Easy to deal with , and delivered amazing Experiance
5/5

Overall a great experience from the pick up at joburg airport by Wade , though a long drive, would advise flying to Nelspruit if you have the option, as much closer to Kruger.
Wade was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. The camps were basic but clean with well stocked shops , all you really need as you don’t sleep much, because of the early/late safaris. We saw the big 5 within 1.5 hrs on the first evening safari then saw the big five another two times . Wade and the assigned safari guides know exactly where to take you to see the ever moving beautiful animals you hope to see but are never guaranteed.
We will go back again to North Kruger did south this time . South in March is very lush and dense , so we were lucky to see big 5 three times.
Only thing we didn’t see which hopefully we will see in the winter in the north is cheetahs.
Would highly recommend the company.
Thanks Wade and the team.

4 amazing days in Murchinson Falls
5/5

My experience was amazing and it was due to my guide Michael and the amazing nature. Michael was smiling and nice. I was alone for this travel but thanks to Michael it feels like home. I had the opportunity to see a lot of animals (chimpanzee monkeys girafa elefant lions hiena rhino …) and the landscape of murchinson falls was incredible

Very good
5/5

The safari was an amazing experience. Our guide was very good and he found all the animals very quickly and we were one of the first to see them. Everything went smooth and we also had some good surprises, like making a small walk to see the hippos and crocodiles and having a picnic at the park looking a spectacular landscape and the view of birds nearby us. The vehicle was very good and our accommodation had really kind stuff. It is worth it!

The perfect host
5/5

Paws and Claws of the super friendly and professional Danford has proven to be the perfect safari organiser for us, a dutch/ french family of 4 with kids of 13 and 16. Already the selling phase went very satisfying. Danford was responsive and wanted as much as we to come to a perfect program for us. Although the price was initially stated in USD we could pay directly in EUR for the offical international exchange rate which saved us several hundreds of EUROS on exchange fees (on average 10%). Once arrived in Tanzania he welcomed us personally and introduced us to our personal guide and driver Gilbert. Un even more important person for us of course because with him we had to be closely together for the coming days and he could make or break our adventure. And he did make it just perfect. Very intelligent, really pleasant company and funny, a good listener and explainer and the perfect nose for spotting the wild animals. We could see that he was loved by many of his colleagues and other personell of the camps we stayed in. So that would result for us in the best treatment and info as well. Gilbert thank you very much!
The safari was one great adventure. We spotted all of the possible animals including the very rare cheetah. And usually we had one of the best positions among the other cars to observe closely. The lodges and camps came up to our expectations or better. Especially the camps were you are in the middle of the wildlife and see and hear the animals just around you. There was wifi, for afican standards good food and cold beer.
Finally being a father and hushand you want a safari to be an adventure but a safe adventure. The most dangerous elements of a safari are the roads, the car and the driver. So you need a good car and a grown up driver that avoids all the unnecessay risks. And Gilbert showed to be by bringing us back savely and full of good memories. As I said in the beginning they were to perfect hosts and I definedly recommand them.

A Memorable Tour Led by a Veteran Guide
5/5

From the moment I started planning my trip to Africa, I was eagerly looking forward to visiting Kenya. During the planning phase, I compared numerous tours available online and found that Family Leisure Africa Safaris had an outstanding reputation. I reached out to them via email, and they responded to all my questions promptly and clearly, making it easy for me to book a private tour without any hesitation.
On the morning of the tour, not only did the veteran guide/driver who would be leading the tour come to pick me up at the hotel, but also the individuals I had been corresponding with via email from Family Leisure Africa Safaris came to see me off. They even presented me with a lovely gift.
The private tour I booked was a 2-day, 1-night adventure that included interactions with the Maasai people, multiple game drives in Masai Mara, lodging and meals at a lodge within Masai Mara National Reserve, and round-trip transportation in a Land Cruiser. While many tourists opt to fly from Nairobi to Masai Mara, I chose to travel by car, and it was the best decision I made. John, the veteran guide and driver, was truly exceptional. He drove with great professionalism, minimizing the vehicle's vibrations on the bumpy roads around Masai Mara and within the national park.
During the game drives, I was able to observe over ten lions, as well as cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, elephants, zebras, hyenas, monitor lizards, buffaloes, ostriches, hippos, and more, all in their natural habitat and up close. To safely observe so many animals in the vast safari, an experienced veteran guide is essential, and John was exactly that.
I highly recommend Family Leisure Africa Safaris not only to Japanese travelers but to people from all over the world. Thank you very much for an unforgettable experience.

Very professional
5/5

Our recent 4-day safari was an unforgettable experience, and much of that was thanks to Raymond and his dedicated team. From the outset, they were incredibly helpful, ensuring everything went smoothly. Their expertise and passion for wildlife made a huge difference in how much we learned and enjoyed throughout the trip.

The safari itself was amazing. We were lucky enough to see a variety of wildlife up close, including elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, and even cheetahs. Each day brought something new and exciting, and our guides made sure we never missed a moment.

One of the most memorable parts of the trip was the accommodations. Sleeping in the wild bush was a completely new experience for us. It was thrilling to fall asleep surrounded by nature and to hear the roar of lions in the distance as we slept under the stars.

Overall, this safari was a perfect blend of adventure, learning, and relaxation. Raymond and his team ensured that every detail was taken care of, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you're looking for a safari that goes beyond just seeing animals, this is definitely the way to go!

The friendly staff were there to help me so that I wouldn't feel anxious.
4/5

The operator gave me some appropriate advice even before the tour, as I was worried about it.
I got sick during the tour, but the driver was always there to support me.
Pickup at 3:30 was a tough start to the tour.
But I'm grateful for their kind support. Thanks to them, I enjoyed the tour.

Unforgettable Safari
5/5

Our safari with Taswira was simply perfect! Every day, we enjoyed delicious food, and dietary restrictions (e.g., gluten-free) were accommodated without any issues. Our guide and the chef were not only professional but also incredibly friendly and always there for us.

The safaris themselves were outstanding – we saw amazing wildlife and received fascinating information along the way. A special highlight was the food: while other safaris only provided lunch boxes, we always had a freshly prepared, warm meal.

The tents were spacious and equipped with mosquito protection, and the camps were all beautiful – we felt comfortable at all times. Taswira offers an absolutely recommendable safari experience that we would book again in a heartbeat!

Big thanks to Rocky and Samson!!!!

Well organised private tour
5/5

We decided to organise a 3-4 week tour of Laos/Vietnam and Cambodia and having been recommended by another travel agent we chose to go with Wayfairer Travel. From the initial planning, scheduling and extensive choice of excursions in each country we finally made up our minds on a private tour with driver and guide in each location throughout the tour. We were not to be dissapointed. The overall planning, advice and attention to detail from Wayfairer's specialists was outstanding. Even the Final itinerary with attached advice on health, currencies and contact details was provided in an easy to follow colourful digital format.
The tour itself was very well organised, with pick ups and hotel transfers all on time. We requested 4-5 star hotels and we certainly got what we paid for in each location. Excursions were all organised to suit our preferences and daily timescale. From half and full day tours to evening tours on the back of Vespas with bars, restaurants, street food and live music thrown in, we were kept busy.
We would recommend all three countries, all different, all full of history, architecture and varying landscapes. Above all the welcome received from meeting the local people going about their daily lives, learning to embrace and develop tourism as a way of life, many of them having lived through a much darker past made Indochina, for us, a fascinating and never to be forgotten destination.
