Unforgettable adeventure with Serengeti Luxury Safaris!
5/5

Me and my partner recently returned from the most incredible 5 day safari with Serengeti Luxury Safaris, and we can't recommend them enough! From start to finish, everything was perfect.

The team was super helpful and responsive throughout the entire planning process. We had a lot of questions, and they were always quick to answer via WhatsApp, which was so convenient. We chose Serengeti Luxury Safaris because they stood out with their personalized service. They were incredibly responsive and flexible, making us feel like valued clients from the very first interaction. They went above and beyond by meeting us on-site the day before and after our safari to ensure everything went smoothly. They even helped us arrange accommodation in Arusha, transfers, and everything else we needed – all with no extra costs!

Our guide, Frank Sabore, was an absolute highlight of our trip! His knowledge and passion for the wildlife, nature, and culture were infectious. He not only taught us so much but also showed us incredible things we never thought we'd experience, for example a pride of lions feasting on a kill, and an offroad safari to see even more cool things - more private. Beyond his expertise, Frank made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire journey. We laughed, learned, and explored together – it felt like traveling with a friend. Trust me, ask for Frank when you book – you won't regret it!

We loved that Serengeti Luxury Safaris clearly values sustainability. We were particularly struck by their efforts to minimize waste, such as eliminating single-use items like lunchboxes and cutlery, and ensuring that all food leftovers were responsibly managed, This eco-conscious approach enhanced our safari, making it even more enriching and meaningful.

We felt safe and secure throughout the entire trip, and Frank ensured we saw everything we hoped for and more! This was truly the best trip ever, and we highly recommend Serengeti Luxury Safaris and Frank Sabore, to anyone looking for an unforgettable safari adventure.

Safari Tips:
- Go private, skip the shared tours if you are not traveling alone. You'll have more space, comfort, and flexibility.
- Drinks & lunch are provided during the day, but pack extra snacks for the long drives.
- Drinks at dinner aren't included. Pay with cash or card (USD or TZS) onsite at the accomodation.
- Ask for the tipping box at accommodations to share gratuities with the staff to make the tipping easier for you.
- Don't forget to tip your guide! We gave our tip in the end of the safari.

Amazing Safari Trip!!
5/5

We loved our trip with Serengeti African Tours and we really recomend this company to everyone.

Our amazing guide David was the best! He are so kind, funny and always find the best spot to see the animals. We had a very good time with him and he got a place in our hearts. He will always do the best for the tourists experienced.

Lina, who we communicated with before and sometimes during the Safari was so kind and made us feel very comfortable. She answered our text message all the time, both during day and nights.

Absolutely amazing experience...5 stars!!!
5/5

We had an incredible time on this tour! Everything was well organised, with clear instructions to find the meeting point. The transport staff and guides were absolutely wonderful—special thanks to Gift, Life, and Stanley for making the experience even better. Our stay at the Radisson in Hoedspruit was fantastic, with excellent amenities and friendly staff. I highly recommend adding a massage at their spa...it was the perfect way to unwind. The sunset drive at a private reserve was our highlight, allowing us to see the Big 5 up close. The following day at Kruger Park was an unforgettable adventure—it's a long day but absolutely worth it. I can't recommend this tour package highly enough!

Peter was amazing, he went over and beyond for us. He was a great guide. slightly disappointing.
4/5

Peter was amazing, not only we had a great guide but we found a passionate safari friend.
We loved the stay in into the wild Serengeti. Overall food was disappointing, we would have appreciated more local and authentic food rather than touristic one. Great staff everywhere, particularly in Heritage camps.
Bouganvillea was disappointing definitely not luxury. Food was very basic, no entertainment was offered.

We believe Joagro Safari offered the good service however, we think this could’ve been done in four days and not five which should have cut down the costs. The first day was unnecessary and felt like a waste of time (Tarangeri). We recommended to do Ngorongoro on day one, then just spend the rest of the day in Serengeti.

Twaha was a gift as he is informative, respected by peers, thoughtful, kind and great sense of humor
5/5

I wish I was a professional writer in order to explain how wonderful my time was with Twaha. He worked with my friend and I to maximize the time we had, ensured that the activities scheduled were appropriate to our age and physical condition. (Think arthritic knee etc). So easy to communicate via WhatsApp. Twaha's service was top notch. I felt that the price was good value for the package as our accommodations were fabulous. The vehicle for the week was very comfortable with plenty of bottled water. We hiked in to see the gorilla's, chimpanzees, Murchison Falls. Safaris etc. So much fun! I am truly grateful to have spent my time with Twaha. His driving made me feel safe. Hands down he is one of the best! Also, this is an African owned company which deserves support.

Excellent safari operator with fantastic guide
5/5

My girlfriend Sofie and I booked a 5 days private safari with Serengeti Luxury Safaris and we had the most amazing experience. We saw the big 5 and so much more as our guide Frank Sabore safely drove us through Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ndutu, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. Ndutu was not part of the original itinerary but our guide insisted we should go there since it was a good place this time of the year. Not all guides go to Ndutu as it involves a lot of off road driving and really puts navigation skills to the test. Ndutu turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip and we are so happy that Frank took us there and that Serengeti Luxury Safaris was flexible on adjusting the itinerary for us to the better and at no extra cost.
We had never been on a safari in Tanzania before so Sofie did a lot of research before booking and she contacted several companies before we decided. Serengeti Luxury Safari had an itinerary that we liked but the company did not have as many reviews as some other companies so at first we were a bit hesitant to choose them but we are so happy we did. Their customer service was exceptional. We had a lot of questions and they were always quick with replying and finding solutions to our travel needs. Most of this conversation was made through whatsapp which turned out to be a great way of communicating, often with a reply just minutes later. One thing we also liked about Serengeti Luxury Safari was that their lunches consisted of cooked meals kept in stainless steel containers and not the one-time-use type of cardboard boxes that many companies use.
We arrived in Arusha the day before our Safari started and the company helped us with hotel reservations and airport pickup. Noel, the owner of the company, met with us at the hotel in the evening to brief us on the upcoming days and so that we could finalize the payment as we only paid a 20% deposit in advance. Payment can be done in cash or through an online service that adds a few percent in credit card fee, something that is very common in Tanzania. This was very flexible to our needs so we ended up paying with a mix of cash and credit card online. We booked a private safari even though it is a bit more expensive than a shared one but we are so happy we did. Thanks to the car’s pop-up roof a lot of the game drives are made standing and we were able to move around freely in the car and could also set our own schedule. In the mornings we could leave as early or late as we wanted and while looking at various animals we could decide how long to stay and when to move on.

We would really like to recommend Serengeti Luxury Safari and if you book with them you should definitely ask for Frank Sabore to be your guide. Frank has his own Toyota Landcrusier that has been elongated for more comfort, power outlets at every seat and he made sure the car was nice and tidy every day despite all the dust we brought in. Some other cars we saw looked a bit worn but Frank's car felt very clean and fresh. The car had a cooler stacked with beer, wine, soda and water that we could enjoy during the day. In the evenings we bought drinks (food was complimentary) from the various places where we stayed, but it was no problem bringing some drinks from the car to enjoy in the room or in the tent. Frank grew up in a Masai village and it is just incredible how much he knows about all the animals, the land, the Masai people and their culture. Seeing all the animals and the beautiful landscape was fantastic by itself but Frank gave us so many more insights and memorable moments that we could not even dream about. Frank studied at the Wildlife college and is often hired as a guide for photographers so he was very skilled in positioning the car for optimal photo opportunities. “Up close and personal” was a phrase commonly used in the car and it summarizes the whole trip really well.
