This trip has exceeded all of my expectations, so glad we chose Crater Explorers.
My family booked a 5 day Safari with Crater Explorers. I met Emanuel at his office and we worked out the details and price. Very happy to find a budget safari option where we could spend a few nights camping in tents in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater rim. One night there were giraffes right outside our tents. We shared the vehicle with 3 other safari goers and this only added to the experience. We had such a great group of folks from all over the world.
We saw the big 5 and so much more. The amount of wildlife in these Parks and Conservation areas is mind-boggling.
Our guide and driver, Charles, was laid back and calm and expertly got us into great positions to view the animals. It’s like he could see what was about to happen and manoeuvred our Landcruiser into the ideal viewing position.
The chef, another Emanuel, provided an abundance of tasty food three times a day. We were surprisingly hungry after full days of touring around and looked forward to each... Read more meal.
Emanuel met us at our hotel after the safari to have a chat and make sure we had a good time.
These guys are all pros. Highly recommend this small company.

The best safari guide one can ever ask for!
Our group had an amazing experience with Dexter touring the safari of Masai Mara. Dexter is incredibly considerate, caring, patient, and attentive to all our asks during the entire experience. He also has a gift of spotting animals from hundreds of meters away :). Thank you again for the outstanding service and we will surely be back in the future!

Gametrackers put together a customised tour, within my budget, and always responded in a friendly and flexible manner to the itinary and other questions. The tour guide on site was professional and experienced, was able to tell me a lot about the animals and the region. I appreciated he knew somewhat remote quiet places for animal observations, always paying attention to animal behaviour and keeping disturbance to a minimum.
I enjoyed the tour and always felt that I was in good hands. I have many wonderful memories from the trip - many thanks to the whole team!

We had an incredible experience during our three-day safari in Tanzania! Mike and his team truly exceeded our expectations. Our guide was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our journey even more enjoyable. The accommodations we stayed in were comfortable and provided a perfect blend of luxury and nature, allowing us to relax after each exciting day of exploration.
The food was absolutely fantastic, featuring a variety of delicious local dishes that catered to all our tastes. Great team
A great trip, fantastic staff and well worth it.
I found it hard coming from sea level, first night at 3000m, second at 4000m and the assent the next day was tough without any rest day... but with determination and lots of heavy breathing, I made it. Thanks to the guide and cook who were great covering for the porter who was ill. I hope he is OK now. A lovely experience.

Reliable, exceeded my expectations and attentive! I loved it.
The safari organised by Dickson and his team really exceeded my expectations! I can safely say that it was one of my best experiences with a safari service provider. My questions were all answered before hand, the journey to the hotel was so comfortable and the hotel was great. The driver Fred who drove us to Amboseli was the cherry on top, he was really reliable, friendly and a good story teller and a good travel companion for us. He would always give us facts about the animals we came across, he always asked us if we were okay and generally good driver. I can't wait to book again next year for the wild beast migration with Adventure Africa Expedition!

AMAZING - a once in a lifetime experience
Our safari through Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti was absolutely incredible! We saw an astonishing variety of wildlife up close and learned so much thanks to our amazing guides, who were not only knowledgeable but also passionate and attentive. Every moment felt magical – from breathtaking landscapes to thrilling animal encounters. This was truly one of the best experiences of my life, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure!

Perfect safari experience
This was our first visit to Africa. Our son arranged this trip for us and made all the bookings. On arrival at the booking office it appeared very cramped and although the members of staff were polite it did look slightly disorganised . After payment we were taken outside to meet our guide, Joshua, and load our bags into the jeep - a roomy Toyota land cruiser in which we would spend a great deal of our trip. The vehicle was clean and looked well maintained. We soon relaxed as Joshua was very friendly, polite and experienced, knowing every route to take around the parks to give us the best experience possible and we saw every animal we had wished for. He was happy to answer all our questions and to adapt the trip around various excursions we had booked eg hot air balloon flight and a boat trip. The safari was great with an awesome guide
The safari with the guide Mike was excellent. The service was great and Mike had good knowledge on where the different animals was located and also about the species.
It was an amazing experience and good value for the money.
