Excellent, efficient, supportive
From our first contact to our return home, our booking agent & tour coordinator, James Kilorit, was super responsive, informative, caring in his communication and guidance. From our booking to his checking in about how our experiences were coming along to our arrival home, James treated us like family in his attentiveness.
James connected us with a driver, Willy Musau, who picked us up at our hotel promptly. Over the 5 days he was with us Willy was a top gun driver. We covered a lot of territory and he was well connected with all the other drivers - who clearly respected and enjoyed him - receiving input by phone and shortwave about where various animals could be found and tracked them. He was determined to expose us to as many species as possible. He was knowledgeable about the animals including some of the specific individual animals on various reserves.
Entim at Masai Mara was a mind blowing wonderful experience, we met some of the kindest people we came to know among the Masai there and at the Serena at Amboseli.
Sorry, this is becoming an essay. In short, beautiful country, people, experiences. Go with an open heart, surrender to serendipity. We loved our experience so much and Splendid Vacations delivered beyond our hopes

Very professional and excellent team, the driver Charles is very good, I would choose this company
This travel agency is my choice after comparing multiple platforms and quotations. They provide us with honest and trustworthy services. As our first visitors to Africa, they quickly feel the beauty here! The driver guide Charles was very professional and very lucky. He showed us a lot of animals on the first day. Thanks for his excellent driving skills on the rest of the way.

Very correct, perfectly informed in their work and very friendly with tourists!
We spent an unforgettable few days with our guide Sir Charles in Masai Mara. From the beginning, Sir Charles was very friendly to us, explaining in detail about the animals in the savannah and their characteristics. Despite the heavy traffic and dirt roads, time passed by unnoticed. The most important thing for us was to see as many animals as possible in the parks and this happened, thanks to our guide! We are so happy! I want to thank you for the unforgettable memories! I recommend Jocky Tours and guide Sir Charles to everyone who wants to have a perfect safari in Kenya!

respect for clients, amazing prices, amazing lodges
It was HAMZA from MASENGOTA TOUR OPERATOR who took care of me. I am a single client and I was a little worried because I am 67 years old. The tour operator MASENGOTA took care of me. Since my arrival at Kilimanjaro airport. it was four fantastic days ... not only because the trip is fantastic, but because HAMZA had found great lodges to sleep in, it was truly incredible. luxurious for the price, and staff who take great care of all customers ... very generous and very tasty meals. The guide who accompanied me during the four days is called PHILIP, the car equipped for safari with an opening roof offered me great visibility and above all great security, there is a freezer in the car, which allowed me to have cold drinks offered during my trip. The picnics that were prepared during the safari during the day were not sandwiches but real menus. Thanks to MASENGOTA, I had the opportunity to sleep two nights in the middle of the SERENGETI park, it is the most incredible adventure I have ever experienced and above all in safety with all the comfort that a Lodge can offer, in the middle of the national park. Can you imagine toilets? A large shower with hot water and a bed worthy of a hotel. PHILIP is an extraordinary guide who knows the three parks we visited like the back of his hand. Thanks to him, thanks to his insight, I was able to see the big five. If only I could show you the photos and videos that I was able to take!! Simply extraordinary!! A mother elephant who passed so close to the car with her baby, a very close cheetah who calls her children and is finally joined. A family of 8 lions who settled in front of our jeep…. etc etc… I don't know if other tour operators do the same with their customers for a very reasonable price. the lodges chosen by HAMZA are exceptional, which proves the seriousness of this tour operator and especially a proof of respect for its client. nothing is left to chance .... and no false note during these 4 days which remain a magnificent memory for me. I would like to thank and honor this small company which really deserves to work and which proves by the quality it offers to customers all its seriousness and reliability
thank you MASENGOTA TOUR OPERATOR

Glad I chose this one
It wasn't easy to choose from all the providers, but I'm absolutely happy with my decision. I had a spectacular 5-day tour that I will never forget. The lodges were well chosen and my guide Sara did everything she could to make the experience unforgettable for me. I particularly liked the fact that there were always little positive surprises that showed that my experience was the most important thing for the agency. For example, we had a ranger with us on several game drives, which was an absolute added value. Many other agencies did not offer this. Sometimes the game drives were much longer than planned to give me the chance to see a certain animal after all. I am incredibly grateful for this effort!
On the way back, our car broke down, but this situation was also resolved as well as is possible in Uganda.
Many thanks again to Elvis, the owner, and Sara, my guide, for this wonderful experience. Also a big thank you to Smith, who spontaneously went on a tour with me to Lake Bunyonyi. I hope to explore other countries in East Africa with you.

A wonderful experience
Our driver/guide, Jackson, was extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife and history of the region.
He was able to answer a wide variety of questions about the animals, plants, and terrain we were seeing while smoothly operating the vehicle.
I was absolutely floored with his ability to notice animals from a distance. We were fortunate enough to encounter black rhinos two times but they were so far away we could not see them without using binoculars or scopes. Without his assistance we could have absolutely missed them.
As a note I recommend bringing a bandana or other face covering as there is some dust on the roads.

Reliable, responsive and fun!
Service was excellent.
Agustin was great and very helpful with our itinerary. He was quick to answer all our questions and customized the tour to our needs.
Our guide, Jackson, was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and his suggestions were always on point. For example, we were ready to leave the wildebeest area and he suggested to wait a couple minutes. Just like he predicted, the wildebeest started to cross the river. Had we left, we would've missed that migration. It became a wonderful photo/ video opportunity. He's also a great spotter!
Highly recommend!

Spectacular Sightings
We did a seven day (five full) covering Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, and the Serengeti (south and central). Every day felt distinct and presented new exciting animal sightings. I kept thinking "we can't top that", but every day I had another wow moment.
Our tour guide, Jackson, was amazing. He clearly communicated the schedule for the day and provided details about the behaviours of the animals we saw. He was great with our 9 year old and accommodated sudden needs for bathroom breaks. Also, I'm pretty sure he had binoculars for eyes because his ability to spot animals was uncanny. He identified a rhino down in the caldera from a lookout high above Ngorongoro. Even with 7x binoculars it was still tiny. Unreal.
Some of our sightings included; a herd of Wildebeest (and a few zebras) crossing a lake (and then some of them crossed right back); giraffes galloping, eating, and looking at us with suspicion; lions sleeping and 100% not caring about us at all before disappearing in a bush that seemed too small to accommodate them; hyenas eating and others playing in the water; and cheetahs just being cats (thrilled we got to see them).
One day Jackson kept us out late because he'd heard that a leopard had been spotted. We had our way through the park and found her sleeping in a tree. While we watched she woke up, stretched, came down the tree, ran past the safari vehicles, up another tree, and started eating a kill she has stashed. Great experience. Hilariously, she was still there the next day, sleeping.
On our last day we came across a large herd of elephants (not our first) with juveniles of many ages. As we made our way down the road we found ourselves blocked by a large one who starred us down until the others had cleared the path. It made for some great photos.
Overall, a great experience.
P.S: I'm not an expert photographer (or any kind really) and everything I took was on my phone. So don't judge the experience by the quality of the photos, but the opportunities they represent.
