of Roho Ya Chui.
Utes mission, vision, operational abilities, transportation, lodges, were excellent, and her attention for details in service, philosophic attitude and wisdom were an extra gift. She is a photo-genius. She knows how to touch and snap the essence. Ute is a ‘’Wildwhisperer’’, empathetic in locating, meeting, and ‘’culture’’ of animals, including birds. She can make animals at ease and curious. Up to: ‘’listen what they tell you’’. I give her 5 stars!

Trip of a lifetime
5/5

We just got back from a 21 day safari with Jenman Safaris. We started at Victoria Falls, traveled through Botswana, Namibia and ended in Cape Town, South Africa. We did a 1/2 camping, 1/2 lodging trip and the entire trip was beyond our wildest dreams. We had an incredible tour guide (thank you Jorge), the accommodations ranged from modest to what we would consider 5 star, the food was always good. The trip was well organized and took us to a variety of places including small villages, national parks and cities. I still can't believe the number of animals that we saw or the different landscapes. I would recommend this trip and Jenman Safaris for anyone that wants to have a great African experience.

It was a great expierience
5/5

We did a 8 day safari, 4 days walking in Loita Hills, 4 days Gamedrive in Nationalparcs.
We had a cook and a driver and the car was always available. The walking with the Masai was a great experience and the Gamedrive was also nice. We had the luck to see Hunting dogs.
The cook prepared excellent food and we were always well lokked after.
Thanks OT also for your help the last day in Nairobi and bringing us to the airport.

Tsavo West - the mountainous rustic gem of the Kenyan safari parks.
Overall rating
4/5

Tsavo West was one of three national parks we visited while in Kenya, along with Amboseli and Tsavo East. Each of these parks has its own special characteristics and charms. Of the three, Tsavo West is certainly the least visited, which helps to give it a more secluded and natural feel. The relative lack of tourists means that even when impressive groups of animals are spotted, only a few safari vehicles will converge, and so are less likely to spook them away. Additional plusses for Tsavo West are that the terrain provides a beautiful backdrop as this park is the most mountainous of the three, and that there was the opportunity to see animals that we were not able to spot elsewhere. For example, Tsavo West was the only park where we observed leopards, hippos (at the Mzima Springs pools within the park), and several kinds of monkeys. Mzima Springs in particular was an exceptional treat since it was one of the few opportunities on safari to leave the jeep while in a park, though in exchange, the guides needed to be armed just in case a hippo or other large animal decided it did not like our presence. Luckily, incidents almost never occur, so the result is just that one can get closer to the natural environment and have a slightly elevated sense of adventure while doing it. Tsavo West also contains a black rhino preserve, though we were unable to see any rhinos while there. Not being able to see a rhino was perhaps the only major downside with our visit, though I am sure other visitors don’t have this kind of bad luck. Others potential criticisms of the park are that because it is so remote, the lodging services are a little rougher and that because of the terrain, there are no locations to get expansive photos of hundreds of animals of different species together as far as the eye can see. We personally found the lodging in the park to be pleasantly rustic, and thought the change of background scenery provided a good compliment to the other parks on the trip. Assuming you can fit it in your itinerary, a visit to Tsavo West is certainly recommended along with the other fine parks in the Kenyan park system.

Trip of our lifetime :)
5/5

From Kilimanjaro to Safari in Tarangire National Park, Ngorogoro Crater and Serengeti - it was awesome, a once in a lifetime experience and perfectly organized!

Safari Big 5 organized us a great tracking team up to the Kilimanjaro and with them we made it to the top!!!!

Also within our safari trip it was perfectly taken care of us. We slept in amazing lodges with great lunch and dinner and had a great driver who knew a lot about the animals and spotted the big 5 for us and every animal we wanted to see.

We can totally recommend booking a trip with Safari Big 5 - great value for the money! We don't think that you can get these trips any cheaper for this kind of comfort and fun!!
