The safari was very organized and allowed us to see amazing animals and scenary
5/5

We found the safari organized by Peter on the internet and reached out to him via phone. He was very responsive and presented the different options.
The option we choose was great (6 days safari) very well organized and allowed us to see many animals (the big 5!) and beautiful sceneries
Love it and would recommend

Amazing 5 day Masai Mara + L Nakuru safari (Highly recommend)
5/5

We had booked a 5 day Masai Mara + Lake Nakuru safari with Axis Africa Safaris. We had a great experience with them. They had done excellent arrangements everywhere. Hotel check-ins were smooth; our vehicle was always stocked with water.

Our driver-cum-guide Mr Solomon was a very friendly and knowledgeable person. He took us as close to the animals as possible and he would talk to us about the different animals, their behavior, habitat, food habits etc.

The hotels and food was excellent. They had arranged for pick-up and drop off from/to our desired destination. All in all we had a great time and I would highly recommend Axis Africa Safaris.

BEST TOUR FOR UNFORGETTABLE SAFARIS
5/5

Starluck Travel is a top notch tour company. They had great, quick communication and provided an amazing safari with excellent accommodations at a great price. We went during February, the low season, and our guide/driver helped us see big cats, hoards of elephants, and more. Our guide, David, provided the best service, going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable at each point of the trip. Considering the long distances between national parks, comfort is something you can’t compromise.
For those who are birdwatchers, make sure to ask for David Ndirangu! He helped my son see over 120 bird species, truly an amazing person. We had a great time with David for 5 days in Masai Mara and Amboseli.

Real Tent experience for LIFE !
5/5

After traveling through South Africa with 53 senior Black ladies, 2 lodges, 4 hotels for 2 weeks! (very enjoyable), I had to do my solo South African exploration. I had choose Mzansi while in NY, knowing nothing about lodge living, I just WANTED A TENT! The entire EXPERIENCE from the pick up at in hannesburg to the flight back to Johannesburg was an adventure I hope to repeat until I'm bounded! I'm so proud of my self for choosing Mzansi! Everything went smoothly! The five hour drive to Kruger's National Park gave me time to rest, reflect, catch up and purchase a authentic zebra skin from one of shops 2 stops during the ride. Most of all the ride introduced me to the vast South African Landscape. The lodge was goregously junglelfied decor from the lodge to the 24 hour pool( bring your own towel). Breakfast and dinner is included,(steak was delicious). You choose the number of nights/safaris and sleeping quarters. The tents surpassed my expectations, it was roomy, air conditioned, hot shower and bathroom had plenty of suitcase space, coffee maker and maid service. Enjoyed all of it, I decided to fly back to Johannesburg 30 min fly. airport 45 min from lodge. drive was arranged by the lodge. next trip it will be a round trip flight! NEXT TIME - THE TENT AGAIN!

Amazing Memories delivers on their name
5/5

Amazing Memories did an incredible job with my photography focused tour of Kenya. The tour they designed for me gave me a wide range of exposure to the different environments of Kenya and maximized my opportunities to see animals. The tour took into account my interests and lodging was great. For example Ol Pejata offered good opportunities for rhinos where they are less common in Masaai Mara. My guide, Francis, was a complete hero. He managed to find all the big cats, including the elusive leopard, and Big 5. We also saw some of the more rare animals like serval cat, jackals, hyenas, etc. I really appreciated that Francis considered my interests. I said I am also a birder, he would stop to point out birds that I was interested in seeing, like the lilac-breasted roller and Secretary bird. Three other really impressive momments were when he suggested an adjustment to our itinerary so we maximized chances of finding leopards and explained options to me; when he said he did research the night before our drive in the Mara and we found two prides of lions, a leopard, and a family of cheetahs; and when the cats were moving and he said he knew where to go to get us in front of them instead of behind them. Great safari!
5/5

Had a great time, Caleb was our tour guide and was fantastic, really friendly and engaging. We chose the slightly more expensive Flair camp and I don't think the staff could have been more accommodating and helpful

A Memorable Mount Kenya Adventure
5/5

Our journey to Mount Kenya and the climb to Point Lenana was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we were picked up at Nairobi Airport, everything was seamlessly organized. At the office, we met our guide, Jimmy, whose expertise and warm personality set the tone for the adventure. We then made our way to Nanyuki and the Sirimon Gate via local bus, where we were introduced to the rest of our incredible team—our porters and cook—who played a crucial role in making this trip so enjoyable.

Our trek began with a hike to Old Moses Camp, though the tarmac road leading there was less exciting for hiking. The next day, we continued to Shipton’s Camp, where we were treated to breathtaking views of the towering 1,000-meter walls of Mount Kenya’s highest peaks. Along the way, we passed through a variety of climate zones, each with its own distinct vegetation. Jimmy shared fascinating insights about the different climbing routes to various peaks, adding depth to our experience.

Thanks to our strong pace, we decided to start our summit attempt at 3:30 AM the following morning. Though we set off as the last group, we reached the summit as the second group, arriving 30 minutes before sunrise. This gave us some time to explore the ridges around the peak before witnessing a truly spectacular sunrise, with distant views of Mount Kilimanjaro. While the summit can be quite popular due to its accessibility, the experience was still magical.

But the highlight of the day was yet to come. We descended from nearly 5,000 meters to below 3,000 meters in just 25 km. Despite expecting sore knees, the gradual descent and the support of our porters made it a smooth and enjoyable trek. As we made our way down, we passed through every possible climate zone, from the alpine glacier regions to the lush rainforest—a truly remarkable journey through nature’s diversity.

Overall, we can highly recommend this tour, especially with Jimmy as a guide. He not only organized everything flawlessly but also enriched our experience with his deep knowledge of the area. On a personal level, we also enjoyed learning about his daily life, making the trip even more meaningful. We would also like to give special recognition to the rest of the team, whose hard work and dedication provided us with a level of comfort we’re not accustomed to, as we usually carry everything ourselves in the mountains. If you plan to visit, we strongly suggest requesting Jimmy, especially if you’re interested in multi-pitch climbing routes, which we hope to try in the future.

For those considering this trek, we highly recommend bringing your own tent. The huts can be crowded and noisy at night, and sleeping in a tent offers a much more peaceful experience. As we gained a lot of altitude in a short time, we did experience mild altitude sickness, so if you’re sensitive, you might want to choose a route with a slower ascent.

Back in Nairobi, we were also impressed by the excellent service from the Karibu Safari team. A wonderful woman quickly arranged our transport to Tanzania and even accompanied us there, making our transition smooth and hassle-free.

This was a truly incredible journey, and we can’t wait to return for more adventures!
