Great Guide! Flexible Company
5/5

For the most part the company did a good job of communicating particularly over WhatsApp. By far our highlight was our guide Rocky. Great Safari!

Amazing
5/5

We decided to book our safari with a local agency, and after our research, we chose Jungle Roam Safari.

We contacted Chesi, who was very attentive to our needs and concerns when designing our private tour based on our preferences. In our case, we did a 5-day, 4-night safari, visiting Amboseli, Nakuru, and Masai Mara. The selected hotels met our expectations, offering comfort and a good variety of food. A special mention goes to the SOPA LODGE chain.

Our guide, Rodger, was always attentive and available to our needs. He provided us with a lot of information about the country, its culture, and especially the parks.

Rodger knows the parks perfectly, explaining everything about their wildlife at all times and selecting the best routes and schedules for our safari. His deep knowledge of the area allowed us to see all the species in the parks we visited.

The highlight of our trip was experiencing “The Big Five.” Simply breathtaking.

Thank you so much for this incredible adventure—we will never forget it!

Just good enough.
3/5

Generally speaking, the experience was quite good. However, there were some points that we did not like at all.

First of all, the visit to the "Masai village" from the Enkorok Mara Camp hotel. The hotel is very nice. However, we had a very bad experience with the visit to the “Masai village”. It is not worth visiting it at all. We were 2 adults and 1 kid. We pay 70$ for a 15-20 minutes visit plus the big market that they make ready just after finishing the visit to try to sell to you different kind of items.

Regardless of the cost, the worst point was the feeling we got after the visit. We felt that the only and main aim of the visit was to get money from the foreigners, not to show a real Masai village.

The hotel itself is not directly involved in this visit/activity, but they are aware of the situation. In fact, one of the hotel staff members were directly involved in the visit as an inhabitant of the Masai village. Therefore, they should advise their clients about the details of the activity.

Second one, we got the feeling that our guide was "just doing his job" without providing any extra advice or knowledge of many points related to the trip. For example, he does not advise us on how to deal with the shopping at the markets. He neither advise us on the visit to the Masai village. In fact, he even recommended us to go to the Masai village.

Therefore, it could have been quite better.

Well organized, highly professional, and offered a once in a life time opportunity.
5/5

Booked a private 3-day tour to Amboseli. The process from start to finish was well organized and highly professional, which led a smooth once in a life time experience. Several people in the office were quick to respond to my many questions via email prior to the tour. We were very fortunate to have John as our guide. He was thoughtful (for example, would turn down the radio while we were viewing the wildlife) and experienced (has a lot of knowledge about the land and animals and highly skilled at driving through difficult terrain), and it was obvious to me that he tried much harder than other guides around us to ensure we had the best view of the animals. I will happily recommend Jocky Tours to others.
