Good safari
We had a very good safari because we were lucky enough to be able to observe many animals, including the big five, in an exceptional setting and with our guide Francis at the top.
Too bad the transport times are so long, but the service provider has nothing to do with it.

Dennis was very knowledgeable and knew the areas well. Saw much more than I expected. Smoothly ran.
Would definitely recommend. Dennis was amazing and had a wealth of knowledge and experience which meant we saw so much. Accommodations were very nice and food was provided and very good. 10/10.

Dream trip of a lifetime in Tanzania
This was a dream trip for my mother and me. The team at Duma Explorer and Alika Africa put together the perfect itinerary for a recently retired wildlife biologist from the US National Park Service and her 87-year-old mother - quite a feat!
We spent 12 days exploring and experiencing Arusha, Tarangire, Ngorongoro, the Ndutu region, Serengeti, and Zanzibar. We both thoroughly enjoyed the trip. All the places we stayed were fantastic – I have a new appreciation for what a “tent camp” can be! Adding in a night drive in Tarangire, a walk in Ndutu, and snorkeling at Chumbe Island were great additions to the experience. Thanks so much to Stacy for working with us to put the trip together.
I can’t say enough about how fantastic our guide Isack Msuya was – I will always be grateful for his sharing with us his deep knowledge the natural and cultural heritage of Tanzania. Working for over 20 years with resource interpreters and biologists from US Parks, I have a deep appreciation for how great Isack is. Extra thanks for all his help with the birds, and I hope to be back in 2026!

Professional and personal excellence in planning and conduct of my awesome Namibian adventure!
I read about Nature Travel Namibia on the net and some positive client reviews made me contact them for planning my 10-days’ trip 31st Jan to 9th Feb 2025. My goal was to see some key mammal and bird species that I had dreamt of for many years as well as to get an overall experience of the unique Namibian nature with its deserts, rocks and coastline. Petra Joell caught my expectations and booked my itinerary and was responsive and energetic in her communication and I immediately felt that I was in good and professional hands. Petra’s husband Buzzy met me at the airport in Windhoek 31st of January and the adventure started right away. Buzzy and I then had 10 epic days together and I really enjoyed his guiding and company, and he managed to find my dream species and much more. It was obvious that Buzzy knew how and when to look for different mammal and bird species and he also demonstrated deep skills when it came to reptiles, amphibians, insects, spiders and plants. We also found some rare birds and Buzzy got to new life birds and it is always a good thing when the guide gets excited. As a biologist since my early childhood and education at the University, it was great for me to be able to discuss the processes and links within the Namibian nature with Buzzy to get a deeper understanding regarding these quite extreme ecosystems. The lodges we stayed at were top class situated in the middle of nature with great food, rooms and service.
From my heart I can really recommend that you go with Nature Travel Namibia in the Southern part of Africa.

A relaxed, informative, fun approach to safari holidays.
Sirua were amazing from start to end. Alex was recommended to us so we already felt in safe hands and that feeling grew along our trip.
Alex collaborated with us regarding timings and routes, taking out group (ranging from teenagers to 80 years) into account at all times.
Alex’s local knowledge (across the country), and recommendations enhanced our holiday.
Alex interacted wonderfully with myself, my teenagers and my 80 year old mum. He has all bases and conversation topics covered! He learned to play with darts with my son (new to him) aswell as sharing his own leisure/ work experiences.
Alex’s driving was efficient and safe. Kenyan driving is a world from British driving yet we were all completely relaxed with him behind the wheel.
Alex went over and above each day and with all suggestions.
This was a brilliant holiday hugely enhanced by Siriua’s approach and knowledge.
We will be back!

Great guy with great personality
We chose Hekima Safaris among many tour operators because of their prompt and professional communication, and we couldn’t have made a better decision! From our initial contact in Germany, Mopoo was incredibly responsive and provided detailed and accurate information. When certain questions required confirmation from his team in Tanzania, he ensured quick and reliable follow ups, always staying true to his word.
Our safari experience was perfectly balanced, beginning with a day in Arusha where we immersed ourselves in the local culture, including traditional dances, followed by a breathtaking sunset hike with Ambrosia. The highlight was our seven day game drive through Tarangire, Central Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater, guided by the exceptional Sindano. Our talented cook, Action, impressed us with fresh, diverse meals every day even baking bread each morning and making pizza in the middle of the Serengeti!
A helpful tip for future travelers: bring warm clothing for the nights spent camping at the Ngorongoro Crater’s edge (2,400m altitude).
Hekima Safaris delivered outstanding value for money and an unforgettable experience. We were fortunate to witness all of the Big Five, making this journey truly special. Thank you to our friends at Hekima Safaris for an incredible adventure
