I’ll never forget this very experience, the mountains, wildlife, people and the various cultures. Our leader Titus is really nice and always kind. He is a professional animal-seeker and naturalist! We’ll come back one day and select Baboon again!

Simon was amazing!!!
5/5

The experience was amazing and very well planed by Safari Soles. Our organiser, Vivian, was great throughout and very easy to get hold of before the trip to plan anything. She even set up a few surprises for us as it was a special birthday trip!

The absolute highlight for us was our driver Simon who had so much knowledge and wasn't put out by anything if it was long drives, tough animals to find, or even challenging terrain. He would go everywhere and anywhere to give us the best possible experience and we cannot thank him enough for such am amazing time from the moment we met him at Kilimanjaro airport with a massive smile on his face. He was so welcoming and went above and beyond to make the trip as special as possible. I proposed to my partner on the trip and even despite our long game drives, he would go away in the evening and plan surprises with the camp staff, or the balloon safari organisers etc... It was as if he was a local celebrity as everyone knew him and all the drivers were constantly asking Simon where the best places to go on the radio. We were truly blessed to have him as our tour guide throughout the trip. We felt so lucky to have Simon as our guide. He even had his own professional camera which meant we could spend every moment with the animals and he would share photos with us at the end of each day (which were incredible / professional quality). This attention to detail, and always thinking about us first made us feel like we truly lucked out with Simon.

We would like to thank Safari Soles, Vivian and especially Simon for making it a trip of a lifetime!

Exceptional and unforgettable visit to the Pearl of Africa!
5/5

I had a wonderful experience with Buffalo Safari Camps. After researching several tour operators, I chose them not only because they are Uganda’s only Fairtrade-recognised tour company but also because of Tim, the owner, who was incredibly responsive, accommodating, and proactive. He refined my itinerary that maximised my experience of Uganda while staying within my budget (without compromising quality).

My guide, Eddie, was outstanding—knowledgeable, attentive, and always ensuring I felt safe and well cared for. His deep understanding of Uganda and its hidden gems ensured that every activity was both meaningful and supportive of local communities, and seamlessly accommodated any last-minute requests.

I would book with Buffalo Safari Camps and Eddie again, and highly recommend them to anyone seeking an ethical, immersive travel experience in Uganda.

Professional and very accommodating, with a great depth of knowledge about MFNP
5/5

My three day Murchison Falls NP adventure with guide Jimmy was an incredible few days seeing so much wildlife, as well as the fantastic falls on the Victoria Nile. His knowledge of the area, and where the animals would be, meant we saw a large number of lions, elephants, giraffes, antelope, monkeys and many different bird species. His professionalism and reliability, as well as flexibility in the program to optimize opportunities and time available, made it a memorable and action packed few days. I would highly recommend Jimmy and Semu Gorilla Safaris and Tours to make the most of a visit to MFNP.

Our lovely guide is Yasin!
We spent a wonderful week together, and he made a lasting impression on us with his exceptional driving skills and professional guiding expertise.
He is not only an outstanding driver but also a knowledgeable expert on animals, patiently sharing fascinating insights with us.
Furthermore, he thoughtfully planned our daily itinerary, ensuring our journey was both fulfilling and enjoyable.
I highly recommend him and look forward to choosing him again should I visit this place in the future.

Incredible 3 days Gorilla and Golden Monkey Trekking in Uganda & Rwanda. Everything went so smoothly
5/5

We did the 3 day Gorilla Trekking (Uganda) and Golden Monkey Trekking (Rwanda). Before the tour the communication with both the tour operator and, closer to the tour dates, our guide Medard was great. Any questions we had were answered promptly. Our guide Medard was fantastic, his English was great and he gave us loads of information about Uganda and Rwanda throughout the tour and answered all our questions. If he didn’t know the answer he made a point to find out and let us know later. He kept us updated with the itinerary each day and handled everything for us when crossing borders or arrived at accommodation. We booked the budget package but the accommodation was still great value for money. The gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is breathtaking. The whole project is so well run and they explain how the community and the gorillas all benefit from they way the conservation project runs. We got to spend a full hour observing the gorillas at really close proximity, which was extremely special. We also enjoyed the golden monkey trek. Medard ensured we stuck to the itinerary and everything ran so smoothly. I can’t recommend this tour and our guide Medard enough. It’s a trip we will never forget!

Fantastic tour with Isaac organized by Tubale Safaris
5/5

We had a great 8-day tour of Uganda that included the Rhino Sanctuary, Safaris, Boat tours and Chimpanzee as well as Gorilla tracking. Annet did a great job at organizing our trip on a short notice.
Our guide Isaac was a fantastic tour guide - he was very friendly, punctual, organized, an excellent driver and incredibly well connected with the rangers and other guides at the parks, which helped a lot in seeing lions three times on our safari as well as a leopard.

An operator with tender-care policy by close follow-up of the clients in a polite and no-fuss manner
5/5

I booked my tour nearly 6 months earlier. The managing director of the company, Nicholas, was at regular intervals in touch with me through WhatsApp in a polite and professional manner with no-fuss approach, just to say hello that I haven’t been forgotten! Even during the tour, he followed me up once a while.
I had a great experience during my 12-days of gorilla, chimpanzee and wildlife adventure. My main goal and longtime expectation which was gorilla & chimpanzee tracking was fulfilled. I would say it was a privilege for me to observe these wonderful animals within a short range in their rich surrounding forests. Otherwise, I was impressed by the beautiful nature of Uganda. Everywhere!
My daily guide as well as driver, Reagan, was a very skilled guy with wide & deep knowledge (wildlife, society etc.)., which added extra to my wildlife experience. I learned a lot.
Tasty and good quality food served at the lodges with professional services shall be appreciated. Some of the lodges I stayed were built eco-friendly with spectacularviews.
