You don’t have to worry about a thing
From pickup in Namibia to drop off a month later in Uganda, all I had to do was enjoy the trip.
These were my second (Namibia) and third (East Africa: Kenya and Uganda) trips organized by Compass Odyssey. I went with them because my first trip (South Africa/Victoria Falls/Okavango in 2018) went so smoothly.
Darren and Kate Humphrys made me feel like I was their only client. (We communicated more than 80 times before and during my trip.). In fact, Darren offered his suggestions for another Africa trip I took in July 2024 for which he wouldn’t receive a penny. He always ended his communications with, “I remain at your service.” The Humphrys always gave the impression that their moral code wouldn’t allow for anything less than complete satisfaction from me. Not just satisfaction but delight.
Every single thing you could think of was covered in the Trip Itinerary sent before the trip. If I had any middle of the night questions I’d communicate them and get a response the next day at the latest. Throughout the trip Darren was in touch with my guides and would ask me if I needed anything else.
What else could I need? Guides were phenomenal. Transitions were seamless. Accommodations ranged from simple to luxurious and were staffed by the most hospitable people on the planet.
If you’ve never been to Africa please go. The continent and Compass Odyssey want you to enjoy your experience, and they want it to be extraordinary.

Perfect choice for a private Safari tour
We had a beautiful 2-day Safari Tour with Lemali Tours in Tarangire & Ngorongoro. Elias responded to my inquiry immediately and offered a reasonable price for a private tour. The tour was very well organised with exciting experience. Dismass was a very kind and professional guide with great knowledge and experience. The service was excellent and the lodge for the night was very cosy. We will chose Lemali Tour again for our next trip.

Amazing wildlife and once in a lifetime experience
Tanzania stole our hearts, from the people, the scenic beauty and the abundance of wildlife and adventure on safari. Going early December meant we were met with some rain and muddy drives, but the parks were so quiet, some days we barely saw another safari vehicle, the lodges weren't at capacity but the animals were all out waiting to see spotted, admired and enjoyed.
We were lucky enough to see babies of almost all the animals, we got the big 5 and way more than that. The best thing we picked was going with Lion King Adventures and this was made so much easier by using safari bookings to get the ball rolling.
You will fall in love with Africa and be planning your return trip before you leave. If you are unsure where to start or what the one place to visit should be, choose Tanzania and you will not be disappointed.

Wonderfull, once in a lifetime experience
The trip was fantastic—we visited all the major parks and had the incredible experience of seeing all of the Big Five. The tented lodges were comfortable and orovided hs a great way to visit the parks, but staying in the Serengeti was truly unforgettable. Although it came at an extra cost, the morning balloon ride was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we highly recommend it to anyone. Pendo and her team were amazing, and we would wholeheartedly recommend Tales of Tanzania!

Fabulous vacation
We had an amazing time in Kenya. It was way beyond our expectations. The weather was great. The people were friendly. The food was delicious. We saw so many animals on safari and and the scenery was so beautiful. We will definitely go back.

Suricata is very professional and welcoming tour operator.
The Safari Tour was much better than ever expected. All people from Suricata did their utmost that we were able to have the best safari experiences.
Our guide Fredy was great and had a really good knowledge about all animals and was able to answer every question.
He guided us through Serengeti, Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara that we had the opportunity to see all animals that we were hoping to see. Every lunch was exceptionally good and the table was set with a tablecloth. The effort that was made is unique and great. Fredy is a funny guy due to his very kind and professional character he had a huge impact on our great safari experience.
We would book our next safari with Suricata again and would highly recommend Fredy as a guide!!

Fantastic
We had a wonderful safari! Issa from Destiny explorers was very helpful in assisting us through the booking process and our driver Daniel Mrongi was fantastic and spoke great English - extremely knowledgeable, friendly and funny! We saw every animal we wanted to see. The accommodation was also great. When we return to Africa we will definitely book our safari through Destiny Explorers again.
