The essence of Ethiopia "erved" with caring approach, support for all you need and a positve vibe :)
5/5

We (I was a member of a group of 13 ) had a magnificent Timket experience, inspiring Gondar and Bahir Dar deep dive with the must see sightseeing + out of the beaten truck visits to enjoy local gourmet, fun dancing in a bar and everything else the cities had to offer:).
For the 3 days with "Essence of Ethiopia Tours" I felt greatly treated and well supported with information, overall assistance and all this accompanied by positve vibe and personal attitude :).

The only way to see Africa's wildlife and enjoy its friendly culture!
5/5

As I was excitedly telling a friend I was going on an African Safari in January, a woman overheard me and told me she goes to Africa yearly. She warned me I was making a mistake by going during the rainy season and said I wouldn’t see any wildlife. Her advice couldn’t have been more wrong!

Visiting Botswana Central Kalahari Reserve and the Magkadigkadi Salt Flats with David Shaw (Lead Photographer) and Sam Mopalo (Owner of Early Kingfisher Safari) was filled with incredible wildlife experiences! Sam, an accomplished naturalist who grew up and lives in Botswana, knows the wildlife in this area like the back of his hand. He can spot a lion, leopard, or any African beast from afar with his naked eye. It took the rest of us binoculars and the directions given by Sam and David to find it. The magic was getting close to this wildlife, close enough to photograph it. Sam’s tracking skills are beyond comparable. We were almost the only vehicle following the wildlife for days and never shared a viewing opportunity with anyone else.

David and Sam made a great “tag team.” What one missed or didn’t know, the other did. David, the avid and excellent photographer, ensured we had the best angle for the best shot, although Sam often nailed it before he said a word. And I came away with some remarkable photos, my favorites being those of the lions interacting with one another. I never guessed they could be as affectionate as a house cat!

Sleeping in tents with our every whim taken care of by Sam’s crew kept us close to the action. It was easy to be up early to photograph wildlife while it was still actively enjoying the cool morning light. While we rested in the shade of the sun during the middle of the day, we were back at it until sundown.

It was the best mobile safari camp experience possible. Sleeping in the bush, with everything we needed brought in—lights, food, warm and cold water, and shelter—the night rewarded us with a dark sky filled with stars that looked close enough to touch. The sounds of wildlife rocked us to sleep and gently woke us in the morning.

During the trip, we also spent a few nights in comfortable lodges with excellent food and hospitality. Still, the best food was cooked over an open flame or baked buried with coals underground. Sam’s cooks were the best; their tasty flavors for various grains and vegetables heightened the rest of the meal.

David and Sam’s cheerful, friendly personalities brought the rest of us into the fold, and we all became friends with stories to tell for the rest of our lives.

A privilege to be in the Eden of Africa (the Ngorongoro crater), in a nomadic camp staying inside the Serengeti park!, the proximity to a breathing, dying, breeding, living planet, with so many animals, birds, trees, flowers. Before even further mass tourism, go!

Provided an excellent week of primate and classic safaris in Uganda and Rwanda
5/5

This small company is eager to please. Communications were fast and clear, and the owner satisfied my every request to give me the perfect custom tour from Entebbe to Kigali. The price was quite reasonable. My driver/guide Justus was totally reliable as well as kind, a lot of fun to travel with, and a good spotter on game drives. I did chimp and gorilla treks in Uganda, as well as a boat safari and 2 game drives (with a leopard mom teaching her two rowdy cubs to hunt). There were also a couple of community visits, to see how coffee is produced entirely by hand, and to visit a Batwa community and local orphanage. Then in Rwanda I did a golden monkey trek and a hike to Dian Fossey’s worksite and grave, with a visit to Ellen DeGeneris’s Gorilla Center. A day tour of Kigali rounded out a very full week ending at the airport. It was a fabulous trip and I highly recommend Antique Safaris. They can also help you with a much more relaxed pace.

Impeccably organized an enriching safari experience !!!!!
5/5

This was our fifth trip to Kenya, but our first with Beyond the Plains Kenya Safaris—and it far exceeded our expectations. From the start, their professionalism and transparency stood out. A special thanks to Felix, their safari specialist, whose prompt communication and meticulous planning ensured a perfectly tailored itinerary.

The 4x4 Landcruiser vehicle provided was not only brand new but also in top condition—essential for a comfortable safari experience. Our guide and driver, Charles, was exceptional—his patience, good knowledge of the terrain, and friendly demeanor made the journey even more enjoyable.

Our trip to Samburu through Sweetwaters (Laikipia) was impeccably organized, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in Kenya’s stunning wildlife and landscapes without a hitch. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making it a truly memorable experience.

We highly recommend Beyond the Plains Kenya Safaris to anyone looking for a well-planned, honest, and enriching safari experience.

Amazing!
5/5

We booked a 9 day safari camping trip at Kiliholidays. The trip was amazing. The accomodations and campings were great. We slept in the middle of the Serengetti and Ngorongoro. You could hear the lions and hyena’s at night. Our guide Thomas was great, he knew a lot about the animals, surroundings and culture. Our chef Daniel was our so called stomach engineer, he served great meals. I really reccomend to book your safari at Kiliholidays.
