I would go there again
I booked a safari for Tarangire national park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area and it did not disappoint! Safaris in Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire National Park were beyond my expectations. The variety of wildlife, the awe-inspiring landscapes, and the expertise of our guide made it an unforgettable journey. I saw dozens of elephants up close, moving through the plain! Other highlights included lions lounging in the shade, zebras, and giraffes elegantly wandering the savannah. Our guide’s knowledge and accommodation made the experience even better, as we learned fascinating details about the ecosystem and the behaviour of the animals.
Tanzania is a beautiful country full kind people and land is amazing. Doing safari there is a unique experience. I will absolutely go again.

Definetely, I would choose them again
It was an amazing experience, they wanted to make us comfortable all the time, gave us water, stoped in whatever spot we wanted to see animals… they know perfectly where to go and how to di it. It is worth it, I would do it again with them and definetely I would recomend it to everybody who is willing to have an unforgettable experience.

Julia our safari consultant was the best, we travelled as a family of three with our son, all of us with different expectations.
She was so professional right from the start to the end of our safari of 7days starting with Masai Mara, we were humbled with the big numbers of wild life, our guide was so knowledgeable about different animal species, to lake Nakuru was amazing too, then sloped to Amboseli with a welcome with large herds of Elephants,
We are still with fresh memories of our safari, thanks to Julia hope to come and re do the same safari.

Extra ordinary and flowless booking process for our February 2025 Wildebeest Calving Season Safari
This was our 12th Safari and 5th for Tanzania. Initially In March 29th of 2024, I contacted Lion King Adventures for our February 2025 Wildebeest Calving Season Safari and communicated with Mr. Godwin Olais. We new when we wanted to travel, for how many days at each lodges that we wanted to stay and that made it easy with Godwin and he provided with ALL the info that we needed. Believe it or not but by April 2nd (less than 5 days), we were able to nail down our travel program with respective itinerary.
Once the booking was finalized the communication with Lion Kings shifted from Mr. Godwin Olais to Nickson Obedi who was part of the reservation and logistics team. It was the pleasure to work with Godwin and then with Nickson.
Once arrived at Arusha Airport, we were picked up by our Guide and then the journey began.....
One note though: As we have been on to the Safaris a lot more time - Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa and Botswana, we have had a very good experience and interacts with different Guides, unfortunately comparing to all of our experiences with all other tours, I would give only 3 Stars to our guide on this trip. I do not recall his name. Please accept my apology if I am spelling his name incorrectly - I think it was Sahiliah. Hardworking, well mannered and well knowledgeable of the Ndutu and Southern Serengeti parks but lacking the force that the guide/driver need on Safari in taking the guests to the sites safe but fast enough. At least half a dozen safari vehicles will overtake us when going to the same location and you miss the better chance to have your safari vehicle at better if not the best spot.
We were lucky to see a lot of lions - seven times, Cheetahs - five times , Elephants - almost every day - nine days and Leopards - 4 times plus all other animals. We had a great time and do not regrate anything as we were in Ndutu area for 9 nights and that is more than enough to see all that one wants to see.
We will be going Tanzania again and will surely see if things could work out with Lion Kings but request a more experience Guide/Driver next time.

Absolutely fantastic ,smart, empathetic ,fun
An adventure beyond words. One you have to experience to get the Granduer of the wild kingdom of Africa, meeting tribes face to face having your palette touch the many tastes of this continent. Roughing the dust roads to ending the day in a five star lodge in the middle of nowhere! Our guide who shines with his love and knowledge of Africa was so inspiring and kept us on the edge of our seats! The service was precise and more than I could have asked for. Our drivers became our friends and companions. An experience that will live in my heart forever! Worth every cost it took to not have to think of anything else in life.

Easy to work with..there when we needed her!
I was traveling with my daughter to Johannesburg and was a bit nervous not being familiar with our surroundings,but we were cared for from start to finish and the days were filled with the exact activities we asked for. Great company!

Flexible, timely service for a 3-day safari experience
The brief safari tour experience we enjoyed with Africa Marvel Tours had only positives, from the driver Mike always being on time to him flexibly adjusting to our preferences with regards to pick-up, drop-off or game drive timing. The two accommodations picked (Sentrim Lodge, Saltlick Lodge) both had its stunning viewings of elephants tied to it and generally offered above average sleeping arrangements. Recommended!

trip of a lifetime
We traveled with Huruma as our guide and it was a life-changing experience. The staff, the food, the tour, everything was top-notch. We saw so many animals, the history, the biology, all of it was so fascinating. Huruma went above and beyond with driving to see a pride of lions, keeping us safe, getting great photos, seeing rhino sightings, the wildebeest migration. I wish we could stay forever, Tanzania was a magical place beyond description. Huruma was so professional, kind, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and energetic.
The food and lodging were nicer than any hotels in the US, it was truly incredible.
Lion King was communicative, clear, and very informative. Our stay in Zanzibar was great as well.
I would recommend Lion King to anyone and everyone!

Travel safe and nice with Call of Africa Safaris
